A list of puns related to "Camisole"
I need to look professional at work, which means my bra canโt show through shear blouses. Iโm trying to find a camisole/undershirt that meets these criteria:
I think they used to make things like this back in the day when women all wore slips, but everything now seems to be long and form-fitting. Anyone know where I can just find something basic and professional? Thanks!
I want to wear a camisole, but one that covers my boobs.. everytime I put one on as pajama wear and pull it up my boobs just weigh it down and at that point its just pasties for my nipples.
I'll take some cute pics then notice my boobs are literally about to fall out of it no matter how many times I pull it over. Hate it so much because camisoles are so cute to me, hahah. I wish that wasn't the case cause I want to wear it braless :( guess I just watched 13 going 30 too many times
I know this sub hates "modesty panels," but I do modesty panels. With camis. You know, to cover my boobs without having a second pair of sleeves peaking out, a weird-ass double neckline and multiple layers of fabric billowing around me. I've even done those fake ones, the little squares that attach to your bra straps they used to sell on TV. Both better options that these modesty t-shirts the Rodlets and some others wear.
I was raised to dress similarly to the girls on this sub- more modestly than the Bairds, but allowed to wear pants. Still, layering was a must, and as an adult I've just kept the style because I'm lazy and programmed and the times I tried to dress lighter I just ended up miserably pulling at my hemlines all day. So, yeah, still do the "modesty" thing. I wear camisoles, I wear boleros over sleeveless shirts, my blouses tend to be on the long side, my clothes aren't very tight. I work in Social Services, the kindergarten teacher look is very "in."
But Jill... I think she genuinely wants her daughters to look bad. Some n-mom thing. That, plus the performative nature of these people's "modesty," I guess? Point is, you can definitely do modest, do layers, without looking like the snowman your younger siblings dressed up last winter.
Just... Jill. Girls. You can get a 3-pack of camis for like $5.99.
My friend and I were talking about bras and needing to wear something for work (where showing nipples is uncomfortable) but not wanting to wear a bra.
I suggested we should try out a few tight-ish stretchy camisoles and rate them. I have some sports tanks and shapewear, but they are too synthetic for my taste. I would prefer wool or a wool cotton blend. But dang are they pricey!!
Before shelling out a bunch of money I was hoping to get some recommendations. We are both fairly small chested. I would guess 34b.
โStrap width is negotiable โWool is preferred but other fibers ok โhas to provide a bit of support but mainly to reduce nipple exposure โshelf ok โpadding (if not a lot) ok
Thanks so much !
Hello. Iโm having a heck of a time trying to find a camisole set for sleepwear for my wife. Iโm planning on getting her a set for Christmas. I like to research stuff before I make a purchase to make sure Iโm getting quality or good value. When it comes to hobbies I know and enjoy, Iโm really well educated and I know where to find information on products (guns, knives, tools, electronics, etc). However, when it comes to clothing, especially womenโs clothing, I have no idea where to look. I can find a set on Amazon that matches the style Iโm looking for, but I donโt want to get my wife something that feels cheap or will fall apart on her. Iโm the type of guy that gets my clothes from Costco so this isnโt really my comfort zone.
Hereโs what I THINK Iโm looking for: Camisole sleep set. It would be cool if the shorts were kindaโฆwell short. ๐ It has to be high quality stuff. Silky material is preferred. Comfy. Maybe no lace? Iโd think lace would be a point of wear and would be scratchy?
My wife is 6โ tall but thin. She weighs about 140 lbs. She wears S/M clothes.
What should my budget be? In my mind $100 seems like a reasonable amount of money, but I could totally be wrong. Should I brace myself for having to shell out more to get the quality I want?
I got this leotard in Navy from Dance Direct and it was ยฃ25.90 including shipping. My measurements are as follows:
I got this leotard in a size Large mainly because of the girth measurement. I have a long torso. I was also hoping the size Large would have higher coverage.
My bra size is 28FF/G (UK). I don't consider myself very busty, but I've had a lot of trouble getting support (which means being able to fully and confidently do jumps) in a lot of leotards, especially those with thin straps, open back, and/or mesh/lace front.
These are the things that are different from your typical leotard - the straps are fully adjustable, there's a bra band with hook and eye closure and thin, non-wired triangle cups that doesn't add volume with elastic mesh in between.
I think this leotard definitely provides more coverage for busty dancers, and you get a lot of flexibility with the adjustable straps. However, it doesn't really offer much support because the band is not a snug fit (which is expected because this is a size Large but my under bust measures 27"), and the cups are really small on my bust. Some parts are also too loose on me, but I think the Medium might end up too short. I will take a class in this and report back.
About 5 years ago I some that were not stretchy and held up well. They kept their shape throughout the day. Color doesn't matter. I'm a med or large but size doesn't really matter much either. BTW the ones I got before are no longer being made.
I hate shelf bras and the elastic band that comes with most padded tops. I am looking for any padded top where the hem is around the waist line or lower and without any elastic band around my rib cage. Thanks y'all!
I'm a week post surgery and having some pain problems. Doctor suggested it is from a lack of support shirt/tops. I have the camisole style one they sent me home with, but I'm having trouble finding any additional ones online that don't have boob prosthetics or cups for female reconstruction. What do you all use? Links appreciated!
I am clueless about camisoles so I need some help.
I've been considering replacing my bras/bralette with other alternatives and camisoles seem like the best option for me even though I've never worn them before. What I don't like about bras is that the band around my ribcage (no matter how fitting they are) is causing me some digestive discomfort, restricted breathing, and red marks from friction.
I think the camisole can help me but is it okay to wear them as bras and underneath my long sleeved blouse for work? I saw some posts recommending them but I'm under the impression that they are worn as a standalone or for casual setting instead of a professional setting.
Thank you!
