Where was the PAW Patrol during the Iran Hostage Crisis?

As far as we know the PAW Patrol has the capabilities of international travel and possible covert operation capabilities. However, the PAW Patrol failed to assist in any way during the Iran Hostage Crisis of 1979, which is unacceptable seeing as the US diplomats were hostages from November 4, 1979, to January 20, 1981. Could it be that the PAW Patrol is run by Islamic extremist that utilize PAW Patrol to increase positive images of the extremist, while also taking money from the UN? Or that the PAW Patrol is US run, and was told by the CIA to not intervene with the hostage crisis? If it is the former, why so? Could the Iran Hostage Crisis be a hoax, used to crack down on Iran for bringing down the monarchy that was ruling Iran, made possible by a coup from the US and UK?

Where was the PAW Patrol during the Iran Hostage Crisis? (PART 2)

Part 1

Okay, I’ll bite on this craziness. First, Ryder wasn’t even born until after 9/11. The PP simply wasn’t around to intervene in the earlier conflicts - they missed 9/11, missed the Iran hostages, missed the Tet Offensive, missed the battle of Charleston in 1780...

However, I believe there is a rational connection that can be made which shines light on the virtues of the Paw Patrol ancestry. While it could be debatable, I believe that Ryder and crew are actually Canadian, perhaps from the Vancouver, BC area. It is well known that a group of Canadian diplomats harbored several Americans who escaped from the US embassy in Iran (see Argo, et al). While not featured prominently in media from the time, there is some evidence of a young boy and girl, along with several street dogs, helping to facilitate the aid. Studies from Ancestry.com suggest these young kids emigrated to Canada through London in the early 80s. These were, in fact, Ryder’s grandparents. Documentation is sparse and uncertain, but a case can be made that their legacy not only led to Ryder’s birth and affinities for pups, but also provided the wealth that Ryder would inherit upon the untimely death of his parents.

At least, that’s one possible explanation.

What else could Iran have done in Iranian Hostage Crisis

All hypotheticals are acceptable and encouraged:

I am doing a Model UN Crisis Committee where I am the Iranian leader, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, at the time of the Iranian Hostage Crisis. My current strategy is to come to a compromise with Iraq about the khūzestān so that way I can get Soviet support (the USSR would not support me if I was fighting with Iraq). It is the Cold War, so it is plausible that I could get the USSR to join me in a fight against America. I would get the USSR to publicly refer to Iran as an ally (this would greatly complicate the West's approach to negotiations). With Soviet aid, I could last longer under American embargos and taxes, and could ultimately negotiate for more gain overall.

What effect would killing 1 hostage per month negotiations went on have? Would the US go to war with Iran if Iran had Soviet backing? The US would also be tired after Vietnam, so that might change their response.

What other approaches could I take to the issue? What do you think Iran could have done better? What changes should I make to the approach I am currently considering?

Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated!

What was the Iran hostage crisis really like?

I’ve researched the hostage situation a lot, and I see different information about nearly everything. I don’t regard the US at that time as some benevolent, heroic country. I know what they did. What I want to know is what was Iran society like at this time? I read that the Iranian chaperones of the two female hostages were shocked they couldn’t convince the women that they (the women) were degraded by American society. What does this mean? What was women’s position like in Iran at this time and currently?

I watched Argo with my mom, who commented that the time during the hostage crisis was so scary. Taking hostages is a bad thing, but I’ve heard they were treated well, released if needed, and so on. I’ve also heard they were beaten and tied up. At the time, it must’ve been terrifying. But, after reading up on it, I don’t fully know what her comment means. Solely based on what I’ve read, I don’t see Iran as this big, bad country. Again, I’ve read different stuff, and I tend to lean towards the side of believing America to be not what it claims to be because it isn’tβ€”most of the time.

Iran did want democracy. That was their mission, unless I’m mistake. Was the hostage crisis the only thing that was so, so horrifying to the American public or was there more to it?

I know, as with any historical event, nobody is a fully good guy or bad guy. There are layers to the story. But what should a person know about the hostage crisis as a takeaway?
