A list of puns related to "Monsignor"
When he is confessing to his wife at the end of the show (episode 7), he says to her that the only reason he βput that thing inside the trunkβ and brought it back to Crockett island and lied to everyone is so that she and Sarah would live forever.
Soβ¦ did he always know that this wasnβt quite an βangelβ?
I'm kinda lost on what killed him in episode 3. Not sure if I missed something but I'm hung up on it.
Is it just me or was he not stuffing his face in 95% of the scenes he was in? Must have had great metabolism.
He's obviously jealous and knows that Carmela wants Padre to taste more than her ziti. If something did happen, and Tony got wind of it, would he be bold enough to mete any kind of physical punishment on a Catholic priest? He is a strict Catholic after all. Is that something the mafia prohibits specifically? Do Catholic clergy get special protection?
The cinematography in this show is simply *chefβs kiss*, hence the sketch. Hope you enjoy the next rendition of the βHot Priestβ trope. I never thought anyone could compete with Andrew Scott from Fleabag, yet here we are. Life is full 'a surprises. If you fancy a browse of my other artwork, feel free to DM me.

I just watched it and can't believe this didn't get made. Even if it wasn't a spin off of King of the Hill, I'd still watch this. Anyone else watch it?
Is an absolute nightmare. I live near there and navigating the lanes during heavy traffic feels driving in a country without traffic rules or lights. And if youβre a pedestrian trying to cross, forget about it, there are going to be fatalities from this lousy planning.
Are there any plans to make the routes any more manageable by the city?
Iβve rewatched and it just struck me as odd that none of the older members of the community recognized him immediately as a younger version of himself. I would imagine they all grew up together and they would know that he looks exactly like himself 40 years ago. Not a plothole or anything, but just struck me as odd
LONG TIME PASTOR PROTECTED CHILD PREDATORS
Lake Charles, LA - Monsignor Irving DeBlanc was a well known, beloved priest who served as pastor of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church from 1961 to 1992.
Awards, buildings, classrooms, scholarships and streets are named for him and Monsignor DeBlanc is buried in a prominent place in front of the church he led.
Each year as pastor he celebrated his birthday by buying hundreds of Hershey candy bars and giving them to all of the students, teachers, and staff at the adjacent Our Lady Queen of Heaven School for pre-K through 8th grade students. The celebration has continued each year long after his retirement and many years after his death.
Four priests assigned to Our Lady Queen of Heaven during his tenure were credibly accused of child sexual abuse and documents uncovered in two criminal investigations show that Monsignor DeBlanc was aware.
Father Gerard Smit, Father Richard Chachere, Father Keith Potier, and Father Mark Broussard were all named on lists of priests credibly accused of abuse released in 2019.
A woman told The Acadiana Advocate newspaper that she was abused by Father Gerard Smit while she was student at Our Lady Queen of Heaven school in the mid 1960's. Her father learned of the abuse and informed the pastor Monsignor Irving DeBlanc. Father Smit was then transferred to another church.
In 1986 when she learned as an adult that Father Smit was still serving as a priest in the Diocese of Lake Charles she informed Monsignor Harry Greig that she and others had been abused by Father Smit as students at Our Lady Queen of Heaven.
This time Father Smit was sent to a church owned treatment center for priests in New Mexico. The Diocese states it first received complaints about Father Smit in 2002 but documents in his personnel file coincide with the woman's claims.
Although the church has also received complaints of abuse by Father Smit from numerous other assignments he has never been criminally charged and is now in his nineties and a retired priest of the Diocese of Lake Charles.
. . .
Documents from his personnel file reveal while serving at Our Lady Queen of Heaven in his first assignment as a priest Father Mark Broussard informed the Diocese in 1988 that he had abused children. Father Broussard was sent to the same church owned treatment center for priests in New Mexico.
While there Monsignor DeBlanc wrote Father Broussard a letter of encouragement stating:
Dear Mark,
Hope all is well! This mor

This is a very pernickety question, but how do we think that Monsignor Pruitt got back from the Holy Land and into the US? Father Paul is 50 - 60 years younger than his older self, and would look nothing like the photo of Monsignor Pruitt is his passport (not to mention that he would look nothing like a person with the date of birth that would be indicated in the passport).
I realise that this question is extremely βfiddlyβ, and entirely tangential to the themes etc of the show. But it really bothered me because I couldnβt think of any way that John / Paul could have returned to the US (especially from the Middle East).
He wasn't a full vampire yet, so he couldn't be sick from the transformation. So what was making him sick then?
Cause when we see Monsignor Pruitt being manipulated and his has a very charismatic face we seem to give him a pass and blame it all on the vampire? Duality, free will, religion what is it about Monsignor Pruitt that makes us forgive him from being the villain is like we watch a small community destroyed each other on the most horrific ways and there's no one to blame, only people we can relate and empathise with some of them, cause aside from Bev there was only good people including Monsignor Pruitt makes me wonder.....
I'm confused on these two character's stories. They both seem to fill the same role and I remember that when Marx showed up they said something about Korecki going away. I kind of assumed that the actor was leaving and they were just writing him out. But now Korecki is back and I don't remember anything being said about Marx leaving.
Did I miss something? Was this just that Boris McGiver (Korecki) was on a break from the show and is back now, is there something deeper, or they just wanted two characters that fill the same role?
Were there signs throughout the season about Sarah being the Monsignorβs daughter? I know the line where she says she always felt her watching her wasnβt actually because he thought she was a lesbian but because she was his daughter, but was there anything else?
I didnβt quite buy that he brought the vampire demon thing just so that he could make Sarahβs mom his lover and immortal like him. He didnβt strike me as particularly selfish (even though I thought he definitely wasnβt as pious as he presented himself).
This felt like a sudden reveal to me and I was just wondering if there were clues I missed
When Monsignor dies it looks like he ingested the poison that Beverly gave to Joe's dog and the others later at the final mass.
At some point I came to think Beverly poisoned him, but that doesn't make any sense... Does it? I'm just confused about why he died in the first place, and there isn't an actual explanation about it in the show. π€·πΌββοΈ
