A list of puns related to "Keg"
DISCLAIMER: This post is for the LULS, because we all know none of it is actually serious and my crew had a hard time breathing through the laughter.
Imagine being sunk at Fort of the Damned, only to flame over PMs, threaten a lawsuit, threaten to dox, and then impersonate a Rare Developer / Microsoft employee. This title is not a joke or an exaggeration. This person had "Rare Dev Team" in their title on their Xbox profile (it's since then be removed). Their Xbox name will not be included in this post.
"I'm filing a lawsuit, kid. You just lost $100,000."
Now for the context. Last night, I hopped onto SoT to find some action for me and my mates from Australia, and we were lucky enough to find an active Fort of the Damned. Taking a look at the map, we saw four Reapers Bounties shown at the fort, so we safely and correctly assumed it was being stacked.
My crew has started FOTD before in effort to get some PvP action in game, but rarely have we intervened with an ongoing one. So, this was our chance for some fun sneaks and a steal.
The galleon crew had four mega kegs from their first stack in their captains quarters, so I grabbed each one and placed them in the back, front, and middle of their bottom deck. While placing the very last one, one of the other crew caught me in the act, so I went for a sacrifice play and detonated the kegs. Everything goes off (keg pun) just fine, and they sank in about 14 seconds. Our ship was parked close by with a teammate still on it, so we brought the ship over, grabbed the first stack loot, finished the boss off a few more hits and grabbed all the loot in the vault.
While we're grabbing the first stack of fort loot, I get an Xbox party invite from the other player who caught me planting the kegs, and so does my crewmate. We both assume it's only to talk smack, so we ignore it, and then we both get Xbox messages. We received messages from the same guy - threatening to sue us for "online terrorism and 2nd degree murder." From his claims, and this is verbatim: "For giving my buddy a stroke. He has PTSD, and it was caused by your stressful encounter, virtual or not, you're still responsible." He continued to say that he would "file a report with the authorities", stated I was not covered under EULA clauses regarding medical disclaimers, threatened to dox my friend, and then stated he was "covered under 1st Amendment." After letting him know I would file a report with SoT support

I would describe them similar to Dick's but more focused on their core selling points, they aren't spending money making their stores look like a extravegent mall. I have been too ASO many times and overall enjoy their store & from my personal experience they have been consistently busy this past year and the days ammo arrives there is always a line around the building at 7 am of people trying to get some before they sell out.
ASO IPO'd in October of 2020. ASO is a fundamentally undervalued stock. Last week they absolutely smashed earnings by doubling EPS. Estimated was .46 and actual was 1.09 Their revenue increased as well. Their net sales increased 18% over last year. They have a market cap of 2.63 B and trade at a P/E of 7.66 as compared to Dick's which trades at a P/E of 13.85. As you can see this stock is criminally undervalued as compareded to its peers. IPO lockup period ended on 3/31 which caused a negative dip on open that day but the stock finished postive on the day as there was not a mass sell off as shorters of the stock had hoped for.
The stock has been shorted from the start because I believe it was just lumped into the typical brick & mortar category and will just assumed would bleed out due to online shopping. This was a grave miscalculation as ASO provides a niche varitey of products that the online space is not fulfiilling adequetly & their top compeitor Dicks has been backing out of like guns and ammo. They have a current short interest of 39% with a public float of 31 M. The stock currently is at a all time high of $29, that means every single instution that shorted this stock is negative now and they have 9 days to cover their positions. With some more volume and upward pressure in this stock and we could see a squeeze similair to the one that happened with RKT. I don't see this stock tripling or anything of the scale that GME had but I do see a substaintial price increase soon if the right factors materialize.
Open interest for 4/16 30 strike calls are huge and if the volume comes in and pushes the stock up we could be looking at quite the squeeze for this bad boy.
TLDR: ASO is a fundamentally undervalued stock that is currently trading at a ATH with high short interest which makes it prime for a squeeze.
Positions: (9) 4/16 30 strike & (2) 4/16 25 strike calls

At that time my company worked with a rewards vendor I will call Bigger Rewards. They were a little clunky, had a relatively limited selection, but very reliable. Things didn't break very often.
Then one day an communique went out that we were migrating away from them to a company I will call Bungles. They were supposedly a lot more flexible, an "internet native," offered a very appealing website that was intuitive to use, etc etc.
So we migrated over. Shortly after the migration I heard how their pitch meeting went. Bungles had some issues with their deck during the pitch, but they fixed those fairly quickly. The site also had some technical issues, but they explained those away. They also admitted that we would be one of their first clients and that their company was relatively new. They characterized themselves as a "startup" that was internet built from the ground up, lotsa buzzwords, etc.
The technical folk were unimpressed. The company seemed young and immature. The business folks were also not impressed due to the flubs before and during their presentation. They weren't polished and didn't seem ready for a big contract like ours.
Then Bungles mentioned their cost. Which was easily well under half of Big Rewards. And the website was actually quite appealing with a bigger selection than Big Rewards. And they did seem hungry for the business and were clearly full of hustle. And this internet thing did seem to be taking off. So management decided to give them our business. We switched over. I think the reasoning was "how bad can it be for more than half off?"
I and a few others were put in charge of supporting the product post migration. We concluded rather quickly that the training from Bungles and all their available documentation was worthless. It was almost always inadequate or misleading. So I spent the next 4-6 months accumulating an internal library of tips and tricks and troubleshooting guides.
We needed it as things were constantly breaking or behaving in unexpected ways. What particularly drove us mad were moments we began referring to as "The Lady Vanishes." We would see an error or some kind of flaw and report it to Bungles support. They would turn right a

So here's what I came up with:
So if you start by purging the emtpy, sanitized keg so it's full of CO2, then connect up the hoses, gravity will cause the beer to drain into the keg, which displaces the gas, which goes up the tube and fills the space in the fermenter. A perfect, closed loop.
Bonus Tip: When purging the keg with CO2, leave a bit of pressure in there. Then when connecting the gas hose, connect the keg side first so it blows the air out of the hose, then connect the other side to the fermenter.
I tried this system for the first time last weekend and couldn't believe how simple and clean it is.
I know commercial high-volume keg systems (think sports arenas where they pour tons of beer) will sometimes daisy chain kegs so they can basically get a continuous pour, even through keg changes. Similar to this, but I can't find the actual stadium diagrams that I found years ago.
So this is an idea I've had for years now, but I've never done it, was curious if anyone here has:
The idea is to have two beers that complement each other, similar to some places in Europe where the brewery makes a pale lager and a dark lager, and their third beer is just the blend (not technically a Black and Tan, as the beers are mixed, not stratified). So, your first keg is beer 1, and it slowly gets blended with beer 2 as the beer gets drunk.
Anyone done this or similar? Maybe with a Pale ale and IPA, or two IPAs, or Porter and Stout, or two sours, or IPA and Barleywine, or Porter and Barleywine, or Dunkel and Doppelbock, etc...
So i had collected 8000 coins/gold for upcoming expansions and was very happy about the fact that i was not giving into my impulse of buying the kegs. Last night i was messing around the store and was like "oh lets see how many kegs can i get" and hit clicked a random keg (which was SK) and saw i have like 82 kegs if i purchase, i was happy and instead of going next i clicked the purchase button and BOOM! 17 coins and like 87 kegs :'(
And on top of that i opened like 40 of them, hoping to get a premium card and i got 5 premium cards :v
I'm sure someone here has experienced the same :v
I needed to empty some kegs for new beers and with my cellar full I was in no mood for bottling an odd few beers. Instead of dumping the beer, or downing maybe ten pints on a weekday I had an odd lapse in judgement and got my keg transfer kit and ended up combining the last pints of a saison, mild rye neipa and a pale ale. I think I'll let it sit until Friday and I'll report back with tasting notes.
Anyone else done/doing this?
This beer might be ruined. Just filled up a 1 gallon jar with 99% foam π¬

Are they trying to drive business away from market of Asia? Building in that location and moving from clarance?
I never really thought too much about this. Always assumed a clean, sanitized, pressurized keg was good to go. Iβm hearing from others that they donβt like to keep them more than a few days, others say a couple weeks. Seems to me that a keg you donβt trust farther than you can throw it is going to spoil beer when you fill it. Interested in some perspective here
