I just got a new iPad last night specifically so I can use GoodNotes (and other things as well). I use Canva a lot too. I’m not a good designer but I enjoy creating stuff.
Do I need an Apple Pencil? Is there an alternative that’s less expensive?

I tried « pages » from apple… good app but I don’t know if it’s possible to add a blank page on the document. (Cause if have no place enough on a page to write something, I would be able to create easily a blank page to put right after the page I'm writing on)
Do you know a good/ perfect app to do these things ?

The standard pencil tip is far too slippy for drawing or writing for most people, and therefore a lot of people result in buying a paper-like screen protector. If only apple offered a variety of Apple Pencil tips which had varying grippy-ness and feels so that you could use a standard screen protector which didn’t ruin the screen quality

Didn't really use this much for college so offloading it for $650 shipped, the iPad has a tiny scuff mark on the top left and bottom left corners but other than that no other scratches anywhere and it comes with a 2nd gen apple pencil, original boxes included with the charger and cable. Also has a zagg screen protector applied on it and will come with a generic flip cover that I used on it. Thx!

I used these when I needed something to annotate PDFs in my classes and to watch shows/movies, so usage has been light. Not used for gaming or intense drawing/content creation. I have available a 3rd-generation iPad Pro 12.9" with 64 gigabytes of storage. There is a screen protector installed, and I cannot discern any scratches on the screen. There is some cosmetic wear on the port and on the sides, but nothing major. Overall, there is nothing wrong with the device--please note that iPadOS does not have a battery health indicator, but the battery life in my experience has been fine.
I also have for sale a Smart Folio Keyboard that has some wear. For example, the spacebar has some wear marks that are not possible to wipe off. There are also some minor wear marks throughout the keyboard, but nothing that affects functionality or looks egregious. It functions fine.
Finally, I have an Apple Pencil 2 with an engraving of someone's name. This is not my name as I am the second user. There is a small cosmetic mark by the engraving. Price reflects this.

I've got a Windows PC and just got myself an iPad with an Apple Pencil. I've grown accustomed to taking notes in class on my PC in a hybrid sorta format: I had a compact whiteboard that I'd use to take notes in class, then snip a picture of it, and it'd sync automatically through the My Phone app. Then I'd just save it. The whole process was pretty much seamless (3 seconds for the whole sequence of actions).
An example:
People with similar workflows on iPad, how do you do it? I'm planning to make sure my workflow is streamlined in preparation for the next semester!
Also, if you're using apps other than Notes, what are you using and how?
