A list of puns related to "Blocker"
I have seen this on Twitter and was wondering if it was true?
Birth control pill* (how did I make that typo lol, P and B are far away)
It would be much harder to make an argument for HRT. That requires more specific doses and monitoring from a doctor.
But is it possible for some over the counter puberty blockers? It would also be much harder for someone to tell you are taking them compared to HRT, making it easier to hide. If a sort of universal pill is possible, like birth control pills, I think they should be sold in stores. Would be very helpful.
It is really hard knowing that I still have another 13 months where my body will progress down the male path, even though I have known I'm trans (with confidence) for 11 months. My mom wasn't okay with it, long story short. So I just gotta sit here for another year while this happens to me. Past year has been filled with tons of sadness as changes slowly happen that I hate, and I know the next year will be similar (hopefully not worse..). I'm a little lucky that I'm mostly behind the average "schedule" of a male puberty (example, my voice only started noticeably get lower when I was about 15 year and 9 months old) but that delay only helped for so long.
This is a bit of an intense one so TW for things like depression and malpractice
I really need to put this somewhere, and i think this is the right place for it to be seen, young transgender peoples experiences are silenced and spoken over in the UK so here is my story. Its long and depressing and no where near over but i genuinely hope it raises some awareness about what its REALLY like getting fed through the fucked up system currently in place.
Im writing this laid in bed, missing important schoolwork that makes me happy because im so fatigued i cant even get up to eat. But according to the law this is what is best for me.
For background information i identify as male and i would consider myself a medicalist. Im completely open to the idea of nonbinary because i think happiness should come above all but it doesnt affect me personally as ive never experienced those sorts of feelings - so i guess its just a disclaimer that this is binary focused.
I knew i was transgender since i was 10, i came out at 11, was living as male by 12. The people who are important to me are supportive, my entire family knew etc etc. I had my first appointment with a GP at age 11 and a bit, in late 2015. I was "referred" to Camhs. They lost my name on the list.
Early 2016, i went back and after around 2 months of chasing people up i was put on the waiting list for the tavistock. It was 8-12 month initial wait, this extended to three years. I got very depressed and ended up in hospital. During this time there was no counselling, no monitoring and no support. I had already been living as male for three-ish years and was developing beyond my control, recieving no medical support and facing coming home to letters telling me staff had quit and waiting times had gone up again.
When i got the letter with the date for my initial tavistock appointment i cried out of joy, it was in november 2018 and i was finally getting something after four years. We went to Birmingham and were told the process, there would be between 3 to 6 interviews taking place monthly. I hated the fact it would take up to six months but i carried on anyway - it was the only way for me to access treatment.
The first interview was in November 2018, they told me about the interview process, and gave me questionnaires featuring some lovely questions such as 'are you a hermaphrodite' .
The second interview was in January 2019, i was asked to draw my ideal self post transition, i thought this was good

I live in Arkansas. I dont even know what to do at this point. The governor vetoed the bill and everybody was so excited, but then the state overruled the governors veto. I hate this state. But you wanna know what I REALLY hate? The fact that nobody said anything until it was too late. Instead of people saying "oh go call these people and ask them to stop this bill", people are saying "oh my condolences to the youth of Arkansas." Your condolences?????? If you really cared about trans youth having access to healthcare, you would have asked people to help before the bill was passed. But the majority of the people offering condolences did nothing to stop the bill from happening in the first place.
I will never get why people ignore a problem like this. For some reason they like to think that all Arkansans are backwater redneck confederates, every single one of them. But there are real living trans people here, trans people that need help. I dont get how people can claim to be good but then lose their humanity because they want to stereotype an entire group of people. I just wish that everyone would stop criminalizing trans people.
It was just 4 guardians standing around a flat bank while the enemy just wins. This is the worst I have seen it.
Anyone else with horror stories?

I was a software engineer for a Fortune 50 company and was laid off last year. I decided to create an ad network that bypasses ad blockers and is able to deliver ads to ad block users.
The ad network serves to only compliment typical ad networks like AdThrive. It will only kick in and display ads when it detects that the site's primary ads have been blocked.
The revenue it generates is in addition to any revenue the publisher already receives from their primary ad network.
I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Example of a site using Adfinity:

Note: This is not the tvOS profile.
Have you every updated your device in iTunes, or restored rootFS, only to realize you were blocking OTA? Maybe when you were trying to update to iOS 14.3 with the delay profile?
What about struggling to enable OTA after jailbreaking with unc0ver. Toggling the switch over and over, jailbreaking and rootFS'ing with updates still not appearing?
On an A11 device and want to block OTA, but don't want to jailbreak with checkra1n because of SEP?
This profile exploits the fact that it is possible to enforce a software update delay in a profile without specifying a delay. On iOS 12 or earlier, the delay is automatically set to 30. However, on iOS 13 and 14, the device fetches the latest update but just doesn't show the update.
This profile should not expire, unless a new iOS update patches this "exploit."

First it was refusing to allow your documents to be changed. Because if you are automatically outed to every employer. Impoverishing and disempowering trans people is way easier to achieve. Then it was the bathroom, if you can't use the bathroom you can't be a member of society. It's really that simple. Now it's sports, because if trans women are allowed to play sports they will achieve an additional layer of respectability with athletic accomplishment.
Likewise, the opposition to puberty blockers for children is directly related to integration into polite society. One of the biggest obstacles to trans acceptance is being immediately identified. When you can look at someone and see they are part of a group which you have negative stereotypes it is very easy to assign a whole bunch of traits to them without ever interacting with them. When trans people reach a general place of "they walk among us". I'd imagine it'll be a vanishing idea about what a threat we all are. When the "normal girl" you're friends with was trans "and you didn't even know it".

> However, in recent months, several countriesβ health authorities have conducted their own reviews of the evidence and found the evidence insufficient to justify early medical interventions promoted by WPATHβs guidelines.
It seems that the medical community may be catching up with itself. Sweden was previously mentioned for its failures when it came to early medical transition and broadly applying the Dutch model to minors despite the lacking evidence connected to it's implementation.
This is, understandably a possibility when we move forward with insufficient evidence. And a reason why we often like to have clinical trials of new applications of treatments.
> The hormonal treatment of children and adolescents with gender dysphoria may consist of puberty-blocking treatment initiated at the onset of puberty, and cross-sex hormones initiated at the age of 16. These treatments are controversial and have recently become subject to increased attention and scrutiny both nationally and internationally. In December 2019, the SBU (Swedish Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Assessment of Social Services) published an overview of the knowledge base which showed a lack of evidence for both the long-term consequences of the treatments, and the reasons for the large influx of patients in recent years. These treatments are potentially fraught with extensive and irreversible adverse consequences such as cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, infertility, increased cancer risk, and thrombosis. This makes it challenging to assess the risk / benefit for the individual patient, and even more challenging for the minors and their guardians to be in a position of an informed stance regarding these treatments.
> A highly publicized court case in Great Britain shed light on this issue and in a recent ruling (December 1st, 2020), established overarching problems associated with puberty-blocking treatment. Further, the ruling specifically establishes that it is highly unlikely, if at all possible, for an individual under the age of 16 to give informed consent to this treatment. For individuals between the age of 16 and 18, the court considers it advisable to request court approval before starting hormonal treatment, since the treatment should be considered experimental. As a result of this ruling, the NHS (National Health Service) put an end to initiating hormonal treatmen

I was pre-approved and then rejected for Tangerines credit card. In the rejection letter it says I can get my credit score for free from TransUnion, so I went to check it out in case there was a problem.
I went through the process and thought my credit card was being used to verify my ID, but it turns out I was signing up for a monthly $19.95 charge. After speaking with customer service it turns out the charges and details are only visible in a section thatβs typically blocked as an ad.
There was no formal checkout process with total charges, etc. and the other references to $19.95 are in the fine print, so it was an easy (but still stupid) mistake.
