I've got 4 days left of the two week notice I gave and I can't wait for it to be over.
I was doing administrative and data entry work for a small contracting company of 7 people. The work we do is very lucrative due to being highly specialized and federally regulated and mandated. Lucrative for the owner at least, he pays everyone else in pocket change while he sits on his ass in his 6000sqft. home. He pays his most highly certified and experienced technician, the person who is the entirety of his business, less than you can make working customer support from home.
In the roughly month I've worked here, I've taken the blame for the owner's personal mistakes and been threatened to not be paid because of it. I've heard him threaten other employees with similar, also threatening to fire them if they didn't help him move out of his previous mansion into his newer, larger one in less than 2 days for $5 less an hour, his failure to get his stuff out of the house would have resulted in yet another lawsuit.
I've spoken to former employees that he's sued for quitting and confirmed this with current employees. I printed out a new employee packet for the high schoolers he moronically thinks he can replace us with that includes such gems to sign as "if you lose a pair of work gloves ($10), a pair of goggles ($8), (etc.), we will pursue theft charges with the police and take $50 per item from your pay" and police charges with a $200 "fine" for any lost keys.
I've spent the last week pointing all of this out to my coworkers, keeping them in the loop of all the idiocy I've personally had to deal with, shown them easily obtainable education opportunities they didn't know about, told them about a myriad of better paying positions, and convinced the two most vital technicians to also leave, effectively ending the business, which will void his current contracts (and likely lead to several lawsuits) that he took with no regard for what was physically possible for techs that were already working over 12hrs a day to try to keep up with. It couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.
Edit: I can understand the curiosity, but I'm probably not going to reveal the name of the company in the immediate future. My soon to be ex-boss has a few too many kindred spirits in the comments trying to defend his actions and mocking my own, people who are umbraged and self-important enough to find my employer and show him this post. I'll update as events progress.

What is the most thought provoking/doubt provoking way I can tell members it’s their week to clean this year. Perhaps an offensive quote from the past that will cause questions…?
I won’t say I’m happy with the restrictions now but can I ask people who are so vocal at expressing their displeasure, how do we manage the hospital situation if we were to ease restrictions further?
I know a lot of us sympathise with the hospital staff being overworked and short handed and the government has also explained that easing restrictions too much will stress the infrastructure even more.
Is it a matter of not trusting the government when they say hospitals are stressed? Or is it the lack a concrete plan for the future? Or is it something else?
Personally I know I can be quite upset if I think about the restrictions too much, so I choose to tell myself that as long as I have bubble tea and can climb (climbing gyms can operate) then I’m happy already heh…

A god's influence on the material plane and how they can affect it is very vague in D&D. I'd love to see ways that you guys have had a deity show they're not happy with a PC's actions without just smiting them. Any ideas?

I know it the grand scheme it’s not like “awful” but it feels like it. In an uptier it’s totally boned. The only redeeming factor is the 2 Mg151s. I didn’t have to play it long (20 games tops) but I wanted to quit the whole time. Maybe ppl like it idk but it has no redeeming qualities in my eyes. Rant over.
For me it was cilantro…Grew them twice in different pots at different times and was able to get enough to make pico de gallo (which was delicious) but both died not too long after that…gave up and raised Ally the Aloe until my mom accidentally killed her from too much sun…
So a while back me and a group of friends decided we wanted to do a Marvel Inspired Homebrew with me as a DM. there were 7 of us Not counting me and each character was an adaptation of Marvel characters with 1 or 2 homebrew powers. We had a Tiefling Artificer based off of Iron Man that could build armors for himself and sometimes others with limitations so he couldn't be OP, An Elf based off of the Hulk that had a curse placed upon him that transformed him into an Orc under extreme stress that he sometimes had control over also with limitations, a Human enhanced with a magical potion based off of Cap, an Aasimar with exceptional aim with a bow based off of Hawkeye, a water genasi spy based off of Widow, a size changing Kobold reminiscent of Ant Man and the topic of this story which was a Tabaxi Rogue based off of the Winter Soldier. The player who played the Tabaxi who we'll call Void had ideas for his character that at first seemed harmless but eventually grew into big problems. He suggested his character be far away from the group at first not joining them for a minute as well as getting solo assassination missions which he could use to collect XP. I told him I liked these ideas but eventually he would be joining the party as my homebrew character an adaptation of Fury who stayed out of things unless really needed, required the group together to form an Avengers style team. He agreed and for the first few sessions everything ran smoothly but by the time it came down for him to join the party he pleaded that his character be allowed a few more missions solo while sometimes joining the group on missions as he had been. I agreed under the deal within the next 3 sessions he HAD to join the party. He apparently didn't like that and although he joined the group refused to really do much unless it was to further his own gain or mess with the players and I laid it out that I was ok doing some of his little theatrics because they were entertaining and added some layers to the story and they could be used for his character development but he ultimately had to listen to me. He only got worse and the only reason we never kicked him out was because were currently doing a mission that was revolved around curing him of a spell that was used to control him by a shadow organization based off of HYDRA but it got so bad to the point I had to change things around just to make his antics make sense until I got fed up and his character was murdered by his replacement so we co

Hello fellow grandma killers!
So I got an email about an event that I thought about volunteering for until I read that you must be vaccinated to attend. It probably won't make a lick of difference, but I want to send an email to express my displeasure at this policy, especially since this volunteer gig requires a niche skillset.
Additionally, this particular event is being held in June in the US, so "cases" should be down dramatically by then.
I have to remember that many people are blindly following the narrative and stuff that seems obvious to us, is not obvious to them.
What would you include in this email in an effort to get the person to read it and not immediately delete it?
