A list of puns related to "D. C. Fontana"
She wrote so many great episodes :(
Picking this book up on eBay because it was written by Fontana. What are your thoughts on it? Does it clash with any of the new Disco era stuff?

> As a writer, Fontana is credited with many episodes focusing on Vulcan culture and helped blaze a trail for female writers in sci-fi television. She is the mind behind The Original SeriesΒ and The Animated SeriesΒ episodes like βYesteryearβ and βJourney to Babel,β which introduced Spockβs father Sarek and mother Amanda.

> I'd say that about 30% of the info out there on TOSΒ -- on the internet, in other books and articles -- is false. There is a remarkable amount ofΒ folklore about the history of Star Trek, which has been reported in other sources as if true, while so manyΒ unknown facts have been left unreported. For one, the writers whose names appear on the screen often did less than 50% of the workΒ on particular episodes. Gene Roddenberry rewrote the first 13 episodes of TOS almost entirely. Gene Coon handled much of the rewriting after that and, between himself andΒ Dorothy Fontana, and Roddenberry, a good percentage of the dialogue we heard in every episode came from their typewriters, without credit.

>Vulcan's Glory is the tale of Spock's struggle to reconcile his many obligations -- those forced on him by his Vulcan heritage, and those chosen by him upon his enlistment in Starfleet -- to balance the wishes of others against the desires of his own heart.
