A list of puns related to "Canonisation"
Probably not realistic, since LEGO is no longer interested, but I don't think it would be a significant cost for them to reproduce the existing pieces and sell them individually to people want them to make the new canon sets without taking apart other ones. For new pieces, like masks, they can just be 3D printed and sold online, and pieces could even be coloured by whoever buys them, but it would be so helpful if they would just sell the pieces in standard grey to whomever wants them. Particularly common pieces should be pretty easy since they would be sold enough. So knowing that they will not, would it be a good idea for them if they would?

(Also I haven't made a post this long before so forgive me if I get the formatting a bit wrong.)
Bionicle was a Lego theme produced from 2001 to 2010, and again from 2015 to 2016, that eschewed the traditional bricks, tiles, and studs in favour of an array of more specialised parts geared toward creating robotic-looking characters, based on the Technic system.
Lego were in something of a financial rut at the time, and while they'd enjoyed significant success with the launch of Lego Star Wars in 1999, they were having to pay a portion of that money to Lucasfilm, and even today, licensed sets go for a higher asking price than regular ones. Lego were keen to have their own Star Wars, and in a then-unusual move for them, aimed for something similar in tone to the franchise that inspired this move.
The result paid off, and Bionicle pulled Lego out of its rut, something that disgruntled Bionicle fans will frequently bring up whenever they feel that the theme isn't being treated with the respect it deserves by Lego.
Going over exactly what Bionicle was and is would take hours. No, seriously, there are two Bionicle lore retrospectives on Youtube that cover (almost) everything, that clock in at 5:19:09 and 6:24:27 respectively.
If you want a more bite-sized coverage of what made Bionicle so special with a look at the toys themselves as well, then I'd highly recommend user Nick on Planet Ripple's video on the topic, made as the grand finale to his Lego Rewind series that explored older Lego themes as a whole. It's still 1:19:21 long, but that's just what you get with Bionicle.
I would be remiss to go through this whole rotten saga without introducing the two titans of the original Bionicle community: Biosector01 and BZPower.
Biosector01 is a fan-run wiki that might just be one of the most comprehensive wikis on the Internet. Everything Bionicle-related is there, cited and linked to a thread or statement by Lego or series main writer Greg Farshtey. They pride themselves on accuracy, and are the

18 AUGUST, ANNO DOMINI 2020
TO ALL WHO BEAR WITNESS IN CHRIST'S GLORY, GREETING:
KNOW WE, PAPA FRANCISCUS, PONTIFEX MAXIMUS, BISHOP OF ROME, do this day, declare and affirm that one HENRY JOHN TEMPLE, having lived in true accordance with the word of Christ, and performing deeds through the grace of the Heavenly Father, is to be declared and revered now and for ever, as a SAINT and do order him admitted to the Canon and the College of Saints. And further We do affix this EIGHTEENTH day of AUGUST as a day of feast in the name of Saint Henry John Temple.
SO ORDERED, by the Grace of God, by His Supreme Pontiff on this Earth, and commanded to all those who share in Christ's mercy. Amen.
For a couple of years now I have been writing a story for an already canon Chapter, the Champions of Thanatos, which has only appeared in "Adeptus Astartes: Successor Chapters" (Limited Release Booklet). The Chapter itself doesn't have any information other than a symbol and a paintscheme (Black and Bone White). I think that with how the current story is developing new Chapters could make the canon more interesting. Also the fact that it's already an existing Chapter makes my story a bit more likely to be chosen if there's any need.
Here are my thoughts. Starkiller: He would only work if he was less distinguished in canon and as an inquisitor that Vader takes an interest in. I imagine Vader could plan to take him on as an apprentice but then Starkiller would see the terrible things that the empire was doing on his home world and defect to the rebels before being hunted down and killed by Vader. Mara Jade - I think if there is time for Leia to be trained by Luke, Mara Jade could fit in inside canon as a part of Lukeβs adventures between ROTJ and TFA. I think possibly having her die or leave the Jedi around the time the academy falls would further solidify why Luke would want to go into exile. Snoke or Ochi could possibly kill her. Abeloth - Having a threat for Luke and Ben and the Jedi students to deal with during the time after the fall of the empire could work and having the connection to the Morris arc in the clone wars would be cool. It would give a reason for the Jedi to be largely inactive in the republicβs affairs during this time and also could be why people like Rey only know rumours of the jedi due to them being occupied with a threat in the unknown regions. Yuuzan Vong - The vong could fit in as a threat for an animated series or live action Disney plus for Rey and Finn to face following TROS. While this would feel like a repeat of Legends it would be a great chance to continue the sequel trilogy and a chance to do the vong onscreen. Kyle Katarn - Old legends Jedi such as Kyle could work as part of Lukeβs academy as nods to their legends counterparts Lumiya- Lumiya could serve as a Ventress-type character for the post-empire period who could run into Luke and Ben as well as characters such as Ashoka and Ezra. Darth Bane - Much like Thrawn was recanonised and had his own novels, a version of the Darth Bane trilogy should be done again and the timeline could be altered to have it during the high republic with the sith in hiding. There could be Jedi in the story but they would have to either die or one could become his apprentice. Darth Talon - With the recent news that Lucas meant for Talon to be a villain in his sequel trilogy, this character could be placed either after TROS or before TPM but is anββββββββββββΒinteresting enough character to fit in somewhere. Prince Xixor - Black Sun could be taken over by Xixor during the civil war as we havenβt seen who is in charge of them since the siege of Mandalore. Are there any other characters you would like to see?
