I honestly have no idea what to even say. At first the studies in St.Lucia didn't seem like much but this absolute horror.

Satoko is gonna break. I still don't forgive the Sotsu Satoko for making Rika go through crap because of studies but in my opinion I can forgive Meguri Satoko even if she made Rika go through that because of studies. Look at that poor thing. St.Lucia study environment is seriously toxic.

I’m afraid that widespread hatred from outside the province towards a leader does not mean the leader must be removed. As much as I dislike Koro’s policies, they won in the polls, so unless they do something illegal, they cannot be removed, nor will I support military action to do so.

3 player game, I was riding high then the other two players bought cafes and upgraded the supermarket

Then i rolled 3s for 3 turns in a row.

Any money I had or I made was going away as I was paying out at least 6 coins a turn. I couldn't counter adjust as I just had no money.

Really left a sour taste in my mouth as it happened to me two games in a row and so I could not even take a turn.

I congratulate Koro on their victory in Purple and will begin making arrangements for a transfer of power.

The Purple light defense fleet (made up of torpedo boats, corvettes, smaller frigates, and gunboats) will be transferred to my direct control, but the larger frigates, destroyers, cruisers, and capital ships will remain the property of the Purple Government.

I want to build Ta-koro in lego for a lego convention, and want to include some important locations, but got a little stuck with some details. I've read that MNOG is not fully canon, and also that Bionicle wiki is not the best source, but they have a lot of stuff to work with. But I still ended up with some challenges. First it seems like MNOG and MNOG2 does not agree with where Jaller's hut is (Mask of Light don't show it). Next, is the place where Takua finds the mask under or behind the Wall of History? It almost seems like Jaller is going through that hall to get to the place in the movie. Also it seems like the Suva is placed more in the middle of the village in the movie. Is there something else important that I have missed?

Some ideas would be great!

I am looking to purchase Machi Koro to play with my significant other (so, 2 players only). We're just starting to get into board & card games. I'm hoping for something that's competitive, interesting, has a few hours (~ 3+) play time each round. I like the Asian aesthetic to Machi Koro, as well.

I was initially planning on getting the legacy, because it seemed like the most interesting with different games to progress through. But after reading some old reviews on this sub, I'm not so sure anymore...

Would be interested in players recommendations - 5th edition, Legacy, or Machi Koro 2?
Also - I've heard that you can implement rules to make the gameplay more interesting/fair. Are these applicable to Legacy? Many thanks!!

My family loves Machi Koro with the Harbor Expansion. For Christmas I was gifted the expansion set with both the Harbor and Millionaire’s Row since it wasn’t sold by itself. I think based off of the names of the cards and the wiki that it was the fifth anniversary edition? Anyways it was disappointing to find that they had changed the size of the cards which made it a bit strange to play. But mostly, although I remember some very cool cards like the loan office, tech startup, moving company, and park, I was largely disappointed as the game played very long, slow, frustrating, and not particularly fun. Additionally very little was explained on the one page of rules and I found myself googling questions about many of the new cards. I was wondering what your guys’ experience was and if we just played it in the wrong way to be fun and also if you know why they changed the size of the cards.Any response is greatly appreciated!

The class has 3 months to eliminate superman with kryptonite weapons (that don't weaken him like most versions but it can kill him) can they do it?
