Since Jimmy Carter, the inauguration of all but two US presidents has coincided with an increase in boys born with the new president's name. The exceptions were Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. [OC]

Ronald Reagan Press/Media Passes for 1981 Inauguration + Indiana Pacers' first NBA game program magazine

Gallery: https://imgur.com/a/lg6tw

Hello /r/whatisthisworth, I got this lot of items in a miscellaneous box at a thrift store. My best guess is that these were mementos that once belonged to a female Indiana Star reporter (for her privacy, I have obstructed her name on the media passes in my picture). In addition to the press passes and magazine, there were plenty of postcards, the oldest of which date back to 1928 Galveston Texas, but most seemed to be from the 80s or 90s.

In regards to the Reagan memorabilia, I see many listings of individual press items on ebay, but since I have a lot of items that are all connected to one person specifically, is there maybe more value in this collection as a whole? The only items I have some idea of the price on is the blue inaugural program in the top left, which goes for between $20-$40, and the blue Presidential Inaugural Committee Guide Book, which has sold for about $15 on ebay.

I am willing to sell any of these items, so if anyone is interested please let me know! (I didnt see any rules/guidelines against trying to sell here but if it is not allowed then sorry, I'll edit and remove this)
