A list of puns related to "Ftc"
I realize that this headline is almost a year old now, but this topic came up again in a State Healthcare regulations call today so I think things are still brewing.
AHA urges FTC to Examine Anti-competitive Behavior by Nurse Staffing Agencies
The AHA is reaching out to the FTC claiming that staffing agencies are charging high rates for travel RNs (true) and they want the government to intervene. You can read the full letter here, but here is an excerpt:
>The AHA has received reports from hospitals across the nation that nurse-staffing agencies, which supply desperately needed staff to care for patients suffering from the COVID-19 virus and other conditions that require hospitalization, are engaged in anticompetitive pricing. A Jan. 23 Modern Healthcare article confirmed that the demand these agencies are seeing for travel nurses is βunprecedented in their company histories.β While many hospitals were reluctant to supply Modern Healthcare with information on the enormous rate hikes from these agencies for fear of retribution, the article reported that rates for travel nurses in some instances had tripled.
Such outrageous rate hikes appear to be naked attempts to exploit the pandemic by charging supracompetitive prices to desperate hospitals. While the nurse staffing agency industry too often blames hospitals for driving up the rates, the fact is that hospitals are in dire need of nursing staff to care for their patients and have little choice but to pay the rates demanded and refrain from complaining publicly for fear of being cut off from the supply of travel nurses by staffing agencies that set the prices. The impacts on hospital costs and patient care from these practices are manifold. Therefore, we request the FTC use its authority to protect consumers from anticompetitive and unfair practices to investigate this activity and take appropriate
action to protect hospitals and the patients whom they treat.
I'm infuriated. Yes, nurses are demanding higher wages right now. Is this not directly how the free market and competition works? The demand for labor has gone up and therefor the price of labor has gone up. Would government intervention in our wages not be anti-

It's still FTC.
It was beautiful.
To see the rabid fall
Without mercy
To a bunch of scrubs
In front of a stadium full of clowns.
Pro Bowl in the sun
All seven, holding back salty tears.
Like the saline surf of Hawaiian waves
Breaking on the shore,
Their dreams shattered
Their banners limp; an erectile dysfunction.
No Jesus prayers, no vaccine theories
Could save them from their amusing fate
Helpless and flailing, like Carson on 3rd and long
The vacant Reich, left wondering
'What went wrong?'
So Titans fans, enjoy this time
More victims gather, in a line
Bengal, Chief, or Soldier Blue
Unto the King, must pay their due.
For Henry's back, to collect his tax
Execute the media hacks
Bring us glory, prove us right
And raise the trophy 'to the night.
I ask of you but one thing:
Unite with me, and comment FTC
Have there been any FTCs where all of the players truly had a shot to win, were not considered goats, and were deserving in some way?
Which people have the worst ftc performance?

There's absolutely zero reason to doubt this team's fight. They prove it night after night, day after day, regardless of personnel. Fuck the Clippers!

As most of you know, Wargaming stated we would get NON DUPLICATE Decorations in the Large Boxes. After alot of people bought them they changed the blog post on the WoT site for the drop chances section to say Decorations instead of non duplicate decorations.
In classical WG fashion. Instead of compensating the people who bought large boxes. They blamed it on a communication error and decides that thats enough of an excuse.
IIRC, last time WG was massreported to EU anti-fraud wargaming apologised and solved the problems we had then.
It is time to do it once again!

EDIT: Send tickets/complaints to WG themselves too. Put them under pressure. Maybe reporting WG to your local fraud instances would help too.
Liana's final "question" for Xander. Was it just me or was this not one of the most hilarious and charming bits of the whole season? Even through the cameras and the TV I got the warmth of an authentic, unforced joke, told with the right timing and tone to get everybody to crack up. And story-wise, it was a great way to close their long-running storyline on a positive note, made clear there were no hard feelings and it was all good fun. I feel like this deserves to be remembered as one of Liana's 'moments,' even if her legend was already written with her amazing speech in her exit episode.
Has it been proven Jeff disliked Michele's win in Kaoh Rong so much that he decided to change the FTC format? And how does changing it favor players like Aubry? Would the results even have changed for her had the format then was different?
I'm sorry if this will rehash the old Aubry vs. Michele narrative, that's absolutely not my intention. I wasn't on here when all that controversy happened. Can somebody help to shed light on this?

βThe proposed vertical deal would give one of the largest chip companies control over the computing technology and designs that rival firms rely on to develop their own competing chips,β the FTC said in an announcement.
Nvidia stock was up over 2% on Thursday before the announcement, and did not move significantly on the news. The FTC complaint is not yet public.
FTC Chair Lina Khan, who was appointed by President Joe Biden to lead the agency shortly after her confirmation to the agency earlier this year, has signaled an interest in more robust antitrust enforcement.
The trial before the FTCβs own administrative law judge is set to begin on Aug. 9, 2022.
This is not wholly a surprise to people paying attention. Perhaps that's why price of NVDA didn't really move that much on the news (for now).
Any thoughts on the effect on NVDA? Would this tougher FTC enforcement affect other big acquisitions you're counting on for other companies? For example, when is AMD going to be done with Xylinx?
What is the best FTC performance from a THIRD-PLACE finalist? Not a runner-up or someone who tied in 2nd, I mean someone who came completely on the bottom of their FTC but still performed pretty well. Are there any examples of that?

Rewatching the FTC β Adam absolutely killed it. Idc what people say for the βsympathy voteβ, he did phenomenal
Like due to circumstances they didnβt end up there but even if the did they wouldβve likely flopped and get no votes in the end. Who fits that bill in your opinion?
For this context I define "best" as in most likely to change the most number of votes on the jury
To me it seems like an all-time great performance, as she articulated her gameplay and intentions much better than the two sitting next to her, and alleviated most possible doubts about her game. To me it seems like easily a top 5 performance but I wonder if Iβm alone in thinking this.
I firmly believe that public speaking skills decided the winner this season, Xander lost because he choked his pitch, be it nervousness, youth or lack of oratory prowess that's why he lost Erika was able to confidently pitch her average gameplay as strategy, the jury was already somewhat anti Xander too, it would have taken at least intermediate to very strong oratory skill to own his moves and convince people that had a negative view of him to put their emotions aside and vote for him, he failed at that miserably. I'll definitely give Erika credit for her ability to articulate her mediocrity as strategy.
I think Xander had a legit chance to win but his lack of oratory skill destroyed him.
A trained orator would have been able to own and articulate his thwarting of liana's KIP his social game making it to the merge while he had no vote at tribal pre-merge a huge resume point that could have been juxtaposed with Erika having to not even deal with tribals until post merge, he could have pitched his altruism move a little when he sat out for rice, pivot off his ridiculous read of the jury's emotions and rephrase it like he wasn't afraid of/or wanted to go against true competition at the end, this pitch would have worked way better if he had actually followed through with his plan of playing the idol for Ricard and/or stepping down to face off against Erika or even Ricard had he played the idol for him in fire making sending a legit competitor packing which he like would have done handily and double down on not being afraid of competition, that's a bold tactic, respectable and likely would sway some votes his way...
a move like playing the idol for Ricard and then beating him in the fire making contest and defending the moves as respecting competition and knowing that he had to be the one to directly take out Ricard, Ericka would not have been able to pitch a better move than that. Something like that would have gone down in history as potentially one of the greatest moves ever, save the odds on favourite and beat them in the fire making competition. Something like that likely would have earned him a vote from Naseer, Danny, and Ricard, probably even Evvie because she seemed like she was actually neutral about the finalists.
Something like David Murphyβs speech in RI or, Iβm about to say a bad word here but Spencerβs speech in Cagayan.
First, I'm posting this on a throwaway as I don't want anything to blowback on my team (since I have no trouble believing that the prime offenders in this post would retaliate).
For years, the organization of NC FTC has been abysmal, NC A&T which is the delivery partner and the company they contract to run the events (yes they farmed it out to a company) have done a pathetic job. In the past, events aren't fully staffed with volunteers, venues end up paying for significant portions of the cost of the event, and get little to no financial support. For the financial issue, I don't know how it is run in other states but if it costs a team 100$ to sign up for an event and there are 24 teams at the event then the venue shouldn't be forced to be paying for things like volunteer food and other costs. But those issue are in the past, this year NC A&T has managed to top themselves.
Our qualifiers have always been later in the season than other states and that's fine. The issues start with not figuring out when or even where they are being held until end of NOVEMBER with registration not opening until December 20th. Currently NC only has 72 slots for teams to compete (three 24 team tournaments) and we have 90+ teams registered with FIRST. That's pathetic, and the justification that they gave on the coaches call, "We were waiting until FLL ended to start on FTC", is insane, anyone who works with schools knows there's huge competition for getting the gyms during basketball season. I can't fathom how a university who is trying to use FTC to boost their image could do such a poor job.
I don't know if its even possible but I wish that FIRST Headquarters would do something such as revoke A&T as the delivery partner and find someone else, really anyone else, maybe whoever does FRC since they don't seem to be such a trash fire. That concludes my rant, thank you for coming.
