A list of puns related to "Beauregard"
Just a thought, but am I the only one who would love a shirt (possibly sleeveless) with just Nott and a whole load of beauregard puns on it? If anyone has like a list of them or can make them up that would be great. (Thinking of making one myself)
Sorry for the possible mistakes, i'm not a native speaker
There seems to be some cool synergy between Gene and the Key as you can find a central point with a low shroud value, make it even lower with the key, then start bouncing around to move clues there. I am thinking that Ursula would run it best to allow for added investigations on the moves but was curious if anybody else had thoughts?
She was a spy plain and simple, alot of deaths in tlo are because of her and most likely she got people killed in botl. She impeded the war against the titans if she was in the roman camp that would've got executed most likely, maybe a permanent exile. The only thing she did good was get ares cabin to act instead of sitting around like they were before, she even got her own boyfriend killed in the end. Honestly she gets no sympathy from me,she committed treason and she got innocents killed she's no hero,no matter what she did at the end of her life.
Hello there!Lately I've been playing this bad girl and I still can't fully understand what she is really capable of with her ability (maybe it's also poorly translated in my native language). To fully understand it, let's make this scenario: there is location A (with clues and enemies), location B (with clues and enemies, linked to location A) and location C (with clues and enemies, linked to location B).Let's say the investigator with GenΓ© starts the turn in location A and moves to location B; he exhausts GenΓ© and he can: 1) move a clue or a non-elite enemy from location A to B; 2) move a clue or a non-elite enemy from location B to A; 3) move a clue or a non-elite enemy from location B to C; can he also move a clue or a non-elite enemy from location C to B?On another side of the matter, can she move enemies reguardless of them being engaged with investigators or not?Summarizing, if someone can explain to me all she is able to, I would be so glad, because that girl sounds worryingly taboo-like the way I perceive her.
Good heavens, is that another fragrance review by the same guy that did the previous five? Yes, yes it is. Today's fragrance is Monsieur Beauregard from Penhaligon's portraits collection. It was randomly chosen, but after looking at the notes it seems right up my alley! I just might go searching for a bottle for my own after writing this!
I've already written about Penhaligon's, so I'll keep this short. They're an old experienced brand that produces high quality perfumes. I've never smelled a fragrance by them that I've thought was badly put together. Not all are "me", but all are great in their own way! Penhaligon's (until further exploration) is my favourite fragrance house.
π- This fragrance revolves around orris root. This heart represents the violet, powdery and flowery nuances that this perfume has to it.
πͺ΅- This perfume is very warm, lightly woody and earthy with sandalwood and cinnamon. This represents that.
πΆοΈ- Monsieur Beauregard wouldn't be what it is without the spice! Pink pepper and cinnamon are the main ingredients for this.
Head | Heart | Base |
---|---|---|
Lemon | Orris Root | Sandalwood |
Pink Pepper | Benzoin | Tonka Bean |
Cinnamon | Patchouli |
Head: Monsieur Beauregard begins with a big hit of pink pepper and very light citrus (from the lemon). The citrus dies swiftly, and that's all you ever hear from it, but it's a nice addition! Orris root's violet earthiness can be detected here, but it's overshadowed by the freshness, dryness, spiciness and slightly herbal/floral scent of pink pepper. It's spicy as well as floral and lasts quite a long time (about 30 minutes on my skin), well, besides the lemon. πΆοΈππ
Heart: As the head dies down, which takes about thirty minutes for my skin, the orris root begins to take the pink pepper's place. You can now smell the cinnamon's spicy woodiness, the sandalwood's light, soft and milky woodiness as well as the warmness of the benzoin. This creates a very warm, welcoming feel of a scent. Floral yet soft and woody. To me it feels like I'm in a woodland cabin during winter. There's a small fire in the fireplace, I'm sitting in a suede chair drinking hot chocolate (with cinnamon in it, naturally). There's boiling flowers in a pot above the fire. A beautiful, powdery, violet, woody and slightly spicy scent. ππͺ΅πΆοΈ
Base: The base of this scent is quite similar to the heart, only that the spice is mostly relieved of its duties. It still smells of orris and woodiness, although the woodiness

I was rereading TLO and I realized something kinda sad. Silena tipped off Luke about the attack on the Andromeda because he promised Beckendorf would be safe. She only betrayed camp because she was sure her boyfriend would be safe. She never thought heβd sacrifice himself to accomplish the mission, and thatβs the difference between them. Silena was willing to let all her friends die as long as her boyfriend survived, but he sacrificed his life and his future with her to make sure his friends were safe. He didnβt even think twice about it. Thereβs a quote that says, βA hero would sacrifice you to save the world, but a villain would sacrifice the world to save you.β So while I donβt think Silena is necessarily a villain, she is in no way a hero. She, like Luke, made all the wrong choices for what they thought were the right reasons. Neither deserves Elysium, but they donβt deserve the Fields of Punishment either.
I've seen versions of this theory before but as I was doing research and rewatching the film I started think.
Yes, Violet is the most driven and knowledgeable about candy out of all of the kids.
And yes, she is the only child, who's father has business experience, and would listen to their advise.
And yes yes has the traits (endurance and gum chewing) that lends herself to being able to advance Wonka's pet project, The Everlasting Gobbstopper.
So why doesn't she get chosen, and why is her exit scene seem so mean spirited compared to all of the other kids?
The answer, Wonka can not manipulate her like he can Charlie, so he must humiliate her so she never wants to work with candy again and become competition to with Willy Wonka.
Wonk says he could get an adult to run the factory because an adult would want to do it their own way. JUST LIKE VIOLET!
Edit: I am talking specifically about the 1971 version of the film.
Y'know now that I think back on it I literally don't know what the point of that distraction and diversion was besides the cosmetics
I still do kinda miss it though
