A list of puns related to "Expo Marker"
About to run a Curse of Strahd playthrough with 4 people who have some DND experience. Originally, I was going to do what I do with my homebrew world and just draw stuff as they get to it, and mostly theatre of the mind or whatever. Anyways, I've been reading Curse of Strahd and seeing the maps and such, and they are 100x more intricate than ones I'm used to. My natural line of thought was "ok, well I can't use dry erase markers for all of this stuff, so let's get some actual maps". Turns out, printing out this big of maps is not only expensive but just a headache. So now, I'm thinking of buying foundry and just having everyone bring their laptops. My goal would be: Just do the movement on the screen, all other aspects of the game are to be pen/paper, the way they like it. Doing it virtually would provide the detailed maps that this module seems to have. I do have some concerns though:
A lot to unpack there, but any tips on this situation would be greatly appreciated!
Itβs chemically delightful
I have seen some dry erase markers from other brands, but there are a lot of choices. I donβt know which brand I should choose, because I bought some of them without ink. Which one is your favorite dry erase marker? You can have some Recommend to me?
1 expo marker is 12 cm
The very tip of the cap that is inserted into the other marker is .5 cm.
That means every marker measures effectively 11.5 cm, or .000115 km when stacked like a sword.
The circumference of the Earth's equator is 40,075 km (https://www.space.com/17638-how-big-is-earth.html)
40,075 km / .000115 km = 348,478,261 (rounded to the nearest whole marker)
Following up on my last post, I said it would take 348,478,261 expo markers, stacked sword style (or end to end), to wrap around the Earth's equator.
Well, each one of those markers costs a little less than a dollar when bought in bulk. (36 markers for $34.23 is the best price I found ^(bulk source) )
When doing the math, that comes out to over 331 million USD.
Now, who is going to start the GoFundMe?
Long shot but i think i dropped a blue expo marker either in olin hall auditorium or okenshields. Would like back if anyone finds
