A list of puns related to "Chelsea Handler"
And by Conan's "reaction", I just mean that he had almost no reaction. It looked like he recognized that it was mean spirited and "low hanging fruit", momentarily having a "that's a shitty joke" look on his face. Of course Andy's response had gotten noticeable reactions afterwards, but I always thought Conan should have gotten more recognition for his response than he did, especially because he didn't even try to fake laugh like you can catch him doing from time to time on his Late Night shows.
Does anybody know the episode he calls out Chelsea handler? It was right before she did her white privilege Netflix thing. He was going on a rant how itβs the cool thing in Hollywood to be anti-white and said ββ¦and fuck Chelsea handler!β Lol classic.
Whenever people say the whole idea of crazy wokeness is just a big right-wing myth promoted on Fox News, I refer them to shit like this. From Handler: βIf youβre a man talking to a woman about sexism, or if youβre a white person talking to a person of color about racism, the only responses are βThank you,'β Handler said. 'Thank you for telling me, thank you for spending your time explaining this me and Iβm sorry I didnβt know better.'"
"The only responses".... wow. So say a woman said something was sexist and you didn't think it was in fact sexist or a person of color said something was racist and you didn't think it was racist then what... oh right the "only responses" are "thank you and I'm sorry I didn't know better."
It's truly something. Now what if another woman or person of color enters the room and disagrees with the other woman and/ or person of color that ABC comment or perspective is sexist and or racist... do you then have to defer to their judgement or is deference to women and people of color only required when they are promoting a victimhood narrative? I imagine it's the latter.
Submission statement: If it weren't obvious, celebrities, woke culture, and the illiberalism inherent in these sort of attitudes is an issue Sam rightly cares a lot about.
EPISODE SUMMARY > Handler!? You hardly even knew 'er! But now you're gonna, on a wild ride through pinky rings, $2000 cab rides, and nasal swabs on first dates... with none other than Chelsea Handler. Can you even handler it!?

So I was never dying to hear LVPβs podcast but Chelsea and her was my 2 worlds colliding so I watched it.
First of all, LVP suuuucks at conversation, I didnβt realize it so much on RHOBH because of the editing but sheβs the worst listener ever because 1. She doesnβt actually listen and 2. Doesnβt connect to the person sheβs talking to.
The first half an hour sheβs interrupting, sheβs annoying Chelsea a bit and sheβs fascinated with non-conventional life choices.
This is where it got interesting. They share a life story. Chelsea lost her brother and that affected her a lot and so did LVP when her life changed a lot. I didnβt know this but LVP says she went to grief counselling and got on antidepressants at the time.
So from this point on the interview got good. LVP showed a real interest in how this happened to another woman she actually βlooks up toβ and she was very inquisitive about how you find someone that you trust with this etc. How you let someone guide you through emotional stuff and shape you in a way. She was really interested as she saw a common thread in this tragedy and how it affected her.
Chelsea, I assume does not watch RHOBH, and does not βknow herβ as much as we do, so she did her shpiel a bit with jokes about therapy where I hoped if this was off camera they couldβve had a heart to heart.
So my 2 takeaways from this are:
What do you guys think? Anyone watched this?
During the opening remarks of the Fred Stoller episode, he and Adam are trying to encapsulate the late night hosting drama for the folks at home, discussing who might take Lenoβs spot. They run through various names and then Norm says, βChelsea Handler beats βem all, and no one seems to care.β
Link to the Fred Stoller episode. Jump to about 7:30.
So, what Iβve always wondered is, was this off-handed comment an honest opinion? Was he really that big of a fan of Chelsea? Did he think she was funny or was he just expressing bewilderment that Chelseaβs name was never really thrown out there as a serious contender?
I donβt personally think sheβs funny and I also donβt think she would play well in that traditional late night host spot, but thatβs neither here nor there - Iβm just wondering if anyone has an opinion on this very important matter.
Is anyone else so surprised to see Chelsea Handler has gone on Call Her Daddy after the slut-shamey comments she made about being on GGE?
