Gel Bracelet Puns

It's one of those custom rubber bracelets. On the outside, it reads "Forever in Our Hearts" and (what I assume to be) the initials of the deceased, "WMF". On the inside, it reads "6/8/18-10/11/18". I found it in southern Vermont.

Can someone help me identify the person in question? I've been wearing the bracelet ever since I found it, and I would love to have more of a connection to its origins.

I currently sell t-shirts using Teespring and other sites to raise some capital for another venture. Yes, I know the t-shirt gig isn't popular but I've made decent money for little work. It frees me up to work on my real project while making about $5k/month profit.

My largest niche is begging me for gel bracelets with the name of their illness on them. I can't find a site similar to Teespring where I don't have to place a big order and then ship it myself. I'd like to create the bracelet and link them to it and be done.

1. Is anyone familiar with a site for gel bracelets that will take orders and ship?

2. If not, what is the best way to go about obtaining the bracelets and shipping them? Can a Shopify store pull in all my Teespring, Amazon Merch links and then sell these bracelets too?

As a quick note, I am short (150cm) and I am pear shaped, so I carry my weight in my hips and thighs. It is really common for me to have to tailor my clothing to fit me well. Some of the items in my list I have had to adjust to fit me - I’ll let you know what adjustments I have made. But I won’t penalise items for fit issues when I have been able to tailor them.

My top 10 AliExpress purchases for 2021

#1 A custom solitaire moissanite ring from Jason at Provence. More photos here. I asked Jason to make me a custom version of this ring on their AliExpress page, and I absolutely love it. It’s a 7mm hearts and arrow mossanite, on a 14kt rose gold tulip setting. It is admittedly not the most durable ring setting, but I have been wearing it daily since I got it about 6 months ago and it has held up well.

#2 The Toteme jeans from Fairthee in black, white, light blue, and washed blue, and all in size 25. More photos here. These are the first jeans I have that fit me perfectly - this is completely insane for me and very rare. Taking in the waist of jeans is always a pain in the ass, or expensive if I want to pay for a tailor to do it. The fact they’re 100% cotton is a complete bonus. I really love these jeans and wear them to death. That being said, the quality of the zipper is a little shoddy. It doesn’t help that I have wider hips, and getting them on and off really strains at the zipper, which is why I think the zipper broke both times. I’ve ben able to fix them, and have reinforced the bottom of the zipper so they don’t break.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

So in my last post I offered tip #1 for those looking to play with a classic button down “Rosie Riveter” look. Some of the responses talked about wanting to play with something less “butch” and more “tomboy”. Which is another vibe that can be tricky to pull off!

#2 All About The Fabric!

So let’s take a look at a classic “skater girl” look. The style tends to emphasize baggy clothes that de-emphasize the breasts, BUT (and this is often overlooked) frequently emphasize the hips. Obviously this look can be tricky for trans women that don’t have as many natural curves, risking just looking flat and rectangular.

So how can we work around this? Well first, the top! If you’re naturally more svelt, you can always rock the classic tight “wife-beater” style tanktop. It fits the vibe, and tends to cling to the bust. If you’re like ME, though and have linebacker shoulders, then you might want to avoid emphasizing them. In this case I recommend a baggy t-shirt with a long torso made in a very THIN, dark, fabric. Why? It suits the style, but the thinner fabric will cling to the bust and avoid making you look completely flat. (Plus on the off chance you’re ACTUALLY a skater, it will look cool when you’re moving!)

Now the pants. See here we run into a potential issue. Big baggy pants rarely to us trans ladies any favors. Most of us tend to be a bit narrow in the hip. Now if that’s your jam, then grab yourself some boyfriend jeans and rock out! But for those who want to try and look a little thicker in the rear, I can’t recommend boot cut jeans enough!

The cut lends legs an hourglass shape, which when combined with the longer shirt from above, can draw the eye downward and give an illusion of wider hips! Now if you want to play into the baggier look while wearing bootcut jeans, then I recommend buying your jeans a couple inches too long in the leg. This will cause them to bunch up around your ankles just a bit!

As I mentioned in the comments of tip #1, it is hard to go far wrong with a beanie cap! So if you’re wanting to hide your hairline or your hair in general (like me!) that’s a good way to go.

The rest is gonna be a matter of accessories. If you’re worried about being misgendered, then adding in some extra feminine accessories can make all the difference. In this case some great femmy accessories that fit the look are:

-Gel Bracelets! Preferably a number of them in a range of colors!

-Long necklaces. Avoid the more chunky chains, and go for long and slen

Finally, it's time. I stood quietly in my dress suit behind Xhikaat's chair. It again flashed into my mind how bizarre K'tari seats were, open on one side and in the lower back to allow for their tail, and softly padded with a silica gel cushion. The cut out in the back of the seat to allow the tail to point down made the entire shape bizarre.

I couldn't really complain, however. The cushions made it comfortable enough for me for a while, though I preferred to use the floor for extended seating periods.

"Joseph! What the devil are you doing on that ship? What's with the lurking approach?"

I said, "Warm sun and fair wind to you, sir. I am Warlord Xhikaat of the K'tari Imperial Starship Kurtul. You know Joseph?"

"He's the damned lookalike of crewman Jones that got dragged on board by mistake years ago!"

I looked to Joseph, and he shrugged. He wasn't told about the error before?

Is incense out of the question? Spritz perfume/body spray, or even febreeze or other air freshener.

Not allowed to have candles? Keep a small packet of birthday candles in a junk drawer. Most people wouldnt think twice if they saw these, and you can even find pretty ones at the dollar store.The burn time is super quick, and that works to your advantage to stay low profile. Also, just a lighter or matchbook can be a quick alternative. Keep in mind you don't even have to burn candles for them to work. You can simply imagine as if they are lit, its all in the intention.

Collect coins, bills, tokens, or even leaves/stones for money spells. You can substitute nice flat green leaves in a pinch since they are reminiscent of US dollars.

Get a little notebook or colorful post-its to write spells in. You can create secret color codes for yourself, and disguise incantations or affirmations as to-do lists or similar. You can pick out pretty gel pens, markers, crayons, anything that makes you happy and devise a method to encode your work. It can be simple or complex as you like - maybe you come up with a certain flower doodle that you can ascribe hidden meaning to, or maybe a green glitter gel pen can symbolize success, etc. Even basic affirmations like "You got this!" pasted on the mirror or tucked in your pocket can be really powerful if you put a lot of feeling into it, and it won't cause suspicion.

You can make charm bracelets out of colored embroidery thread. Learning friendship bracelet patterns can be fun, and you can weave intentions into them. You can also try to make personal rosaries or tie spells onto physical objects with thread. Maybe sew a personal sigil on a hidden part of your clothing.

Need to discreetly mix potions? Brew some teas and add common pantry spices to them. You don't have to follow established tradition that demands certain herbs have certain associations. You can decide that cinnamon = love, and clove= success yada yada. I routinely make hot toddys when someone in my household gets sick and I'm always sure to add all sorts of tasty and healthy spices, lemon juice, honey, whiskey and the like, and for each ingredient I think to myself about how I want to help them heal. I think it can really help soothe people if the drink is made with love.

On that same note, work magic into your cooking! Soups, stews, broths, breads, heck, even salads or puddings, whatever! Select ingredients that taste good and feel right, and imbue your food

Linen wrap dress in white, size S. The dress is gorgeous, but quite sheer. I tried wearing beige under clothing and it was still see through. I ended up buying some cotton lining fabric and making a lining. I also brought in the waistline by 3 cm as it was too long in the torso and in length. I debated putting this in the good section, but at the end of the day I love how it looks and white linen is often see through! The linen fabric is super soft though, and I love how the dress looks!
