A list of puns related to "Taffeta"
Iβm planning on making a few different early bustle outfits, at least one ball gown and at least one day dress that are each out of a silk taffeta that is not especially heavy, but not especially light either (for those who are familiar with it, itβs Renaissance Fabricβs store exclusive taffeta). I know flatlining is important for this era, but Iβm not sure what fabric to use that wouldnβt be too light or too heavy. Iβd prefer to use cotton for the flatlining for economyβs sake.
Side question: if I used a cheaper but more lightweight silk, like a China silk, would it still be too light for a bodice if I used a thicker fabric to beef it up?
