Games like fable and itβs sequels, or the thin veneer of romantic interaction that can occur in many games nowadays, are cool and all. But what I kind of want is something where the primary focus is playing a character that lives a life, grows and develops, can start a family or play politics or both or use one for the other, etc etc. a relatively complex life simulation. And in the background, my character is a wizard or some shiz and fights monsters. To a certain degree Iβve found some games on steam that almost hit the mark, but arenβt all that fleshed out. And some text based rpgs I found by having steam recommend some βnicheβ titles.
Medieval dynasty comes close it seems like but itβs pretty grounded from what I can tell and Iβm very much a swords and sorcery type of rpg enjoyer.
I donβt care about graphical fidelity or anything about the technical side of things. It can be text based for all I care as long as thereβs some degree of simulation to it rather than just standard story paths. I play dwarf fortress so I couldnβt care less about that kind of thing lol.
This is NOT about medical healthcare or anything related to that. I stumbled on a trans guy who offhandedly asked why so much art with trans men continues to show them with their natal genitalia. He then went on to explain that even when the trans man is in underwear, they don't have a bulge which is very noticed when a cis man is drawn alongside him. Dude has maybe a couple hundred followers but some crazy ass trans guys found it and now he's being suicide baited and talking about not everyone wants a dick...which doesn't negate anything he said.
It's absolutely mind blowing that someone can be told to off themselves, that they're truscum, etc because he literally asked a legit question. I've seen more art with post op trans women or trans women drawn in ways where her genitalia aren't visible. I'll likely never get to fully transition but I still hate the way some of these "artist" draw trans men and I literally don't even look at trans related art often at all. Many of these artist don't even draw trans men with genitals changed on T even if they're post top surgery.
I know the answer is "Trans men aren't seen as men" but still...these are other supposed trans men sending him death threats, insulting him and basically insulting him for having bottom dysphoria.

Because if the laws pass, it will give her the power to regulate the entire crypto industry. Yellen is the person behind White House's push to favor Sen. Warner's amendment over others. While the entire crypto community has been publicly tying to educate Senators on these laws, she has been making calls behind closed doors trying to arm twist the Senators into bringing in these draconian regulations. As it turns out she has also been getting paid by the banks she is supposed to regulate. And she is brining in regulation that kills decentralised competitors to banks, who have so far enjoyed near monopoly when it comes to controlling people's finances.
As Treasury Secretary, she is paid by the US Government to regulate banks - a role that requires the highest standards of ethics and moral turpitude. But she has collected $7m from the same banks that she regulates! Including Citi, Citadel Securities etc. How, without impartiality, can she regulate these banks that are paying her millions of dollars in speaking fees?
Imo - public officials paid by the government should not be collecting millions from the same entities they regulate. This is nothing but grift. While it is not per se criminal, because she was doing it when she was not a Govt official, but nevertheless these payments were received between her 2 terms as Treasury Secretary.
The ethical thing for her was to not accept the role of Treasury Secretary in the new Biden Administration, because she was aware she had been paid by the banks she is supposed to regulate. But despite all this, she took up the job. clearly indicating her lack of morals and ethics.
She really needs to STEP DOWN. The crypto community must unite to get such greedy grifters out of public policy for good, if we need to have a fair chance at our decentralised future.

I just picked up The First Law trilogy and I'm about 100 pages in. I am thoroughly enjoying it so far. I don't mind magic existing in books, but I don't want it saturated with a magic system whether it be hard or soft.
I liked Lord of The Rings, a Song of Ice and Fire, American Gods, and Harry Potter when I was a kid.
I did not care for Mistborn or Neverwhere.

By looking at the sp, you'd think we were in a dark period. Take a look at YMB or even here, and you'd think we were in the toilet.
I don't think CytoDyn behaves like an OTC stock. In which OTC do you know EXACTLY what's happening with the company? Where else do you get FULL DISCLOSURE? We know what the Board knows. The hell with the majority of the posters on YMB. The majority don't know their ass from their elbow and I'm sure the majority don't have even a grand in the company. They just have big mouths and need to make a buck or two every time they open it.
CytoDyn BoD gives the information we need as investors. We got into CytoDyn because we are investors and this Board gives us the necessary news, the long and the short. Is this a bad thing? Not for me. Every time they do it, I'm even more convicted.
I can deal with the $1 stock price. This is what I signed up for. I'm not in this for the green in my portfolio. CytoDyn has a million things going on and each one looks amazing. This is why I'm in. This $1 price tag is hardly a reflection of what we own. It is a falsity. The market is just plain wrong and it will be proved wrong.
The risks in the short term shall be obliterated by the gains down the line. Leronlimab will not be swept under the carpet indefinitely. It just won't. Is the world willing to receive Leronlimab? When will the time come when the world can no longer do without it, is the real question. Leronlimab does humanity good in everything it touches. Our team has the responsibility of getting it to the world and they are doing it. And they are letting us know exactly where they are in that process on a weekly basis. This is not and OTC company.
This stock is unimaginably difficult to hold or even build up. Anyone in this for 2 years knows this. When we shoot to $15, which one of us won't be tempted to sell 1/2 their stake, knowing what it feels like to be at $1 and what the chances are that the shorts bring us right back to where we are today? Yes, I believe, it will become even harder to hold at $25 than where we are right now. You'll say, remember those dark days? and you'll want to sell out not to get there again. By the way, I know that some of them arenβt officially βcentersβ but they either sing a lot of lines or get a lot of screen time so they are definitely promoted a lot by their companies.
This makes sense to me because they are well rounded visuals. So to me this is normal. It happens in all groups, even non Kpop groups. Harry Styles often got the most screen time and lines in One Direction. But he also got a lot of hate because people felt like he was stealing too much spotlight from the other members.
I donβt understand why the center position gets a bad rep. They are important to the group. Theyβre like the glue that holds everything together on stage. They keep the groups image.
Itβs not their fault if some members get less screen time or less lines. If this is a problem, itβs usually the producers or directors. A center is a center for a reason. Theyβre supposed to be CENTER in choreography, in photoshoots, and the center of what the group is.
This is just interesting to me because I always see centers getting blamed forβ¦literally just doing their job? Itβs not like theyβre bullying everyone and stealing attention. I like when a group has a member being in the front a bit. Itβs easier to really grasp what the group is supposed to represent.
Maybe itβs just me though.
