Do we know why the 1400mOsm and the 1300mOsm (for example) layers don't equilibrate—as you'd expect with normal diffusion?

Say I have, for example, an air bubble under water. First it has some initial pressure, then it floats upwards quickly so V of the bubble increases while P drops. Now we keep the bubble at some constant height (doesn't matter how we accomplish this task, but we do). How long will it now take for the bubble to be approximately at the pressure of its surroundings again? I have no idea if this is something that would take a microsecond or a whole minute.
Today i realized that i gave so much energy in my head compared to the rest of my body. what can i do to equilibrate this energy? I noticed that this energy in my head causes me some problems.
Say I need my soup to be under 4.6pH for safety purposes. If the soup itself is 4.5, can I assume that there is no botulism risk, or do I need to ensure that each vegetable has a pH lower than 4.6? How would I do that? Would I have to puree all the vegetables after being processed in the soup? Wouldn't the pH equilibrate after cooking?
I have an aunt and an uncle on their sixties (they are siblings) whom, after having their father suffering a long illness lost him; in all those 12 years, the only thing they did apart from taking care of him was work or attending the church (in my auntie's case) .
So, after the funeral, my uncle decided that they will move from the house they were born in, and that I am in charge of the refurbishment of the place they will move in.
MAJOR THING HAPPENING HERE, because they are the type of people who are not keen of change. So, my uncle decided, my aunt is not very pleased but will obey as he is the one who pays the bills.
The thing is that I'd like them to heal some childhood trauma and be more loving towards each other and other people, It would be great if they could find spouses but that's difficult to encourage, my goal is that their home is inviting and relaxing, so they feel good in there, they have more visitors and don't end up alone (as they never had children, and we, their niece's and nephews are their cousins children)
My aunt is very keen to be cruel, as her mother was, and her grandmother too, well, we know the story will repeat and she deserves better, she is like that because she is the result of a society, a time and an education that didn't help at all, but she's a good woman. And I want her to feel safe and loved, so she can drop her armour and heal, and the only way I figure I have a chance of doing it is through feng shui well applied for the case (because therapy and other solutions are entirely up to her)
Could you give me any advice to help them out?
I.e. if my Airpods case has exactly one full headphone charge left and the headphones are fully dead, will they both go to half a charge, or will the full charge somehow move from the case to the headphones?
Hi, I'm looking for advices concerning one PC in a campaign I'm GMing.
So I have 3 players and when they created their characters, they wanted to use foci outside of the recommendations of the source material. For two of them it turned out ok. I helped them using the source material to keep things balanced but I allowed them to go a little crazy.
For instance one of them wanted to have a split personality with different abilities for each of his personality (I cobbled "Bears a halo of fire" and "Wears a shine of ice" together and I get to chose when he switch from one to the other).
An other one wanted powers over time, so I gave her the ability to redo an action without spending 1XP. I was worried it would break the game so I made a ton of restrictions and it turned out ok.
It's with the third one I have issues. She wanted to play a support, down to earth, character (she don't want to have any magical powers). So I made her an expert with botanic and her first tier power is pretty similar to "works miracles" with the ability to heal people, except with plants. For her second tier power, I gave her the ability to make potions to boost a little the speed of her team. Now I must find a third tier power for her.
The problem I have is that she wants to play a support character and the two other PC don't need much support. So every time there is a new problem, she's often in the sideline not doing much.
Does anyone has an advice how to implicate her more? I worry that she's not as operational as the other two players. I'd like to give her a power that would force her to implicate herself more, but in the same time by respecting her wish to play a support character. It has to be something in relation to plants, all of this without breaking the game.
I really enjoy this game, but I've only been playing for a few weeks. Playing in silver is frustrating since I keep running into people with 3 keeper of the vales and other strong cards. I know the ladder just reset, but I was wondering if anyone has an idea of how long that's taken in the past?
I've been in a splint for a few months. Things have been going well although I still get some swelling occasionally in my left joint and I can hear it crack a tiny bit if I yawn a little too wide (right one is fine). The last time I had a splint adjustment appointment, the dentist mentioned equilibrating my bite during my next appointment (I told him I didn't plan on getting braces within the next 6 months). I feel kind of uncomfortable about this procedure and I'm having a lot of doubt. Is this something that is normally done? Is it risky to do since it's a permanent change to your bite?
Does anyone have experience of carrying out this rite ? Have you found it useful and what was your experience like ?

Long story short. I developed an open bite over a year ago which is likely due to wearing a partial night guard that didn’t cover my molars.
Visited multiple dentists. Last one I was very impressed with. Seemed very thorough. He wanted to see if he could close the bite via equilibration. He took casts of my teeth and did a trial run on an articulator of my teeth. He called me this morning saying he was able to close the bite and would be happy to do it.
I’ve an orthodontist consultation coming up next month so I’m not going to rush into a decision.
The equilibration is tempting but also terrifying.
Anyone have any experience with anything similar?
