Cheese π§ question. Are Red Leicester and Double Gloucester basically the same thing. Iβve bought both individually but never at the same time so have never been able to compare properly.

The cheese rolling festival is an old English festival (Pagan) of throwing a round of double Gloucester (4kg) down the Cooper Hill in Gloucester. The hill is a 1/3 gradients spanning 200 yards. The winner is the first person to catch the rolling cheese.

Should I go to the Gloucester Cheese Roll?
Hi all,
I will be visiting London and was going to fly out next Sunday, but then found out the glorious cheese chase in Gloucester is Monday! I checked it out and could take a 3 hour bus from London to Gloucester and then an hour bus after the race down to Bristol airport.
The videos of previous years races are great to watch, but is it worth extending my trip a day (and 4 hours on a bus) to go?
