A list of puns related to "Lcr"
Thoughts on the LCR especially the 9mm version? Open the the 38 as well but I have tons of 9 so
Hey All,
I appreciate you looking and seeing if you have any advice I can use.
I just got my sub setup and I'm trying to figure out what I can do to get the very most out of my new set up. I have tried to find some way to make sure that everything is set up in the best way possible but am confused about almost everything.
I have included pictures so that you can see specific speaker placement. The only other place I might be able to fit the sub is under the corner table right next to where I sit or underneath a LR speaker with the stand on top (seems like a bad idea)
##Room Size
15 ft x 12 ft
https://imgur.com/a/0WlBc6d
##The nobs on the subwoofer are set as such:
Volume 50% (per audessey suggestion)
Phase at zero
Crossover at max
##Setting in my AVR as follows:
(only slightly changed LCR from audessey as I wanted to bump the center for dialog and not blow out the seating arrangement with right speaker)
Subwoofer Level: -4.5dB
Left Level: + 2.5dB
Center Level: +3.0dB
Right Level: +2.0 dB
Multi Eq: Reference
Dynamic Eq: On
Dynamic Volume: Off
Front and Center Size: Small
Distances from Speaker: LCR seem about right, but the sub is at 11 ft even though it is the closest speaker to me (probably because it's behind couch from where I sit.
Crossover: Audessey set it to 40hz, I changed it to 100Hz as I'm trying to get more out of the Micca OoO as they don't do low very well.
Subwoofer Mode: LFE
LPF for LFE: 130 Hz
Volume range I listen at:
Early Morning: -39.0dB
Regular Watching: -25.0dB
Movies: 0.0 dB
Are there any other relevant setting I should be paying attention to?
##Current Issues:
I have no idea what I'm supposed to be listening for, anybody have any tutorials to train your ear for problems or a reference point for how things are "supposed" to sound?
Speech in movies (no where else I've found yet) seems a little muddy or bassy which makes it harder to understand dialog, though it's miles better than the old soundbar.
I am very occasionally hearing what I think is cone noise during certain scenes (not loud bassy scenes but more normal dialog stuff)
The bass doesn't seem to hit very hard or "fill the room" and I don't feel any room pressurization. It seems like my old soundbar sub system would fill the room with bass a bit better (though with low quality, crappy boomy bass with a ton of cone noise)
##Goal:
To get the most out of my current equipment and stop worrying that I'm missing something simple and obvious
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hey guys, I'm sorry if this is a bit of a dumb question but I'm new to the revolver world. I've always carried semi-autos however after shooting some .38 and 357 with a friend recently and doing some research on the upsides of carrying a revolver I've decided I would like to get one. I carry AIWB currently however I would maybe like to try out pocket carry for deep concealment situations. I'm just struggling to decide on what would be best. I've always been pretty unforgiving towards Taurus as I'm well aware of their spotty track record, but I've heard that their revolvers aren't all that bad. I haven't shot a J frame yet. I would like to get an SP101 or even a GP100 but they seem impossible to find right now at a reasonable price. What's everyone's thoughts? Any bad or good experiences with either one? Some advice on which would be better for certain scenarios? Thanks so much. Any other recommendations are greatly appreciated as well!
being honest with myself I know that part of the reason why I bought some is to have a ticker to watch on evenings and weekends when GME is not moving. ETH and BTC were getting too predictableβ¦lol
buy and hodl!
no financial advise
I own a decent amount if LCR. Am I able to stake my LCR? I plan on holding it so I might aswell get interest from it. So is there something better than CB to move into?
I just bought a pair of LS50 Metas. Starting the audition process, but if I like them, I will be replacing my B&W 5 channel system with KEFs all around. My plan would be to buy another single LS50 meta for the center, but don't think it's worth the premium to buy LS50's for the surround channels.
The Q150's are on sale now. Would those be a good choice? I will have to wall mount them. What would I be sacrificing, if anything, knowing that most of the surround channel information is ambient, and therefore does not require a premium speaker. I'm more interested in timbre match.
FYI: I'm running a Denon X3700h as a preamp out to a 5x200w Rotel amp. I also have two SVS PC2000 Pro cylinder subs and four SVS Prime Elevation Atmos speakers.
Questioning my panning method and could use some insight. I tend to really try and spread everything out. For example, Iβll pan something at L10, L, 20, L30, and so on - my songs tend to be dense with a lot of instruments, so I try to give each one itβs own space. Iβve been told, though, that these differences donβt really matter that much or make that much space, and I might as well just go the LCR route. I throw main vocals bass kick etc. down the middle usually as is standard, but I donβt hard pan that much expect for fix sends.

I hadn't listened to this record on headphones until recently and I couldn't help but think it sounds like it was mixed LCR. I don't usually mix LCR opting for use M/S to get the spread I like while keeping bass managed, but I love the sound of this and wanna listen to more music mixed LCR to get a better feel for that style.
So what are your LCR album recommendations and thoughts on LCR mixing in general?
I saw a video claiming that the Ruger got more velocity out of a given .22 round than the S&W even though the barrel lengths are the same. The problem is, the person measured the Ruger velocity but was taking the S&W figures from someone else. This raises all the βnot the same conditionsβ or testing methods issues.
I know a bunch of issues could lead the a difference in velocity out of a similar length barrel (rifling, forcing cone, distance from cylinder, etc) even if all the other conditions are fixed (atmospheric conditions, testing methods, etc).
My question is, has anyone tested the two side by side (Ruger LCR .23 and Smith & Wesson 43C) and determined if there is a significant differenceβ100 FPS or more)?
Now squeeze your tits and hold, motherfu
I'm thinking about buying a 9mm revolver. I have found a few of these. Do any of you have any experience with them?
