I found a par of apple EarPods in their case in the north valleys area. They connect to my phone with a very specific user name. If you think these might be yours (or someone you know) send me a message and we can confirm.
My beautiful girlfriend was diagnosed with High Functioning Autism a few months ago. For most of her life she has had to listen to music 24/7. She hates being in silence because she will go into panic mode and according to her, she will use a single Earpod and alternate between her ears throughout the day.
However, these past three days she has been getting splitting headaches and dizzy spells even when she's not moving. So we nosed around and figured it was ear inflammation, and I made the connection that headsets/earpieces tend to create a perfect environment for bacteria in the ear, and this could be the cause. We are trying to find a way to counteract this because having an earpiece in her ear at all times is a necessity.
I have two questions.
My dad says the Bose are better than airpods, but Iβm not sure, I looked reviews up and the only thing deterring me from getting the qc are the fact that the case is so big, so Iβm unsure.
Could someone please confirm whether Microphone works on Pixel devices ( the one which has 3.5 jack like Pixel 5a) with wired Apple Earpods with 3.5 jack male? I want to buy cause I like the clarity and simpleness of Apple pods... But I don't want waste money
I have wireless headset but microphone is too sensitive there ( suitable only for meetings...)
Would be very glad to hear experience, or someone might have this kinda combo and can check for me, tones of love & thanks π
My EarPods are louder and have better sound then my AirPods. Is there something I can do to make my AirPods better? I am using an 13 Pro Max for the music.
I've been struggling with finding the right Bluetooth headphones for myself and I just want to vent a bit. A couple years ago I found a pair of headphones that were nearly absolutely perfect for me called the Fiil Active: picture. What I love about these headphones is (1) they are connected by a tether, making them easy to take on and off without fear of losing (you can drape them around the neck like a necklace), (2) They have magnets on the backside that make them click together say they stay secure when you take them off (doing this also makes them pause the music), (3) they include the little ear nub that helps them stay secure in the ear without applying much pressure on the ear canal, and (4) they look relatively small and sleek when you are wearing them. Only complaints would be not a great sound quality and the tether being unbalanced and sliding sometimes due to weight of the control.
What is frustrating me is this: these headphones crapped out on me after two and a half years (I'm not mad, for only $30 I definitely got my money's worth out of them). I was looking for a replacement that had the three benefits listed above, and I basically found nothing. Bose has an ugly, bulky pair that has middling reviews and is not magnetic. Sennheiser is similar. I briefly thought about the Beats Flex, especially due to the easy integration with Apple products, but I heard it has similar sound quality issues as other Beats cans and relies on pressure to stay in the ear.
So what gives? Why are all the latest and greatest bluetooth earpods made as little inserts that require a separate carrying case? Why the lack of great eartips like the Bose Stayheartips (I have a wired pair of Bose headphones with these tips and they are incredible)? Why is the convenience factor of wired bluetooth earpods that can be worn as a necklace basically being ignored? In the end I just bought myself a second pair of the Fiil Active, and I'm relatively happy with my purchase, but I wish the big players would adopt this form factor too.
Maybe a stupid question but how do you keep your case squeaky clean? Donβt want to do something that may damage them.
Been using earpods and some random TV programs every night for 2 years as a way to switch my brain off and let me get to sleep.
My older daughter 8yr old got a kit for adding jewels and bling to anything for Christmas and of course she wanted to do my earpods case and I let her.
Now this boring little white case isn't as boring and my 2yr obviously took a shine to it, and the rest as they say, is history.
Just wanted to vent, my thread looking for recommendations will be along shortly and of course my fault completely not the 2yr olds :(
I turned it off, disconnected, cleaned it,and changed outlets but one keeps turning red and blue while the other has no light and the white dots aren't showing up and neither are the red lights. It's so annoying I've been trying for hours.
I got a pair of SOUNDPEATS TrueAir earpods a few months ago and they've been working fine until now.
My right earpod can turn on and all that jazz but it refuses to connect to my phone. I've tried all the online tips I could find like restarting my phone, letting both earpods run out of battery before charging them up again, turning both the phone and earpods on and off but nothing seems to work.
I'm not sure whether its a problem with my phone or the earpod but I think its the latter. My left earpod works just fine, but my right earpod won't connect with anything at all and its so annoying stg.
If someone could please help me out I would be soo grateful <3
Technically, the connection between my Linux pc and my EarPods is by far better than the connection with my Apple TV. Anyone else having this connectivity issues? Thanks
To any of you who also purchased these or plan on purchasing these, I have to say they are really nice earpods. I had the Airpods pro and I would say they are comparable in terms of sound quality, with the Airpods pro winning with noise cancelation. The only reason I have these now over the pros are the wing tips to keep them from falling out of my ears while working out.
But let's get to the case. This case is legit garbage and I say that with no exaggeration. This is cheap, easily breakable plastic you find with Five Below products. Whenever you open the case, the lid rattles with any slight movement. I feel like it's going to snap in half every time I use it. Even in your hands it feels cheap and plastic.
This is a major design flaw and likely used to save money, and or make the airpods line up still feel like Apple's premium product.
With how bad this case is, I honestly think we should be offered optional replacement cases that are higher quality than this. Especially after spending $200 on them.
I recently replaced my Sennheiser MX365 earbuds, which I have been using for years but the left bud started glitchiing out, with a pair of wired Apple EarPods. I am really impressed with them so far and I think I prefer them over the MX365 earbuds, which have been my gold standard for years, and the EarPods were only $15. I had tried several earbuds including a pair of JBL Tune 205s, and to my surprise they sounded very similar to my JBL Tune 215BT Bluetooth earbuds I got a few months ago. I have always found them to be rather muddy and distort easily, though I love the neckband design. I thought the poor sound quality had to do with the Bluetooth connections being lower quality than wired connections but was willing to sacrifice sound quality when on the go for the convenience of Bluetooth. However now I'm thinking there is just something about JBL buds' sound profile I don't like as much as Sennheiser or Apple sound profiles. The Apple prices for their Bluetooth earbuds seem ridiculously high to me, especially when there superb wired ones are only $15. Even if their new Bluetooth ones sound better than the EarPods, I am perfectly happy with EarPods sound quality. So I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is anything that would very closely resemble the EarPods sound profile around the $50 mark instead of the $150 mark. I am considering the SoundPeats since there seem to be a lot of good reviews of those, but I'm wondering before I purchase them if there are other brands which might get closer to the EarPods. Also, has anyone else found JBL buds to be muddy and distorted sounding? Thanks!
I have a acer nitro 5 laptop with only 1jack that combines audio and mic at same time, but when I conect the earpods, only work as a headset, mic not working. Have checked privaci config but it's everything correct, and audio manger.
My idea is to play any game with earpods and be able to use the mic ingame.
Do I have to buy the apple Jack3.5mm--->Usb C dongle to make it work?
