A list of puns related to "Flaxseed"
I heard they lose nutrition once they are ground and was wondering if it's a huge difference.
I've heard it has no effect on estrogen levels, but I've heard some crap saying it can effect testosterone and don't know what to believe.
They've been recommanded for their Omega content, and they are actually cheap here so I bought some
Raw they're kinda bland and hard to chew, and I don't know how to eat them ground up because I don't do shakes or oatmeal.
Is there another use in cooking I havan't seen here so far?
Thanks for your help
Is there any significant difference? Should one be used over the other? Both together? Thank you.
I've seen lots of posts here of flaking seasoning that were met with comments of "classic flaxseed seasoning flaking right off!" I personally seasoned two of my pans with flaxseed oil only to have it start flaking off shortly after, and have never had that happen with any other seasoning method. But I was just browsing over at the Finex website and noticed that they boast of preseasoning their pans with "100% organic flaxseed oil". I assume they wouldn't do it if it's just going to flake off later. Anybody have an explanation? How can Finex do a base coat of seasoning with flaxseed oil successfully, while so many home users get terrible results?
So I stumbled across several YouTube videos of da few doctors claiming these methods would help many people lower bp. Tons of comments from real accounts(not bots) claiming they helped them tremendously. Iβm going to try these on my own as thereβs really no downside to trying, Iβm just wondering if anyone else had tried these methods?
Hey all, I'm starting Accutane and you're supposed to take it with a high-fat meal.
I thought to just add avocado and call it a day, but research suggests that you need at least 20g of fat with each capsule, so I thought I can just drink the flaxseed oil that I have at home?
I know it has to do with EPA or DHA, and I have great benefits from using it, but I have great side effects too, which are unbearable like insomnia.
I didn't use these 3 things together, I used omega 3 for a while ago at a reasonable dose prescribed in the supplement jars, and after a while I went to test a spoonful of chia and flaxseed and it gave me the same effect, however the insomnia was minor, but still had
Hey everybody, I'm wondering why the big discrepancy in carbs between these brands of flaxseed meal:
From Woolies 28.8g/100g https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/698018/macro-organic-brown-flaxseed-meal
From Coles 15.3g/100g https://shop.coles.com.au/a/noranda-square/product/coles-brown-flaxseed-meal
And from this website https://sureketo.com/search/ground%20flaxseed, a couple of American brands which claim only around 6g/100g
I'm making this very nice bread which calls for 150g of flaxseed powder https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O60UQMK56Es. I used the Macro brand meal from Woolies and it turned out very nicely, although a lot darker than in the video. But now I'm wondering if the carb count is a bit on the high side.

I don't know about you but one of the things i crave the most when adopting keto lifestyle is bread!!! I've attempted million times to try recreate so many different bread but they turn out to be eggy, cakey and so dense. I thought I never had it again. I refuse to use vital wheat gluten as I can't really tolerate gluten. So the only chance I have is to use psyllium husk and flaxseed powder. But after so many attempts and troubleshooting, I finally get this right!

I just used these seeds in the omelet together with turmeric, daily, I've heard that this is anti-inflammatory properties,
I have low porosity very fine and very dense hair. My hair is currently suffering from protein overload. I am about to start a detox journey not using anything with protein till my hair can breath again.
I was wondering if, considering all that, itd be a good idea to use flaxseed gel in my routine. I am aware that flaxseed itself has lots of proteins. But does the gel itself has proteins??

NUTRITION INFO [ Total Servings = 5 ] Per serving ; Total Carb = 15.7 g Dietary Fiber = 13.6 g Net Carb = 2.1 g Calories = 232 Total Fat = 11.9 g Protein = 10.6 g
INGREDIENTS DRY INGREDIENT Ground Golden Flaxseeds = 150 g / 1 1/4 cup Psyllium Husk = 18 g / 2 tbsp (Note: The psyllium husks must be ground until half its original volume before using. This is important as it will absorb the water more effectively and this is actually more suitable for baking. However, if you are using pre ground psyllium powder, only 1 to 2 tsp is required. Please see this video about psyllium husk and powder for better understanding and success - https://youtu.be/_bnCwudgFt4) Baking Powder = 8 g / 2 tsp (If using double acting, reduce amount by half) Salt = 1/2 to 1 tsp
WET INGREDIENTS Eggs = 4 large egg whites (153 g) OR 2 whole eggs {The protein from egg whites helps to boost the rise while fats from the egg yolks hinders the rise. Hence, it is highly recommended to use egg whites) Apple Cider Vinegar = 28 g / 2 tbsp Hot or Boiling Water = 100 ml / 0.4 cup for ground psyllium husk = 50 ml / 0.2 cup for psyllium powder
