This is not a writing on pro vs anti racing. This is about the breed, it’s habits, limitations, & the like.

Greyhounds aren’t like other dogs. Besides being a purpose bred dog, they are also one of the most genetically diverse breeds of K9 out there. They are bread for keen-ness (adaptability under intense situations), intelligence, speed, stamina, decision making ability, and temperament among other things. They love to run. If you have never seen a greyhound in flight in the flesh, you are missing out on seeing pure joy. They love to run. They also love to sleep.

They have hair, not fur & skin not hide. Their skin is much thinner than ours, meaning that they get cold easily. My Jenny was whelped In Canada. She spent a full year with her litter mates and broody before coming to the states. I don’t know her history after that until I got her 7 years ago.

I can say for sure that she had never seen a dog breed other than a greyhound until that time. In the 7 years I’ve had her she’s approached all breed with a bit of fear and a lot of suspicion. And justifiably so, we were attacked by an off leash Yorkie devil. Terrified my Jenny to death. She’s s lover not a fighter.

Being a Canadian girl, she doesn’t get cold as much as any other greyhound I’ve ever had. She absolutely HATES wearing sweaters or jackets. She fights me putting them on. She sulks openly in front of me practically demanding I remove them.

But, she is over 10, and that is a senior citizen of the greyhound world. As she’s got older, her bravery has failed a bit. Greyhounds do best in pairs, and her buddy Lil’ Bit passed of a pulmonary embolism a couple of years ago. To that point, Jenny had never been alone, a Singleton, as she and Lil’ Bit went everywhere together. As Lil’ Bit was terrified of everything (seriously, everything. It took her a year to not be so frightened she’d piddle when ever the ice machine would dump new ice), they went to the vet together and the back yard. Jenny was the confident female. Lil’ Bit didn’t have a confident bone in Her body. She was once frightened by her shadow, which was both sad and funny.

So today has been part of a 2 day Jenny drama. Recently she has become terrified of rain. Not just rain. If the sky gets dark like it’s going to rain she shakes in terror. And it ferocity of her fear is getting exponentially worse. Yesterday thunderstorms went they and I spent 1/2 the night sleeping with her in her own bed and paper spent the older half

I tried searching for a site that had the info of random encounters that replaced the regular shops/chests in Path of Champions, couldn't find it anywhere. So I began grabbing the info of all the random shops, which I was regularly upgrading to have even more types of info so I'm close to finishing all data. Please excuse my formatting, as I'm limited by plain text.

This is all the info I've collected over 30+ runs, so I'm still missing some info (like the power that deal 1 to the enemy nexus when you cast a spell or most landmark items). Any info that I'm missing or is wrong would be appreciated.

Ok so I'm a jungle main, support secondary in low elo and I really only play draft pick. Haven't touched ranked since gwen was released. I'm writing this to get people to understand the amazing world that is support. Now, onto the topic.

Support is usually completely overlooked as a role because you usually aren't the carry of the team, or the one with most damage or sometimes with NO damage. In fact, I read somewhere it's the least picked role(correct me if I'm wrong) . However, support is so much fun mentally, you don't have to worry about kills or the sort, just the map, vision and what your champion's role is. Obviously, there are damage champions, but I'm talking more about the hard supports like Rakan or Thresh or Braum. In lane, you don't have to worry about CS'ing or anything with 2 other people. You just have to stand there... Menacingly. Sure, you have to poke and engage and hit the minions for the execution money, but it's not ESSENTIAL to get gold. The majority of your job is to be the personification of "mess around and find out".

Mental: As previously mentioned, no worries about CS or kills, just assists and knowing when to go in and when to back off. This way, support requires a LOT of map and champion awareness and game knowledge so it's not like it's easy either. Your main job as a SUPPORT is to HELP people. You are tanking for them, peeling for them, engaging for them and giving them vision. Your job is as important as getting kills especially since you are probably the only one who will buy a goddamn pink ward. If you always wanted to help someone or like to see other people happy, play support well and you will drown in praises. Obviously this also means not being an arse yourself, but you can manage that right?

Underrated: I'll make this topic clear by giving two examples of games I had.

Example one: Rakan and AFK Bot lane. I was playing Rakan and bot decided to leave. Not like they were playing bad or we were losing lane, just got dc'd. So I'm alone under turret and think goddamn tf do I do. So I decided to go the other route and fulfill my role as the support for the team. I went all over the map and assisted objectives and kills for the other three people. I bought control wards and helped my other carries secure kills. I got like 30 assists that game. This was only my third game on Rakan, but after landing a 5 man charm, we won a crucial teamfight and stomped them. I only f

Malphite/Alistar/Rammus - jumpy tank bois, when played good they are the true carries of the team. Real fun to play if you like going all in

Sona/Soraka - healer babes, having them on the team is like having a walking spawn fountain

Leona - the queen of CC

Lulu/Braum/Janna/Nami - these ones will sacrifice them self to shield and save your ass (at least that's how I think they should be played) while also doing decent damage

Seraphine - yuck, she's the true evil. don't play her, good ult tho

Lux - honestly just a hot babe with tons of pretty skins, no reason to play her besides looking good on the map

Morgana - longest root in the game, hit or miss champ imo

Galio/Gragas - AP bois who perform amazing even when played as tanks, 10/10 for dad bods

Fiora/Irelia/Riven - sword babes you don't wanna be alone with, hot but deadly

Garen/Master Yi/Xin Zhao/Yasuo/Jarvan IV - sword bois, annoying but you'll want them on your team

Ezreal - only people who like Ez are Zoe and himself, enough said

Olaf/Tryndamere/Renekton/Darius - one is truly immortal, the other ones just won't die. When you see them, RUN

Jax - you don't wanna imagine what he could do to you if he had a real weapon

Nasus - stack boi, you won't be aware he exist until he finally leaves Baron lane at 20 min mark and bonks both teams, good doggo

Rakan & Xayah - these should be played together, you're a sinner if you pick one and the other one isn't there

Lucian & Senna - ye, Lucian might wanna divorce Senna 'cause she can and will beat his ass, both very good on their own

Miss Fortune/Caitlyn - hot babes with guns, what more can you ask for

Blitzcrank - hook boi, ban him

Akshan/Camille - I like to call them swingers. Very different playstyles but both equally good

Annie - assassins fear her little bear toy, also very annoying

Ashe - a true marksman support (Senna ain't got nothing on her), best ult in game imo

Katarina/Akali - so hot you'll wanna be assassinated by them. Penta queens

Teemo - shroom boi, everyone hates him for a reason. Very cute, instant ban tho

Singed - you never wanna chase this guy, just let him run around and spread his toxicity. All you can do is hope he'll eventually die from it

Kha'zix/Rengar - they hate each other as much as you'll hate playing against them. Don't go near bushes if you don't have a deat

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
