If you don't fit on any language we already have, feel free to ask us to make a channel for our native tongue. We organised the server with Team Captains for each language and also people who are english native to help us with some explanations too.

What are some differences between formal textbook Hungarian and how people actually speak/write in real life?
For example, in American English (my native language) we very rarely use the full forms of “going to” or “want to” unless we’re stressing them so they become “gonna” and “wanna” respectively. At least in my part of the country they’re not even informal anymore, you’ll hear them in political speeches, at school from teachers, at the doctor’s office. However, I know that in non-English speaking countries students often learn that “gonna” and “wanna” are very informal forms and should only be used in very casual situations (though maybe that’s more so the case in Britain for example? If anyone’s British please tell me if you think gonna/wanna sounds very informal!)
Is there anything like this in Hungarian? For example a case that’s frequently substituted with another case even though the former is prescriptively correct? I think I’ve heard somewhere that the -ban/ben case is often changed to -ba/be? What are some things that textbooks teach you that natives say differently?

What do tali and tailen mean? I've heard those words in some songs but I don't know their meaning; my great-grandfather was Hungarian lovari but as far as I know he never said such words.
I've heard the second word in a Mamuko Berci's song.

Hungarian-language resources about transgender people?
So I know this is probably not the easiest thing to ask for, especially with how things are in Hungary right now. I was adopted from Hungary as a baby, and I'm about to send my form to the adoption agency, requesting to see my adoption papers, along with my letters for each of my birth parents, whom I have never spoken to.
Obviously, I (ftm) will have to explain to them what being transgender means, I wanna explain it in my letter as I would to someone who has never heard of it. I don't even know if they speak English, so I want to include Hungarian-language resources where they can learn about transgender people. I don't speak any Hungarian whatsoever, so if any of you can link good resources where they can educate themselves down below, that would be super helpful.
