I've noticed that a HUGE red flag that someone is going down the far right hole is when they mention Rhodesia. Seems like half the guys I know wish they could've fallen for a shitty Soldier of Fortune ad.

Are there any good resources for identifying symbols or other images that the fashy-right uses? Especially more homegrown types rather than the more widely used symbols by hate groups?

so I've been into various subgenres of black metal for many years now, but my area has zero metal scene whatsoever, I can't afford to go to concerts and nobody I know listens to metal other than the occasional Metallica/Iron Maiden song, so I've never really seen the community. I've known that NSBM is a thing and many 2nd wave artists are messed up folks, but they're not what I'm into anyways so I didn't consider looking up the political views of anybody until fairly recently. I am now relieved to know that nobody I listen to is a nazi fuck, but the amount of bands who are and fans who support it or at least seem 100% okay with it seems.. concerning to me now. I'm queer and definitely a lefty, so I'm feeling pretty disillusioned (sorry for the rant lol).
Are most people in the scene shitty? Or are they just one of those small but vocal minorities? Like I've been told by zealous christians that 'my kind' should be lined up and shot, if the BM community thinks the same way, that's some next level irony.
Do they even know what socialism is? Socialism is when good, capitalism is when bad, why are they even trying to argue when these are the literal definitions?
