A list of puns related to "Balder"
Fuck life
so recently I started doing research on heathenry and I'm very drawn to Balder. I was wondering if it's still possible to worship him since he passed away? I'm just a bit confused and wondering if anyone can explain how that would work. thank you! :))
Iβm still new to the game (just about to go into the Darkroot Basin for the first time) and Iβve used the Hollow Soldier Shield for most of that time. Is the Balder Shield better?
I canβt farm it. Iβve go so much titanite I could probably make my own demon but I need this sword for me build. Plz help kind people
After hours of grinding Balder Knights at Sens, I finally got it to drop.
Here are my total other drops.
6 Balder Helms
4 Balder Armor
8 Balder Gauntlets
10 Balder Leggings
68 Titanite Shards
8 Large Titanite Shards
Started with 10 Humanity and ended with 20.
I hope it was worth it for my Faith/Dex build. So excited to use it!

Looks good man
So by lore only Iron Tarkus went to Anor Londo and all Balder Knights and Knights of Berenike died at Sen's Fortress.
Then why when you kill Gwynever's illusion you get attacked by two human (non phantom) guys, one is the Balder Knight and another is Knight of Berenike?
So very recently, I posted on the trade community for Dark Souls 1, as I was deleting a save that had most everything in the game on it and was giving everything away and quite a few people reached out to me about getting a Balder Side Sword from me. I didnβt actually have any so I looked it up and farmed some for people. My question is, why do people like this sword? Is there something special about it that Iβm missing because it seems like just an ordinary long sword. Iβm honestly just curious.
That's right ladies and gents, it's a Baldr brawl-off, starring: Balder, Baldur, Balder, and Baldr.

Baldr (Myth) teams up with Norse Thor
Who wins?
Donβt get me wrong balding at any age SUCKS, no one wants to lose their hair. But at the age where youβre just starting to figure out life and grow up a problem is thrust upon you that you didnβt even know could happen to people this young. A lot of treatments are not recommended for people this young due to the fact they could mess up your hormones but in reality you should be taking as much as action as possible because if you start balding in your teens that means its the MOST aggressive form of Androgenic Alopecia. On top of that many balding teens still live with their parents and may not be able to get the treatment they need depending on their parents view on the situation. If you go to school or are around people your age there is very little chance you will met other kids who are in a similar situation and are instead surrounded by kids with full heads of hair and youβre almost guaranteed to get flamed since kids are really shitty. And the best thing youβre told to do is to βcross your fingers and hope it doesnβt get that bad, before you turn 18 and can get on proper treatment (inhibiting DHT)β and sure you can be on minoxidil and micro needling and maybe a couple of other things but at the end of the day you wonβt be on a DHT inhibiter like finasteride or dutasteride which is the most important thing when it comes to hair loss. I turn 18 in around 10 months, and Iβve been on minoxidil, nizoral for around a month and Iβm getting a derminator soon, Iβve had to pay for all my treatment and do everything myself because my delusional parents donβt think Iβm balding even though my hairline is clearly receding and everyone besides them agrees with me. When my mom hears finasteride she thinks about the horror stories of post finasteride syndrome, recently Iβve found a way in which I could obtain finasteride without me getting a script and I know what some of yβall might be thinking but I donβt care, Iβm not just gonna sit around, chill out, and let all my hair fall out, Iβm sorry but fuck that shit. Anyways, just had to rant, moral of the story is that balding sucks for everyone but if you start balding after being a teen be thankful that you donβt have to deal with the bullshit we do.
I've got around 200 total hours on DS1:R, and the Balder Side Sword on my pure dex build has gotten me through pretty much all of that time. That thing and I have been through a lot together, and I will sing it's praises until the end of the ages.
Thing is, that was just PvE. I finally feel gud enough to try my hand at PvP, which is a whole different ball game, as far as I'm aware.
So I'd like to ask you guys before I make a complete idiot of myself: is BSS a viable PvP weapon for pure dex, or should I start practicing with the great scythe or something??
###Balder
(Spoilers below)
(Also, since this character is from Bayonetta*, some gifs may be slightly NSFW)*
As the inheritor of the Right Eye of Light, Balder showed great promise in becoming a powerful Lumen Sage. However, he broke his clan's one unbreakable tenet of faith, consorting with an Umbra Witch, begetting a child. As punishment for their crimes, Balder was exiled, and his wife, Rosa, was imprisoned.
From this singular union, the balance of Light and Darkness was shattered, and threw the once harmonious clans into turmoil. A great war consumed the powers, ending in the Umbra's favor. Balder, in response, launched the Witch Hunts, and with the support of humans who began to fear the witches dark power, they condemned and hunted down the remaining Umbra.
Within the following five centuries, Balder became a prominent figure in the city of Vigrid, and upon reawakening his daughter, Bayonetta, his 500 year plan to resurrect Jubileus the Creator came into fruition. Yet, he not met without resistance, and legend has it that the last living Lumen perished against two Umbra Witches.
Time passed, and the legacy of the Sages was thought to be lost. Until, months later, a younger Balder, displaced from his time, once more bearing the Right Eye of Light, reappeared. The man to be known as the Tyrant Sage lives once more β what purpose or reason he has to emerge now is unknown.
Note, there are two "different" versions of Balder, an older, corrupted version of him from the first game, and a younger, "prime" version in the second. By all accords he is just as powerful in both games, only being slighty slower in the first game, but demonstrating greater magical abilities β distinction between the two will be made when listing feats.
Also, if there are multiple notable examples of a given feat/ability, or more than one gif is required for context, others will be listed in bracketed numbers, such as [2], [3], etc.
