I’m going for a few days and have one day that we’ve not planned anything for yet. Everyone has suggestions of what to do, but what’s something that you would absolutely 100% do to fill your time?
Does anyone know if there is a free shuttle that the resort offers that will pick my family and I up from the airport and bring us to the resort? I tried to call through the google website and the number didn’t work, and I tried the other number through the confirmation of the booking email and that also didn’t work. If there’s no free shuttle, are there any other cheap alternatives to get to the resort? Thank you!
Soy Mexicano y traje a unos amigos Europeos a conocer el país. Estamos en Cancún (en el centro) y estaremos por una semana. Queremos conocer bares, antros, áreas naturales, etcétera. Quiero darles una buena impresión de México pero todos tenemos bajo presupuesto (queremos gastar menos de mil pesos diarios individualmente, sin contar el hotel que ya está pagado). Cualquier sugerencia es bienvenida.
¿Alguien de Cancún por aquí? Viajaré pronto por esos lados un par de días, pero mi hospedaje me recibe varias horas después de mi llegada así que estaré por la ciudad. Sin embargo, llego bastante temprano, así que quería saber si alguien puede recomendarme algún sitio donde guardar equipaje cerca al centro de Cancún, para no dejar las maletas en el aeropuerto ni pagar un día extra de hospedaje. ¿Alguna recomendación?

I will be in Cancún on December 31. I’m looking at airbnbs right now and they seem pretty reasonable. I’m not sure how long I’ll stay in Mexico and it will definitely depend on how many days they give me when I enter. Is anyone around that area? I have never been to Mexico but speak intermediate Spanish so I’m really excited to go. If anyone has any recommendations on where to go/what to eat (I’m a pescatarian)/where to stay id appreciate it!
I am from México here in our country there's folk lore about creatures similar to Dogman. In the Yucatán peninsula they are called 'Huay Pek'. The word Huay comes from the modern Yucatec Maya word waay which means sorcerer or animal familiar. The second part of the name for the creature, Pek, means Dog. So, essentially, the name of this Mexican cryptid means “shape-shifting sorcerer dog.” I found a curious periodistic note about one going to someones house and rang the bell of that person at 3 am in the morning that was taking place at the other side of the city where i live (Cancún) like 6km (3 miles) from my house. But the fact that it appear in a newspaper knowed for stands out for its yellowish content and its writing style in colloquial language. It is common to find manipulated or simply unconfirmed information, so its veracity is questioned by many people.
