A list of puns related to "Bridgework"

30 years after vasectomy
I too had the so-called "it's nothing" op which also has been the worst decision of my life, as ever since my vasectomy I have not been able to sit without being in pain.
If I had been given the whole truth about vasectomy problems I think we would have carried on with our then contraception and I would have saved myself an awful lot of pains and suffering.

If only I had been given the TRUE facts on vasectomy problems I need not have had over thirty years of pain. After my snip, which I was told was "nothing much" I have never been able to sit in comfort, yet when I went back to the clinic they reckoned I was the only patient who had complained and that anyway they could not do anything for me. Yet the NHS only now admit one in ten vasectomies end up with long term pain. Why has it taken thirty years to at least warn patients of the VERY high risks of vasectomies. Giving men a false sense of anything going wrong has just not been fair.

I have been one of many who have suffered from PVPS. For years I found it difficult to go to the docs (embarrassed) but the pains are always troubling. With all contraception methods apart from sterilization, you can stop using it, if you get side effects, with a vasectomy you are lumbered. DO NOT have this outdated op.

Doctors have always made light of my snip problems, some even saying it is only in the mind. What a load of bull!! This op has been the worst decision of my entire life. I was never told of the many things that go wrong.

Best advise I can give is cancel your op and save yourself a huge risk of pain for life.

I got a couple cases today were somewhat out of the normal for bridgework, snapped some photos, and was thinkin about makin a imgur album and sharing
Any interest?
Hey dentists. I had an extraction of tooth 4 due to decay/abscess a couple weeks ago (posted under a throwaway called myteethmyteeth but bored with signing in and out plus have gotten over my embarrassment). I'm going in in a week and a half for a comprehensive exam and cleaning to see what fillings need to be done before we start on my bridgework.
In the meantime I've done a lot of reading online and on /r/dentistry and in addition to overhauling my dental hygiene I've been reading about how crooked teeth and incorrect spacing can cause future issues. I have wide spacing in the front of my mouth and extremely tight contacts in the back that make flossing difficult and painful. I have no wisdom teeth (they weren't removed, I just don't have any).
I've been thinking about talking to my dentist about Invisalign. Based on my reading, because orthodontics moves each tooth independently, patients with bridgework are not good candidates.

My q's:
Thanks. You guys are great.
The funeral director was asking us what we think Mum should wear in her casket.
Mum always loved to wear sarongs (fabric wraps that go around the torso and drape downward a bit like a long skirt would), so my uncle suggested that she wear a sarong in there.
The funeral director looked a bit confused, as did some of our family members, to which my uncle added:
"What's sarong with that?"
I started laughing like an idiot. He was proud of it too. The funeral director was rather shocked. We assured her, and our more proper relatives, that Mum would've absolutely loved the joke (which is very true).
His delivery was perfect. I'll never forget the risk he took. We sometimes recall the moment as a way help cushion the blows of the grieving process.
--Edit-- I appreciate the condolences. I'm doing well and the worst is behind me and my family. But thanks :)
--Edit-- Massive thanks for all the awards and kind words. And the puns! Love 'em.
