I've created a team that comprises of several duos are requested on the subreddit, returning duos, and new duos that I think would be fun. My focus for this one would be to create teams which come from communities which are outside of them. In that way, they'll interact with players whom they haven't teamed up before to create diversity in MCC.

- Yes, you've seen it right. Sapnap is teamed with Hermitcrafters! This would be an interesting team as it combines several members from two large MC groups. I do want them to interact and team with each other tbh. Also this team is similar to MCC12 Lime but we replace Sapnap with Fruit. Also this team comprises of Sapnap-Cubfan duo. As we may know, Cubfan hinted that he wants to team with Sapnap in some MCCs.

- Punz-Smajor duo!!! This is an interesting team tbh. With Punz' leadership on PVP and Smajor for team games, I predict that this team would do very well!

- A strong team TBH. I made the duo of Krtzyy-Ranboo because I think that they complement each other well. This also comprises of MCC players coming from different groups so their interaction would be fun to watch.

- Quig-Tubbo duo!!! Honestly, I think they complement each other. Tubbo's enthusiasm on MCC will match Quig's leadership and determination to campaign his team to victory. And with strong supports from Ren and Gemini, I see this team as a strong one.

- A return of MCC13 Mint Mistletoes! I've seen several posts wanting Fruit-George to be back again, so here it is! With George cementing his place on the A-tier, this team is definitely a lot stronger than its previous version. With 5Up's skills in PVP and Karl's recent improvement, this team can reach to DB.

Especially in Half Blood Prince. I think that the movies personified the character in people's minds as a gormless awkward, dim hero. In the books, he's sort of effortlessly cool --- even if he is awkward in his mind, he comes off as more of the popular bad boy on the outside.

He's funny in a dry way:

Hey, everyone! MCC19 was a pretty crazy ride but one of my favorite moments has to be the Teal Turkey’s Battle Box. They had a good chance of going 9/9, but strong PvP teams like Red, Emerald, and Purple were teams that could also put up a challenge. Despite that though, they did go 9/9 and ended up tying with none other than Sapnap’s former team, the Coral Carollers of MCC13, as the highest scoring team in Battle Box of all time. Tommy’s MCCP21 team also managed to do this, but he did it once again in a canon event this time.

However, as I was watching this event again, I genuinely never felt like this team was never in danger of losing. Yes, going into the rounds I felt scared, but never did I feel like this team was at a disadvantage state. That got me thinking. How does this team’s Battle Box performance compare to that of MCC13’s Coral Carollers? I mean, it’s the same map, both with Sapnap, and both with the exact same score.

With that being said, I wanted to do a bit of an analysis, going round for round and looking at how these two performances stack up. Now, it’s important to note that I’m not trying to degrade any players or anything. I think all seven players here did a phenomenal job.

Now that that’s out of the way, let’s get a few things settled. First of all, we need to discuss the differences going into MCC13 and MCC19 Battle Box.

Obviously, the major difference is that players had never played the map in 13, while most of them had in 19. This meant that Sapnap’s iconic flank strat could work much better in MCC13, while people would be able to expect it in MCC19.

That being said, it’s also worth taking into account that Sapnap didn’t know the map until it was played in 13 too, meaning he had to adapt and create his strategy on the fly. Compare this to MCC19 where he was able to strategize and formulate a plan before going in, meaning he would be able to optimally execute his strategy right off the bat.

It’s a similar situation with the items. Items like the Jump Boost potion were a bit confusing to use in MCC13 in the first few rounds. Not everybody knew what they were for since it wasn’t immediately obvious that you couldn’t get to the wool area so easily. Compare this to MCC19 where people knew the items much better. However, this is kind of a non-point considering that everyone was still on a relatively equal playing field.

It’s also worth noting that in MCC13, Krtzyy took a more leadership role while in MCC19, Sapnap led his team.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Bel's story isn't superfluous, it's the point of Flux as an event. And the mythological framework Chibnall is using explains why. What seems ordinary is actually these days extraordinary in genre. Just how often do major franchises show a couple who at the end are sent off to live a life together raising a child? What should be considered an ordinary and essential part of the human condition has been made complicated and difficult, both in the past and in today's most modern societies.

We know Bel's story is essential to Flux because she is the one character who had announced in big bold letters across the screen that she has entered the story, "Bel's Story", at the beginning of Once, Upon Time. If for some parts of the world the fall season is that of Halloween, for other parts the season is that of the Moon Festival, so it is appropriate that Bel at the beginning seems separated forever from her love Vinder. But in contrast to the myths, Bel is neither immortal nor resigned to her fate; instead as she states, she wills that she goes on in her quest to reunite. Chibnall has her flat out state to a Cyberman:

Chibnall does not photocopy a myth, but he deconstructs the myths to make his point. Thus when we go to another episode, a character can be seen in light of another myth, perhaps transformed and deconstructed as another. When we go to Village of the Angels, we expect Bel to be interpreted in the context of some Abrahamic faith, most like the Biblical Book of Revelation. We were told she is with child, so we are reminded of the pregnant Queen of Heaven in Revelation. But her child is from her husband not a deity, she having described previously the probable night of their child's conception, their one night together as a honeymoon before deployment. But Bel does do the intercessional role of Mary, saving a man from the False Prophet Azure, similar to how the Book of Revelation describes how the survivors of the disasters will be repeatedly tempted.

Note that Chibnall's Flux has Swarm specifically quote Milton's Paradise Lost

It's Christmas time in the Appalachians, and the holidays are as big a deal here as they are anywhere else.

That being said, Grandpa has had me busy for the last five days.

On December first, as I lay sleeping off the leftovers of Thanksgiving turkey, which we had been eating all week, Grandpa shook me awake and said we had to get started. I tried to roll over, telling him to let me sleep a little bit longer. He just shook me awake again and told me to get up and help him get the things from the attic.

When I asked him what things, he looked shocked.

"The Christmas decorations! We have to make sure everything is ready for the season!"

Grandpa has always been a nut for Christmas time. I can remember visiting my grandparents during the holidays and smelling the aromas of the season. Gingerbread, sugar cookies, Grandma's traditional fruitcakes, which she usually gave as gifts and tasted better than anything from the store, and the cinnamon miasma of homemade cider. Grandma baked from November twenty-second until January fifth, and our house always seemed to contain a pie, a cookie, or some other confection that she had whipped up for the season.

And While Grandma baked, Grandpa decorated.

As we set it all up, I realized the herculean effort Grandpa must have come into every year to make the house look as festive as possible. Garland was stretched on every eave, mistletoe hung in bushels, lights twinkled merrily, and the sounds of singing Christmas decorations, as well as the silent wooden Christmas decor, were everywhere. Some of you have asked me what Grandpa does with himself to keep busy, and I'm here to tell you that he's one of the finest woodworkers in the valley. He makes furniture, walking sticks, and many other pieces that he usually sells at the flea market, especially around this time of year. Game 3: Sky Battle

Alrighty, MCC is right around the corner so its time to make some predictions for it. Before i start please know that these are just predictions and i do not mean any hate to the teams or players. Also, my predictions might be different to yours so don't hate on them please :)

1 - Teal Turkeys -- Sapnap, Ph1lzA, Tommyinnit, Sneegsnag

I think this one is pretty self explanatory lol. They are just too good imo other than maybe buildmart or grid runners they have no major weakness but i think they will do so well in other games that it won't even matter if they do horrible in buildmart lol. Sapnap and Tommy will lead the charge in pvp games such as skybattle and sg and i expect them to win both of these games. Ph1lzA will dominate battlebox alongside sapnap and this team will do very well in movement games like ace race and parkour tag aswell. Sneeg is soooo underrated in the mcc community, he didn't have a great first mcc but you can see how well he performed coming 12th individual in mcc 18. Overall this team will absolutely destroy the competition in my opinion and tommy will finally get into dodgebolt after 15 mccs

2 - Red Reindeers -- Punz, Eret, Krinios, GeorgeNotFound

Teal Turkeys 1 vs Teal turkeys 2, oh yeah! All jokes aside this team is just as cracked as they were in mcc 13. Punz recently got into the s-tier debate, krinios is an amazing underrated player, eret is a great all round team player and gogy =). I see this team doing just as good as teal and giving them a run for their first place finish. I think Punz will take leadership role this mcc and lead his team in games like skybattle, sg, and even build mart lol. Krinios is such an amazing person and a great player and will spread great positivity and also show off his pvp and team skills. The George and eret duo returns after a long time and will be an absolute blast to watch. Overall this team will definitely get top 3

3 - Purple Penguins -- TapL, Wisp, Seapeekay, Nihachu

Ah yes the purple penguins, my dark horses!! First of all i am kind of gutted not to see SB on this team since he is a literal penguin lol but seriously though this team looks very strong all round. Ace race master Seapeekay, TapL is just tapl, INSANE. Wisp obviously is a great uhc player and i think he will show his true powers this mcc and finally NIKI. I am so happy to see niki in a good team like this as i always feel bad for her when she thinks she does very bad in mccs :( but aside from that niki is a prett

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to my initial impressions and analysis posts. Here, we’re looking at MCC19’s newly announced teams! This is probably one of the most busted events we’ve had this Season, so I’m very excited to talk about some of these teams!

Of course, please keep in mind that these are just my first impressions. You’ll be able to see my more detailed thoughts after research and analysis as I post my guides later on! Check out my profile if you wanna get a bit of a sneak peek as to what those are like. It is worth noting that I dedicate way too much free time to getting to know the players and looking at stats, so I do think know a thing or too lol.

10. Sapphire Santas: (4,051, =) - KryticZeuz, Vixella, JamesTurner, DrGluon

It’s the Simmers! Really excited to see them back, especially after a surprisingly great performance from both Zeuz and Vixella in MCC17.

Sadly though, as much as I want to believe in #NOTLAST, I can’t really predict them higher. I don’t think I really need to explain it, so I won’t go too in depth. That being said, I think Vixella and Zeuz might do a little bit better than expected, so keep an eye out for them.

Also, for those of you wondering, I won’t be making a guide for the Sapphire Santas, and that’ll probably extend to any future Simmers teams. They just take way too long to make and I’m quite busy with school now, plus, they’re going to play for fun so a competitive guide probably isn’t needed anyway lol.

The MCC19 Mint Mistletoes: An Analysis and a Guide to Victory

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to my analysis and guides to victory for every team. Here I go over every MCC team and analyze them, look at their players, their best games, and give tips on how I believe they can win.

There will be links to every guide down below as they come out, so if you wanna check a specific one out, you can go there!

The Mint Mistletoes is comprised of FalseSymmetry, InTheLittleWood, Smallishbeans, and Rendog. They have a total average of 7,619 which places them in 9th, just below the Purple Penguins but above the Sapphire Santas. However, if we use the “last event” scoring method, aka the method Scott uses… I think…, they come out at 8,049 coins, placing them in 5th below the Red Reindeer but above the Pink Presents.

The reason I say “I think” is because while based on his team making video back from MCC7 and MCC8 we know he uses “last event” scores over averages, he says that with his method, Mint is actually the strongest. Obviously, using just purely last event scores doesn’t work out, and the only method I could find that puts Mint in first statistically is by discounting underperformances and pop off events, including giving Sneeg his MCC17 score which… well, I’ll get to that when I talk about Teal.

This has no actual bearing on the analysis. It’s just somethin I wanted to point out lol.

Anyway, that is still a pretty big difference between last event and overall average, so to explain a little bit more, let me go into detail with each player.

The first player up is False, and she and Ren are one of the primary reasons why this team has such a significantly higher “last event” score. She last participated in MCC17 where she placed 16th with 2,343 coins. Her team went on to win the entire event, and this was essentially False’s return to glory.

Now, I’d actually say this is more in line with False’s average performance, but her Season 2 stats as a whole just haven’t been the best, so this really helped bring her stats back up. Speaking of which, she has an overall average of 1,887 coins, but that’s largely dragged down by the fact that

Hey, everyone! I was bored so I decided to try my hand once again at making some teams! I thought this would be easy, but I was once again proven wrong. I swear, these are so hard to balance while putting together iconic teams. My respect for Scott has grown even more.

Anyway, these are my predictions for the MCC19 teams. Note that unlike MCC18, I don’t have any knowledge on who has confirmed or hasn’t confirmed that they’re playing aside from Seapeekay, FalseSymmetry and KaraCorvus (though she did end up playing in MCC18, since she was a sub, I’m still confident she’ll play here), as well as OrionSound and Fundy most likely not playing.

When making these teams, I really didn’t concern myself too much with the numbers, but I did try to make it fairly balanced (with the exception of one team, of course). This is less numerically balanced than some of the other teams I’ve made, but if you want to know the range without Sapphire, it’d be 493.

Red Reindeers (9,040) - TommyInnit, Tubbo, Sneegsnag, Smajor1995

Of course, as per usual, Tommy’s team is in Red, and I think it’s time for him and Tubbo to team up again in a canon event! I know a lot of people here think they clash, but now with Tommy seemingly being more relaxed in MCC and being surrounded by more chill teammates in general, I think the two can work really well together!

As for the other two members, I really wanted to give Tommy a strong team so I went and gave him another two solid members. Sneeg and Scott are both good friends with the rest of the team, and I think they’d all work very well together.

Coral Carollers (8,730) - HBomb94, iskall85, Grian, FalseSymmetry

This is the statistically weakest team, but I think that’s quite deceptive. First of all, out of all the “leaders”, aka those in the S/A+ Tiers, H has the lowest average. This is largely because he’s the only one of these “leaders” that people generally don’t consider in those tiers, placing him in H-Tier instead.

Still, I don’t think you should underestimate this team. Iskall and Grian are historically the best hermits, while False isn’t very far behind. Plus, the chemistry and vibes of this team would be great! I think this is a team that could work really well and would be a gre

1.) Emerald Elves:

This team is the strongest, in my opinion. Dream is a top 5 player, Ranboo and Tubbo top 15 players, and Slimecicle being new to the tournament. Dream has the first player to five wins competition in mind, and I think he will push his team to be first on the leaderboard. Ranboo has not won his first MCC yet, and Tubbo has won 1. When I look at this team, I see a team hungry for winning the tournament and making it to dogebolt.

2.) Teal Turkeys (Wins Dogebolt):

This team is one of the strongest in this event, and I can see them push all the way and win dogebolt. Sapnap is a top 3 player, and Phil, Tommy, and Sneeg are all top 20 players. Sapnap has had a fantastic start to Season 2 with playing dogebolt four times and winning 3. Phil has not done the best in recent MCC's but his performance in the MCC All-Stars shows that with a good team, he can perform great. Tommy is in the same boat and has the longest streak without making dogebolt (13 not-including non-canon events), and I think he can break this streak with the right team. Sneeg is pretty new to MCC with only two events, but he showed massive improvement from his first to second MCC, and I can see him continuing to improve.

3.) Red Reindeer:

This team is strong, and I can see them doing very well in this event. Punz and George are both top 6 players, and Krinios is a top 20 player. Eret has played in many MCC's and has consistently scored around the 25th-30th range. Punz is an outstanding player, and his recent score in MCC All-Stars proves it. George has recently had stellar performances, and I can see him keeping up his exceptional performances. Krinios and Eret are both solid players, and I can see them helping this team a lot. I would not be surprised if I see this team making dogebolt as I think they are fully capable of doing so.

4.) Pink Presents:

The Pink Presents reminds me of the MCC 17 Yellow Yaks. They have three of the same players, and I can see them doing around the same. The MCC 17 Yellow Yaks ended up third in the event, just beaten by the Fruit-Ninja duo. Scott is a top 10 player, Wilbur is a top 15 player, Subble consistently placing around 20-25th, and Jack slightly below. I believe this team will do pretty similar to what the MCC 17 Yellow Yaks did, and their best games are the movement games like Hole in The Wall and TGTTOS.

Purple, Ginger, and Yellow were all challenging to place as I feel they all deserve 5th

MCC19 Predictions

As a note, I don't predict that there will be any new players outside of Rising/Pride participants and/or guests. This is because MCC is supposed to go on a short break of atleast one month, and I don't think Scott will add a brand-new player only for them to not be able to play for a couple months afterward.

Red Reindeer - 8607 / 8564 - Krtzyy, Tommyinnit, InTheLittleWood, KatherineElizabeth

Martyn and Katherine are the only ones on this team who have teamed before, but this team should still get along. Tommy & Martyn had an iconic practice stream together before, Dave & Tommy have their twitter interactions every sub milestone, and of course; "Just killed a woman / child, feeling good!"

Best Games: Parkour Tag, Skybattle, Grid Runners | Worst Games: Sands of Time, Buildmart

Coral Carolers - 8589 / 9298 - Sapnap, Sneegsnag, DanTDM, Cubfan

Another team with only 1 returning duo, in Sapnap & Dan. Sapnap & Cub want to team together, and Sneeg would fit in well here. Also, Dan should hopefully? be in MCC19, since he was subbed out last time, and hasn't played in a while.

Best Games: Skybattle, Battle Box, Sands of Time | Worst Games: Buildmart, Hole in the Wall

Yellow Yetis - 9030 / 9100 - Quig, Tubbo, Shubble, GeeNelly

If you haven't realized yet, these teams don't have many returning duos. Quig & Tubbo would be a great duo, and a chance for Quig to team with a player who regularly gets top 10. Shubble is good friends with them both, and Gee has atleast met Tubbo before.

Best Games: Grid Runners, Skybattle | Worst Games: Sands of Time, Parkour Tag

Mint Mistletoes - 8509 / 9016 - Fruitberries, Smajor, Rendog, LDShadowLady

The only team so far where everyone has teamed before. Ren & Lizzie were a great duo in Last Life, and are both good friends with Scott. Fruit obviously fits in well with this team. This team may be the weakest on paper so far, but it will have great vibes and is still capable of doing very well.

Best Games: Buildmart, Survival Games | Worst Games: Ace Race, Battle Box

Emerald Elves - 9003 / 8543 - Punz, Antfrost, Grian, GeminiTay

Probably the (2nd) most likely team to actually happen in MCC19, this is the group from HBomb's post-17 stream, minus HBomb. They had great chemistry, and both Punz & Antfrost have shown interest in being adopted

I have a couple of wild opinions on team placements, so I thought why not share them.

10. Sapphire Santas

While typing this I almost out Sapphire Simmers lmao. Anyways, it's expected at this point, but sadly Simmers are in last. However, if they play very well or the team in front underperforms slightly, I could see them escaping 10th place once more.

9. Cerulean Candy Canes

This team is weird to me. It feels very disjointed, with a very random selection, but tbf, I do like me some random teams. While I'm glad to Ryguyrocky in a canon mcc again, this team is underpowered. They especially struggle in movement, and whole they could have some unexpected popoffs in team games, in general they have the odds stacked against them.

8. Pink Presents

The return of the All Attendence crew, this time with Jack. This is the third time in a row a team with this composition is being predicted low for me, and while the other times I had a small inkling they would surprise me, this one just doesn't have the same consistent power as Yellow17. Not to diss Jack, but Ranboo was a key factor is the success of both Yellow17 and Cyan18, so without him, I don't have high hopes. This team is literally insane at Grid Runners and Buildmart, but they'll be fighting an uphill battle in most of the other games.

7. Yellow Yetis

Time for the curve ball. I know what you're thinking, there's no way this team places this low, but I have my reasons. Quig and Captain are a strong duo, sure, but Kara and Michael are where the flaws in this team really lie. They havn't been doing well recently, Kara especially, and they really need a return to form to place well. The other option is Quig and Captain popoff so hard that it doesn't matter, but I don't see it. This is a well rounded team that doesn't have too many weaknesses, but not many strengths either. Despite that, this is the first team I think could make it to dodgebolt.

6. Mint Mistletoes

People are sleeping on this team, and so did I when it was first announced. This team is crazy good at team games, solid at movement, and deceptively not that bad at PvP, especially Battle Box. The real reason they're so high is Martyn and Joel. Both have done very well on low placing teams recently, and I believe they can replicate those performances here. False is also a key component to this team, as she has the potential to do very well, as high as top 15. While she might not be doing super well this season, she can turn it around, and this i

Ok, so I'll be putting a lot into this one so it doesn't get taken down for low effort.

Team #1: Red Reindeer

(Krinios, George, Punz, Eret)

I think that this team has potential to be a DB contender, but Krinios has been struggling lately in MCC15 and MCCAS. On the other hand, George has been doing well. This means one solid top 10 player and two potential top 10 players. This team would probably do best in PvP games, but I don't think that they have any particularly weak games. However, I think they'll do the worst in Grid Runners due to lack of experience with Krinios and Eret.

Overall, I'm putting them 2nd in terms of how likely it is for them to win, for now.

Team #2: Ginger Breadmen (bruh)

(Grian, Solidarity, Pete, Gem)

I was surprised at this team. This team reminds me of the MCC17 Lime team, but even stronger. This team can definitely do well in every game, but they may struggle a bit in Battle Box or Parkour Tag depending on the day. On the other hand, Pete has been quite inconsistent in S2, but after two underperformances, he'll be ready to go for 1st individual again. I'd say avoid Battle Box unless Pete and Jimmy have been doing well, and maybe be wary of Grid Runners, but that's about it.

Overall, I'm putting them 3rd, just behind Red.

Team 3: Yellow Yetis

(Quig, Jordan, Kara, Michael)

I don't know why, but this team feels weak to me. Maybe it's because of Kara underperforming this season, but I don't think they'll do so well. They'd be good at Build Mart, Grid Runners, and maybe Sky Battle, but this feels like a slightly stronger MCC17 Aqua (with Ant instead of Quig and Eret instead of Michael), and with how strong the other teams are, I'm not so sure about them.

Overall, I'm putting them 4th, a good distance behind the top 3.

Team 4: Mint Mistletoes

(Martyn, Joel, False, Ren)

This team feels like a stronger MCC12 Aqua, a last place team with strong performances in certain games. However, Martyn and Joel have shown that they can place pretty well, and they might even help False not underperform as much as she did in MCC14 and MCC15. They're definitely a sleeper Battle Box team, and they'll do well in team games (and maybe Ace Race if it's Space Race), but I don't think they'll be able to hold their own against the other teams.

Overall, they're unfortunately 5th.

Team 5: Emerald Elves
