A list of puns related to "Canton"
I know that in some cantons it's still difficult to get vaccination slots. One of my doctors that's 5min away from Zurich HB still has free slots for vaccination the next 4 days. So If you or anyone you know is still looking to get the Covid Vaccination you can sign up online here:
https://www.immunologie-zentrum.ch/anmeldung/covid-19-impfung/
You have to sign up also on https://zh.vacme.ch first to get an ID and than on this website. But the canton of Zurich is officially allowing everyone from Switzerland to sign up for vaccinations and are no longer restricting to only people residing in Zurich. If you have a Swiss Health Insurance you are fine!
Stay safe and get your vaccine shots!
I received an offer for 92k CHF to work remotely from Switzerland.
I am based in London, UK but living in Italy due to COVID. I am Italian and speak natively Italian and English.
I am in my 30s and moving with my partner (we're not married though), who will probably need to find a new job there. We are both EU citizens, but my partner is not Italian and does not speak any Swiss language, besides English.
My plan would be to use this salary for the first 12 months, while I settle down, understand the culture and bureaucracy, and then apply to IT jobs around Zurich (I am a programmer).
What would be a good place to live with that salary, to afford at least a 2/3 bedrooms house (I will need a home office) that is still relatively close to a city (between 15 to 35 min commute)?
I thought of two options:
I am not sure how much those gains/losses in Tax rate can really reflect financial viability, as I would assume it also depends on housing costs (main expense from my salary, along with health insurance for both of us).
Endo Review:
Dr. James Rudick
4765 Higbee Ave NW
Canton, OH 44718
So, I came out as trans back in Feb. after several decades of repression. Have been seeing a therapist since then. I went with one with a specialty in transgender and LGBTQ issues recommended by several major local organizations, including the county and Psychology Today. In the meantime, I focused on exercising, doing research, educating myself, and looking into various options. Every day becoming happier with myself and who I am. Came across the powers method and decided that it looks scientifically convincing (I have a background in STEM and laboratory management and science consulting) β though I wasnβt quite ready to go on HRT yet, I wanted to talk to an endo, get an idea of my hormone levels, and ask basic questions about heath care in preparation for transitioning later in the year.
Iβm in the middle of nowhere in rural PA (literally Iβm 99.5 miles away from the nearest major urban center) so *any* endo is several hours drive from me, so I decided to try Dr. James Rudick, of Canton, Ohio β who trained with Dr. Powers and was recommended on reddit. Spoke to their secretary a week or so ago, asked if they were informed consent, and what was needed to get signed up as a patient. Was told I needed a referral from my therapist β all well and good, donβt mind that. Makes sense really.
Therapist sends them a letter, she gets a call back from the secretary, not only did they deem her letter insufficient (sheβs been writing these letters for 30-ish years) with what my therapist described as βa large number of intrusive questionsβ (she didnβt specify what, just that they were intrusive) and said that they also required a minimum of 9 months therapy before theyβd see me. Thatβsβ¦not informed consent.
Would I need 9 months therapy for plastic surgery? Hell, I just wanted to set a first appointment for the end of the summer to set myself a goal and have a chance to ask questions (like specifically about pre-HRT weightloss vs post-HRT weight cycling, for instance.) I can understand wanting a referral from a therapist, but if I have a therapist whom has seen me for this long, believes Iβm in sound mental health and authentically trans- really if they had told me over the phone this was their policy instead of saying they were informed consent, I wouldnβt have been nearly as offended. There *should* be basic precautions β but they are not therapists and shouldnβt be gatekeeping \
... keep reading on reddit β‘I always heard about it but never been. Is it anything like traders village? Just wondering if itβs worth the drive from Plano to go to, and hit up lake tawakoni as well.
