A list of puns related to "Crossbar"
Much like the Crane bros I don't know much about sports or bikes so I've always been confused when they're in the bike shop and they ask for a bike without a crossbar and the sales assistant says "you mean a girl's bike?". What does that mean??
Hey all. I've finally worn down my wife enough such that she is interested in carrying her own blade (rather than borrowing mine quite often). Of all the ones she has used, she likes the size of my Spyderco dragonfly but the lock and action of my 940.
I was thinking a mini bugout would be a good fit, bit I'm not familiar enough with other brands' crossbar locks which might be more compact or more budget level.
Thoughts/recommendations?
Thanks
Hello -
I have a 4Runner on lease for the next 3 years so I don't want to make a ton of mods but do want to add some stuff (ordered some rhinoskin seat covers [factory seats are cloth in mine] and a pair of no-drill molle racks for the rear windows already, for example). Mine came with the factory rack and crossbars already installed, I'm wondering if the iKamper Mini can attach to those without issue or drilling, and can they support it and about 300lbs of people inside it?
I won't be camping a ton, maybe 5-6 times a year, and it will mostly be my son and I since my wife isn't a fan of the great outdoors. If she comes along I'll let her and my son use the RTT while I use my Army issue LiteFighter tent on the ground.
After the lease is up I'm probably going to buy (not lease) a different 4Runner as my current one doesn't have any comfort features and is only 2WD. So I don't mind buying stuff specifically for the 4Runner (to transfer over to the next Gen5 that I'll actually buy), but for now everything I get needs to be easily removable at the end of the lease.
If any of you have installed one of these on the factory roof rack, please let me know how it is and if it can handle it. I could get some easily-removable aftermarket bars if needed, as long as they still use the factory rails.
EDIT: Same questions above for the TuffStuff Alpha II as well
EDIT2: I did find this post:
https://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/238595-final-word-rtt-stock-roof-rails.html
Which recommends removing the crossbars entirely and using a RTT that attaches to the factory rails, with its own crossbars in the base. Either that or aftermarket crossbars on the factory rails (if not replacing the rail system)
Is there a way to tap R1 to cycle between a set of crossbars selections? I've been messing with the character customization screen for the last hour and can't find the option anywhere. When I press R1 it takes me to the pet crossbar which does me no good right now. I want to be able to tap R1 and go to set #2 then tap again to back to #1 or to #3 if need be, etc
Who has figured out the available options that fit the 2022 Forester Wilderness and which ones can handle the heavier weight? A list of links to possible options would be most welcome.
I've have had the car for about 7k miles now (few long trips) and am loving it. Looking to upgrade some things a bit. Looking for a good top mount LED bar if I don't have to Mount it on a roof rack that's a plus since I won't always have it attached. Also looking for good cross bars so I can add a basket up top.
Iβve shot a new OBW and am looking g for flush mount crossbars. Does anyone know what model fits into what appear to be latches for them on the rails?
I canβt seem to find them anywhere.
I tried the Thule WingBar Evo 53β but they didnβt fit between the rails in the rear, seemed too wide spread. Was trying to avoid ordering from Subaru. Without the tow package being available I need a way to haul my bikes around.
Edit: Will see if the 50β bars will work. Evo Raised Rail feet worked perfect.
I tend to go through stages if hitting the post/crossbar, for instance I'll hit one or the other 3/4/5 times for a few games in a row then in subsequent games those shits that hit the bar will go in.
Not complaining, I just find it funny that it tends to happen like this. π
Edit: I was going to edit Shits to Shots however I think I'll leave it as it is. π
If I donβt plan to use the roof rack very much, should I install the crossbars? Will they be noisy or result in worse fuel efficiency?
