There has to be some irony in being a bourbon/ American whisky fan and living in the motherland of Irish whiskey.. pay a lot more than I should for a lot of these bottles due to import. I don't dislike irish whiskey but bourbons have a certain quality to them I just can't find in irish/scotch

Does anyone know which distillery Malloye Irish whisky is from?
Malloye is my favorite cheap irish whisky and I was hoping to learn more about it. I can't find anything online about the distillery or where in Ireland it comes from. Any information would be appreciated.

Good, commonly available Irish whisky?
I have a little too much scotch, I'm growing my Canadian collection and starting to warm up to rye, I'm not the fondest of bourbon but I have my "go-too"s. I'm having issues finding a good Irish whisky or Irish whisky that isn't the usual Jameson, red breasts 12 or Bushmills. I find they lack character or personality, they are like drinking a slightly deluded shot you poured and forgot about for a couple hours. I wish it was a little stronger or more impact? Flavors? Complexity? Is there a bottle you guys would recommend? I don't want to exclude a region just because some of the whisky was underwhelming to me, I want to see what it can offer! Thanks in advance!
I'll put some of my favorites here for an idea of what I like and if an Irish can match, surpass or give a different experience that isn't mild and boring to my tastes?

Infinity bottles; I'm currently fixated on Irish and Bourbon whisky. Should they go in the same infinity bottle, or stay in seperate ones? And where does scotch fit in the mix?
Hi gang! So I kinda drift in and out of phases. Right now I'm exciting my bourbon phase, and entering an Irish whisky phase. My next scotch phase is probably gonna kick me in the shins pretty soon after that.
I'm also currently really interested in the idea of an infinity bottle. I'm wondering if my Irish and bourbon should go in the same bottle, or if I should start seperate infinity bottles for them? And when I finally go back to scotch, should that go in a 3rd bottle, or would it be able to mix into one of the other two without totally overpowering it?
I promise to report back in a month or so when the bottles are decent.

Folky/Irish/Scottish song used in commercial for the Lagavulin Whisky brand with Nick Offerman.
Hi,
Does anyone know the song used in this Lagavulin commercial, starring Nick Offerman.
The song starts at low volume at mark 00:11s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebUT7-tRE8s&t=11s
The volume and song both pick up at mark 00:40s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebUT7-tRE8s&t=40s
I've used Shazam etc, to no avail. Maybe it is something made to measure and it might not be publically available?
Thanks everyone!

Bourbon fan - looking for Irish Whisky recs
As the title suggests, Iβm a bourbon fan mostly (enjoy the caramel/vanilla undertones of the spirit), but would like to try some good Irish whisky - St. Patrickβs Day is approaching - and i know more options exist than just Jameson. Any bourbon drinkers have any good recommendations for Irish whiskies they enjoy?
Always appreciate this subs opinion; thanks in advance.
