On Fox 17 just now owner Jeff Lobdell said "I think a lot of it has been, let’s face it, a lot of younger people and newer people in the workforce that kind of live check to check,” Lobdell added. “With the stimulus, you may not need to go back right away. But we’re seeing now more and more applicants coming through, so we’re thinking that that’s ending.”
Yes, Jeff, all of us living check to check are living comfortably off a one time payment of $1400 in Grand Rapids. Cost of living is so low here that it is possible to do so. /s

My geraniums are acting funny. They look sad. They're bloom heads just fall over and never seem to bloom. If they do bloom, it's only partially. Any ideas why this might be happening?

Geraniums question
Couple of questions about my (already sprouted, but not yet flowering) geraniums I planted a couple of weeks ago.
I think I’ve been over watering them as some of the leaves has gone a bit yellow. If I cut back on the watering will these leaves turn green again or will they need to be plucked off? Or alternatively are they fine but just yellow now?
Also I was out at the market today and there were some geraniums for sale in full flower. Should I be worried that mine aren’t flowering yet? And is there anything I can do to spur them along? (Aside stopping drowning them).

Edit: few details: planted in beds at the edge of the lawn, soil felt like clay when digging the holes for them but I did lay down some compost. They are in full sunlight (when sunny..) from about 11am until 5 ish but are otherwise in the shade due to surrounding trees.

My grandmother used to keep tons of geraniums, so I grew one from seed. The smell of the leaves brings back memories :)

Very new to gardening- I live in Oceanside California, and got some geraniums. I went out today and saw they had a whole plant hanging out with them. My parents are coming over for dinner, and I think this is sage- but I'd prefer not to poison them if it's not.
Any thoughts?
