Does anyone here have experience getting an incomplete contract and finishing a class after the semester ends? What are the qualifications?

I am going to fail a class, but I have what I believe to be a diagnosable mental illness and I can get a diagnosis with my family doctor as soon as this week. This mental illness (depression) caused me to have a terrible semester, but for some reason I thought I could "turn it around" after the withdraw deadline so I decided to not withdraw.

Any advice?

I really need some help on something. I can't go into too much detail about this project, so I could use some help. I don't know what to do or who to turn to for help. I feel like I am screwed and my life will be ruined.

I work for an educational company in Florida that specializes in language education. Its a great job and I really enjoyed the job until the last 8 months. I worked there for going on four years and I am regarded as a quality instructor. I began to attract the attention of the CEO of the company and formed a good professional relationship ideas.

Prior to the pandemic at the start of 2020, I was invited to help contribute to design of a new program. He liked a lot of my ideas about the program and asked me to contribute to a new textbook. I immediately accepted and signed the contract after I read through it. Under the initial impression, I thought that this would be a collaborative effort with a professional I respected and that I would be allowed to take my time with it. I was only going to be compensated with royalties, but I saw this as an opportunity to put myself out there as a professional. The reward for me was that I would be able to use my success with this project to get into a good PHD program.

Boy was I wrong. At first, we worked together and designing the book. Then I was asked to research and produce the first chapter. The first chapter was a success and so I continued work. I didn't really express my concerns as I was absorbed in the work and the excitement of creating something new. But then it began to weigh down on me. I had to go to part time instruction during the summer of 2020 in order to focus on the project. I picked a part time gig tutoring. I figured at the time the pandemic would end and I would go back; I was also living at home with my parents too.

Eventually though things got worst. We received a huge pay cut in September as we continued staying online. I had to return to working full time and progress slowed to a crawl. It was around that time I began to learn more about him. Many teachers (whom I am friends with) would tell me how he would flip out in anger and threaten litigation on anyone he perceived as 'betraying him.' I heard rumors from one of our former head instructors that refused to out anyone not loyal to the company. It doesn't help that we do not have an HR department to provide legal counsel to employees.

I’ve seen some people post their stats on here and they have a violation portion at the top. Does everyone have this section, or is this an iOS/Android thing? I ask because I have had 2 “incomplete” deliveries. I’ve submitted the pictures and info, etc. Not that I am complaining, but I don’t have that section. Does it mean I technically don’t have any violations?

I am a treeworker and I have a signed contract from a customer to take down four trees that are in front of his business and grind the stumps out. After having cut down three of the trees and spiking my way up the fourth (more on this in a second) to trim off some of the major limbs, the customer has decided he likes the way the tree looks now and would like to keep it and not pay me for the initial quoted price that included the takedown and stump removal.

Here’s the issue: when you are just trimming a tree, you can’t use your spikes to climb the tree, because when you spike your way up a tree you’re essentially poking it with hundreds of deep holes for disease and rot to creep into. I climbed this tree with my spikes on, because the understanding was that the tree was coming down. If the tree is left like this, it will become very dangerous.

Now, the client has decided he wants to keep the tree I climbed up with my spikes and trimmed because “his girlfriend thinks it looks nice,” but because this tree is hanging over his business, a neighboring residence, and power lines, it is no longer safe to be left as is. I still would like to complete the job as initially agreed upon, but the client is refusing to let me do so.

I think that I will have to write a contract to transfer the liability of that tree to him for if it falls on his business, the neighboring house, or the power lines.

What other concerns should I have?

My challange was to get 7 kills or assists on heros disabled by my stun. I picked earth shaker with 5 guild members party. I counted for about 13 assist and kills. We won the game but my contract remained incomplete. This happened to me several times before with other types of contract too, like getting kills while rooted, stunning two or more hero at once, etc.

A student in a graduate seminar I'm teaching this semester has requested an incomplete contract. The student has come to the class, which has met once each week since the end of August, three times, widely spaced.

The last time was several weeks ago, well before Thanksgiving. On that occasion, the student spoke to me after class and told me about extenuating circumstances--for which I have sympathy, as they include a death in the student's immediate family--that had led to the student having turned in none of the work for the class yet. At that meeting, the student promised to start attending class and to do the work, but we never had contact again until yesterday; then came the e-mailed request for an incomplete contract, which wasn't accompanied by any work.

To summarize, this student has not meaningfully participated in or done any of the work for the class. Would it be considered harsh to not grant an incomplete? Or, on the other hand, would it be considered untoward to grant an incomplete in this situation? I've never had a student ask me for one before, but it's always been my understanding (and this school's policy says something to the effect) that incompletes should be given in cases where the student has been making a clear effort to complete the course's requirements. I thought that before deciding, though, I should consult the collected wisdom, to make sure I'm on solid ground. (I'm leaning toward "no," for what it's worth, since there's been no effort to participate in the course.)

Hi Cal Poly subreddit, I got an incomplete contract for a course in Psychology and got an email directing me to the instructions for how to accept and review the contract. The only problem is that the link to the instructions is broken and I can't see how to accept the contract through my portal. Does anyone know how to view and accept an incomplete contract through the cal poly website?

Had a landscape contractor quote a job for me. They came out and quoted the job. The sales associate (Bill) and I discussed the desired outcome. Bill typed up a quote but was not specific enough on one part of the project. I crossed out one generic phrase and wrote in the necessary specifics. I signed the marked up contract and sent out back to the contractor. The modification reflected the verbal conversion between Jeff and I.

The contract I signed and submitted was not counter signed by the landscape firm. However, they did acknowledge receipt of the signed contract and scheduled the job to be completed.

The contractor did not complete the job reflecting my modification to the contract. We now disagree on the expected outcome as the job has now been completed in line with the unsigned proposal.

From a legal perspective, would the signed contract with my written modification be more relevant/significant over the non signed contract? Welcome any thoughts from the community.

I am in the UK (England more precisely) - i have been working as a temp for a company for 6 months. They have offered me a permanent contract. The contract has a one month notice period. The pay is low but this is excused by the company as being topped up by the bonus scheme. I have no information on the bonus scheme and they are not happy to provide me with any information on it until 3 weeks into my new contract as they are changing the scheme and will not tell me what it is before they make the general announcement to everyone.

They will not allow me to work without a signed contract. As a temp I have a 1 week notice period but in the contract I have a 4 week notice period. Due to the fact I do not have information on the bonus scheme I do not want to have to work an additional month if I find out that it is very low or not achievable.

Is there any way I can sign the contract but retain my 1 week notice period or sign it under protest or something like that so that when the announcement comes about the bonus scheme I can exit quickly if I need to?

Set dark brotherhood contract quest as incomplete via console command and now I cant go back and finish it.
