The title says it all. When participating in the crowdloan for Moonbeam, I accidentally used my Polkadot address when prompted to add recieving address for rewards. Are my tokens gone or are there any way of recover them from my polkadot address?
At least in some aspects, like POS, this notion seems to be true. Let's hope growth will continue at this pace and many Ethereum projects will switch over. I am excited!

Moonbeam Launch Process
Moonbeam has completed its 3-phase launch process to Polkadot. During the last phase, the 🔑 super user key (Sudo) was removed, the ⛓️↔️⛓️ EVM and 🔄 balance transfers were enabled, and the active set of collators was increased to 48.
Now, GLMR token holders are able to stake with collators, claim crowdloan rewards, and serve as active network members by participating in the onchain governance system!

Polkadot successfully launched its first 5 parachains a couple of weeks ago, https://polkadot.js.org/apps/#/parachains. All five are producing blocks, but trading isn't enabled yet.
Moonbeam will become tradeable on exchanges when a governance motion passes. This is planned to occur on January 11, https://moonbeam.network/networks/moonbeam/launch/
Moonbeam's test chain, Moonriver, is already running on Kusama and has been tradeable for a few months, https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/moonriver.
I'm anticipating significant volatility in both DOT and GLMR on Monday when Moonbeam becomes tradeable because this represents the Polkadot network waking up and coming to life.
Anyway, I just wanted to make a post to highlight a couple of my thoughts:
- The Polkadot network became operational on Dec 18th after four years of development.
- Parachains running on the Polkadot network will become tradeable this month which represents a potential opportunity.

What is Moonbeam?

Which services will be available for GLMR?
Kraken and Kraken Terminal will be available for GLMR. Kraken Futures and Margin Trading won’t be available at launch.
Will Kraken list more assets?

I'm planning to buy some and stake it but it looks promising because it's the largest and first project on Polkadot going live and also allows staking for 30%.
With the markets currently doing pretty boring Moonbeam will bring some action and gain interest from users from other coins, so not a bad idea to keep an eye
Moonbeam is live and one of first DEX's that PADswap is running right now.
We saw plenty of 10x opportunities last year if you were early to the Moonriver network. I'm betting the same type of event will occur for Moonbeam. The timing is still very early, with it being the second day that the network has been live. I believe that PADswap will prevail as the leading DEX for the following reasons:

Yayyy, Moonbeam is finally trading on Kucoin around $10. Is anyone currently buying or waiting for a dip. Looking forward to hearing some inputs.
I am interested in MoonBeam.
However, the MoonBeam currently has only a few Dapps but its market cap is already twice of that in MoonRiver.
The FDV is even worse with 10 billion USD, almost 10x compared Moonriver, and even larger than Fantom.
There are tons of Dapps running on MoonRiver right now. Also, Fantom has much larger ecosystem.
I decide to step back from buying due to reasons above. I must be missing something here. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I have a few issues with both of these spells as implemented in BG3.
Firstly and most importantly they are currently double-dipping on damage. What I mean by that is that both spells as per 5e rules deal damage "When a creature enters the area for the first time on a turn, or starts its turn there".
So if someone walks into the area, they take damage. If someone starts their turn and they're in the area they take damage.. I'm cool with that.. however these spells are currently also dealing damage when cast. Now you could say that having the spell cast on you is like entering it. You weren't in the spells are and now you are.. however I don't believe that is the intention of the rule.. and regardless of the intention this means that in the first round of casting these spells do damage twice, which makes them deal significantly more damage than other spells of their level. So whether or not you agree with the rules interpretation Larian is using, the current implementation makes these spells too powerful.
Without the damage on cast they'll still be great spells, you can still shove people into them - really fun btw..
Another thing. Ever since moonbeam came out it's aoe has seemed really small. in 5e moonbeam has a 5ft radius, but in bg3 it seems to be more like 2ft radius. Cloud of daggers is meant to fill a ft cube, but it looks like it has a 5ft radius in bg3.

To fit with 5e these should be swapped.. though cloud of daggers is a lesser complaint. I wouldn't care so much about cloud of daggers having a buffed area if it didn't double dip on damage. Moonbeam still has the advantage of being able to be moved for an action on a later turn.. but moonbeam should definitely have that aoe increase. The double dipping damage is the only reason moonbeam is still a good spell in bg3 at the moment.
Another problem with moonbeam: Where is the ability to move it while in beast form? Sure you can't cast spells while in wildshape, but you can still use already cast spells!

The Solarbeam project you all know and love from Kusama, just launched on Moonbeam! They renamed their Moonbeam version to Solarflare, but it's still under the Solarbeam Dev. umbrella. These devs have TRUELY outdone themselves!
