This is my "What if..." version of the Chernobyl liquidators. I tried to create a nuclear catastrophe diorama where these heroes sacrificed themselves and had to deal with deadly radioactive material.

Svetlana Alexievich's "Chernobyl Prayer" begins and ends with similar accounts. The first one is by Lyudmila Ignatenko, while the last one is by a certain Valentina Timofeyevna Apanasevich of Minsk, whose husband served as a liquidator. Does anyone have any information about Valentina?

The first one is by Lyudmila Ignatenko, whose husband was a firefighter and first responder to the Chernobyl disaster, while the last account is by a certain Valentina Timofeyevna Apanasevich of Belarus (Minsk), whose husband served as a liquidator.
Over the years, we've seen Lyudmila appear in a number of documentaries and interviews, but does anyone have any information about Valentina?

It is quite longer than the playtest version and you can explore quite a lot. We've also introduced voiceover for the lines spoken by Lt. Pravyk - something that we are really interested in hearing your feedback about!

My great uncle was a liquidator in Chernobyl, they once caught a deer in barbedwire. Since they had to kill contaminated animals they later ate it. Still alive today.
