A list of puns related to "Hebron"
Like the title says, I just received an offer for an AM position. I have some management experience through the military, but still nervous about the role since this will be my first job post graduation if I accept the offer. So below are questions I have regarding the AM position.
What is something you feel most new AMโs struggle with when they start the job?
What separates the bad AMโs, the average AMโs, and the AMโs that perform well and find a lot of success in the role?
Is it true that the hours are usually around 8-10 then bumped ups to 11-15 during peak?
How well will the military style of leadership translate to working with civilians? Will I have a chance to really get to know and mentor the people Iโm working with or is my job really just ensuring we meet the performance metrics set for the area and playing on my laptop?
Dec. 31, 1997: Jerusalem District Court Judge Zvi Segal convicted Soskin of committing a racist act, supporting a terrorist organization, attempting to give religious offense, and attempted vandalism.
She cried as Segal read for over an hour from his 63-page judgment. He rejected defense arguments that about her being emotionally disturbed, ruling that she had acted with cool calculation, aware of the consequences of her acts. "The harm caused in this case is wide and offends all members of the Islamic faith." She acted out of a "patently racist motive" and with "clear intent" to provoke hatred and violence. Freedom of expression does not extend to displaying the posters in a Muslim neighborhood.
July 8, 1998 update: Soskin appealed to Israel's High Court and her case was heard on March 30, 1998; the verdict was handed down today. In brief, Supreme Court Justice Theodor Or rejected her arguments in their totality. First he ruled that "a position whereby every expression that has the potential to offend religious sensitivities will be considered a crime according to this law undermines the basic right to freedom of expression." But then he went on to apply a ban on offending religious sensitivities, saying that Soskin's actions caused damage to the "interests of the members of that particular religion as a whole, as opposed to damage to the religious sensitivities of a given individual or another," and so deserved punishment.
This is article from the Times of Israel but I also saw it on several media sites. There have just been too many incidents of Israeli settlers, frequently armed, attacking Palestinians just going about their daily life.
This time in Hebron they injured a sleeping child with a rock. Unfortunately, many times the IDF stands by and watches as the destruction of property and attack on the elderly take place without intervening to stop it and not arresting the settlers for the disturbance.
Yearly at this olive harvest time, settlers attack farmers and keep them from going to their olive groves to harvest their livelihood. It is also a yearly occurrence that they will burn the olive trees in hopes the Palestinians will give up.
I donโt know why the IDF doesnโt put a stop to the settler violence or at least control their weapons. The Farmers hate for the occupation only intensified when their fields are burned and animals are killed. In this instance it was an area of Hebron that had Shepards. The settlers even killed all the sheep they came across.
Why donโt the Israelis speak up about the settler violence? How is there ever going to be peace with a return to a calm if this continues.
Why do settlers need guns when the locals have no more than rocks. It is stories in the news like this all over the US that is keeping people from visiting the cradle of their religion based on the God of Abraham be they Jewish, Christian, Muslim, or orthodox. This is loss of tourist money and develops hatred for the entire situation. This is why you see so many Jews in the US who love Judaism but dislike the country.

I heard it from a friend who is very invested in this sort of stuff and I was curious into if this was true if itโs not then thatโs good for that bandโs reputation, but it definitely confused me that they decided not to go to nationals I can understand that it could be due to money but idk I just want to clear this up for me
I just saw them perform at UIL State prelims and they are my new favorite, wondering if anyone has a high quality video of one of their performances
