So earlier today I found a cute blue dress with white buttons and trim in a free box that was obviously too high quality to be current and reminded me of a flight attendant dress so I brought it home. I couldnβt find the label on poshmark or eBay sooo I did more research and got in to a rabbit hole of fashion history I somehow didnβt know anything about! Iβve always loved reading about Edie and Andy Warhol and the factory, and Betsey Johnson is my favorite mainstream designer. Iβm linking the article here and sharing some of it that I found interesting. Iβm also posting pics of the dress (definitely needs ironing lol, just took a quick pic!). If anyone has any idea how much it would cost or has any other info about it (I can find things about the Youthquake brand but not Juniors by Youthquake specifically, which Iβm assuming is the same thing?), that would be amazing! I may try to sell it but it does fit and is totally my style...

She was βyoung and kicky and with-it,β Mademoiselleβs Locke remembers. So when Young called looking for ideas, Locke didnβt hesitate to recommend her. Johnson still remembers her first meeting with Young: βI had all these crayon drawings, and I went to meet Paul and there he was, drawing with crayons.β She was hired on the spot. ... βIt was a very innovative time for fashion,β says the vinta
