I cant for the life of me remember anything about this. Not sure if it’s a cartoon, toy-line, or a comic, i’ve seen it many times before. He’s just a boy and I wanna say he’s illustrated flying often? Please someone help me remember what the hell this is so that it will leave my brain
Platform: Mobile, perhaps only iOS
Genre: I guess it’s side scroller, but my best description is that it it had the same mechanics as flappy bird
Est. Year of release: 2013? no later than 2015. It would have been older than flappy bird I believe.
Art style: sketchbook-y. Little to no colour. The background you would scroll past was a series of sketches of random things (I remember a unicorn and women in bikinis as some of them, though there were many more)
Notable character(s): the character you controlled was an inkblot with I think eyes and a mouth. It may have been only eyes or only a mouth.
Gameplay mechanics: You would tap the screen to lift the inkblot up, and wait for it to fall back down again. You would do this to avoid certain things, but I don’t remember what you would be avoiding. You would collect coins which you could use to customise your character, and I believe you could buy new backgrounds/ game modes. I believe the game may have been Australian because there was an “outback” background with crocodiles and dropbears, but this is just a guess. There was also a halloween background
Other details: I remember one way you could customise the inkblot was buying a mask of one or more of the developers, though I don’t remember their names. I would guess the title had the work “ink” in it though I may be misremembering. I’d be happy to clarify anything further. Thanks for reading :)
