A list of puns related to "Isla Mujeres"
Hey All! I'm leaving for Cancun Friday and staying at an Air BNB on Isla for a week. My 15yo daughter doesn't want to go anymore (go figure). I've been to Mexico many times but never by myself. How safe would this be?
First timer. Will be going there 1st week of February. Staying at Mia Reef.
Im trying to book a trip for 10 days to Mexico and I'd like to stay somewhere not on a resort but in a town or small city that has enough things to do and places to eat for 10 days. Before we've visited Tulum which is touristy as hell but we also enjoyed. And we also visited Isla Mujeres which was touristy as hell but we also hated. Terrible food, overcrowded, dirty, expensive. I have been looking at sayulita as a place that is smaller but also accessible, but I'm worried it's the exact same vibe as Isla Mujeres. For those of you that have been in both places, is it more or less the same or totally different? Would you suggest sayulita?
Will be heading to mujeres in 2022, would love some recommendations on some good snorkel spots either with a tour or on my own off the beach!
Firstly, I know Isla Mujeres isn't known for their diving like Cozumel is, but I'd still like to get in a day of diving. Does anyone have recommendations for a good dive shop on the island?
My friend and I are supposed to fly in from Canada December 27 - January 3. To board our flight home on Jan 3rd, we have to present a negative covid test. If we turn out positive obviously we have to quarantine in Mexico for two weeks. We are unsure of whether to cancel or to just go despite all this Omicron chaos. Any idea if itβs bad on Isla, and are there restrictions that would make our trip not very fun anyways if we do go? Thx in advance
a friend and i are planning a trip to mexico in january - february. i'm aware of the immigration/long term visa thing currently going on in mexico. my plans are to stay between 45-50 days and i'm hoping (praying) with a well thought out itinerary to show and a return flight (or flight to colombia), i will be permitted to stay for my desired amount of time. if not, well, i guess i'm just screwed and i'll cut my trip short and go home, i don't think there's any other way around that.
i will be working part - time while down there and need semi stable wifi. my job is pretty low stress and i don't need to be on video call, just googlevoice, slack, and using our software which works internationally. with a vpn (thinking of purchasing nord, but open to suggestions if you have them), i should be good.
we plan to fly in to cancun, do the tulum thing for a long weekend and spend the rest of our days in the region on either isla holbox or isla mujeres to be closeish to cancun for our flight to oaxaca, then puerto escondido, and flying back to spend the rest of the trip in cdmx with friends/family. cdmx is where i plan to fly out of.
is the wifi in these locations as terrible as this sub makes it out to be? i'm currently at my parent's house in bum-f**k country town, usa for the holidays and we have literally one dinky power line connected to our home and wifi comes in and out (as do the lights sometimes haha) and i'm able to work just fine. i ran a speed test moments ago and it reported that the wifi here is "strong". is the wifi in these places similar? should we nix these locations for other locations that have better working wifi accommodations like playa del carmen or cancun proper? i'm not stoked on the idea of playa del carmen or cancun, but will stay there if that's better.
interested in hearing your thoughts. thanks!
Couples trip. Been to Isla Mujeres a couple of times on day trips but want to spend a few nights. Also want to check out Holbox. Thinking it would be best to spend a few nights in Holbox first then head to Mujeres due to proximity to the airport. Does anybody know of any boat or air transportation to pull this off? Even something private?
Are there places to do pcr testing on mujeres? If so, can someone recommend where, how much, etc.
We want to visit isla mujeres for a day. Whatβs the best way of getting to the ferry?
I am going to isla mujeres from Jan 30 - Feb 6 and was wondering if anyone had experience diving around there. And if so, do you have any recommended outings? I would love to swim with whale sharks, but they suggest the best time is July and august. There is also the MUSA underwater museum which looks cool.
Just hoping to get some thoughts from anyone who has been!
Iβm planning a 7 day trip in December during which Iβm hoping to fit a lot of stuff in- 2 days at an AI hotel & day trips to islands, Xcaret, and Chichen Itza.
Is it worth trying to go to both Isla Mujeres AND Cozumel? Or should we choose between them? As a diver, I really want to visit Cozumel (and I think my family will enjoy the submarine adventure there) but otherwise Isla Mujeres seems a lot more accessible from Cancun. Just trying to figure out the best way to plan our time. Not opposed to staying in PDC for 2 of the days since itβs closer to Cozumel and XCaret but switching hotels will definitely eat up some time as well. Would appreciate any tips!
Weβre leaving for Cancun in a few days for the first time. Not really into sailing and snorkeling as we donβt know how to swim. But weβd like to drive around Isla Mujeres on a golf cart. Besides that are there anything else to do on that island? Ziplining? Any note worth tours we should consider? Thanks Iβm advance!
Hi everyone! I will be taking my first trip to Cancun in a couple months and I had a question about Isla Mujeres. I'm going on a mother-daughter trip with my 11 year old, just the two of us. We're staying in the hotel zone and I would like to visit Isla Mujeres for a day. Would it be safe and practical for the two of us to take the bus from the hotel to the ferry over, rent a golf cart and explore the island (shopping, a nice lunch, Tortugranja and Playa Norte) and then ferry/bus back to the hotel? I'm a semi-nervous traveler and was just hoping to get some clarity on the logistics of a day trip like this. I'd also be happy with booking a tour and going that route, if it would be safer or easier. Thanks for the help!
Heading to Mexico in Feb 2022, mujeres is my first stop. Would love to hear recommendations on where to snorkel, either with a tour or just off the beach myself!
