Confirmed Case in Tilburg, Netherlands. Patient in quarantine, people he was in confirmed contact with while contagious not. Will not be asked to self-quarantine unless showing symptoms or testing positive. Major mass events in the city will not be cancelled.
Iβm currently in The Netherlands and just watched a live press conference. Iβm not a native speaker but Iβm pretty much native level fluent. Patient was not symptomatic during the recent βcarnivalβ event in Tilburg, so it is assumed he infected no one there. Since the people he had contact with have no symptoms, they are not being asked to self-quarantine unless they show symptoms or are tested positive. Mayor sees no need to cancel 2 mass gatherings in the city (football match and equestrian event). The current stance there seems to be that βno symptoms means not contagiousβ. People should just be sensible, wash their hands more and cough in their elbow or a tissue, not their hands. Face masks are deemed unnecessary at this point. Again, Iβm not a native Dutch speaker, so feel free to correct me if I missed something.
Source is the Dutch national broadcaster NOS which held a live press conference at 12:30 local time today.
Considered a reliable news organization but the sub wonβt let me post a direct link to it.
EDIT: here is a link to the full press conference. Iβm not sure if you can view this from other countries or not and, of course, itβs all in Dutch:

Best University cities in the Netherlands? (Maastricht, Groningen or Amsterdam?)
Hey guys!
I am an 18 year old German that's going to high school in Hawaii right now. I will be done with school this May and I really want to go to school in the Netherlands for University. The field I am interested in is Business and I just want to ask your guys' advice on what you think is the best/nicest city to study/ University to go to. My only problem is that since I will be graduation from a US high school, it might be a lot harder to get into some of the more selective Universities! I have taken certain classes that make me meet almost all the requirements for most NL Universities so I will definitely be able to go, however it might be harder for me to get into certain programs. I have primarily been looking at the University of Groningen, Maastricht and University of Amsterdam, so your opinions on those would greatly help me! Feel free to suggest others as well! Which ones am I more likely to get into and which ones do you guys recommend? I would say I am a pretty social guy that likes to go out and I'm also very into sports. I'd generally prefer bigger cities over smaller ones but as long as they're not tiny I will be fine.
Thank you in advance for your help!!

Fun cities in The Netherlands/Germany/Belgium to visit?
I'm in the *very* beginning stages of planning a trip to Amsterdam in late April. We're staying a total of 7 nights, and having been to Amsterdam before, I feel that is quite a bit of time. I personally think that 5 days/4 nights is sufficient for Amsterdam, and would love to either plan day trips from there, or book a few nights in another city. Not knowing much about this part of Europe, I'd love to hear what other cities in the area (that are easy to get to by bus/train from Amsterdam) are fun to visit.
I was originally thinking Bruges for a night, but am reading that it's absolutely overrun with tourists now. Is that the case? Where are some other great places to go?

Question: We live in the Netherlands. My dad is thinking about purchasing a Model Y within now and about a year. Would it be wise to wait until production at Gigafactory Berlin starts in hopes the price gets lowered? (like in China). It would make sense right?
It would make sense right? Cause the USA price is $48000 (β¬43000) and if I order now I pay around β¬58.000 wich is a huge difference. I feel like they might lower the price due to not having to pay import taxes and stuff.
