A list of puns related to "Angle Of View"
I was just inspired to post this after seeing a Brooklyn angle (chur, OP!) - it got me thinking, what's the best angle of the three thousand degree spectacular viewscape that is Wellington harbours?
When I'm up in Brooklyn, I prefer trying to spot as far south as possible. I like the Mt. Vic summit angle because it's 360 degrees. But I also like the Oriental Bay sea level-angle of the CBD buildings atop the sea, with Te Ahumairangi hill framing it like a mini-Hong Kong Island.
What's your favourite angle/view of the harbour?
Best newcomer for me is Waihinahina Park overlooking Petone/Hutt + harbour, wonder how many Wellingtonians have yet to make it all the way up there?
Thought I'd make this post as an informational because some people still think that good TNs have these side views http://yogit.ro/wp-content/uploads/TFT-vs-TFT-IPS.jpg (the bottom in that example is literally inverted colors!)
Disclaimer: These cellphone photos were taken of the S2716DG A09 revision. . My cellphone's camera isn't top quality. Makes the screen look a lot lighter than it actually is in real life. An interaction with the backlight I imagine. In real life, the colors look crisp. With that in mind...

Bottom is the one with the most noticeable difference. Looks nowhere as bad when seen by the eye as I explained above. And bottom also happens to be the least practical angle to be looking at your screen from anyways.
White - I have seen good and evil in this world. And I know the joy, the beauty, and the simple magic of goodness is more powerful and more important than anything else. I will always choose that goodness over any alternative, that torchlight in the deepest cave, simply because it is all there is that matters for the world we should build.
Lightest Gray - The pain of evil is sharp, and there are times when I can only cower before its strength, and even let it slip into me, taking some piece of me for its own. But all it has ever taken is the slightest flash of good for my rosy outlook to return. And knowing the way the world could be, I could never let it turn to the ash that evil wishes it to become.
Light Gray - I suffer in my own mind, that much is true. I know things to be wrong and I do them anyway because it feels so good, and I can only atone through a vow to never repeat the deed. The temptation may persist, and I struggle, but my increased quelling of the beasts gives me strength. I have grown much, I have learned from my mistakes and how to forgive, because it is all I can do to forgive those who have done wrong, for then I and they can learn to do better.
Lighter Gray - Right and wrong and the ability to distinguish it for myself, yes, I have that quality. If I know what is good, I would be a fool to choose against it. But there are times when it seems like the right may not be right, and the answer lies somewhere in between two evils, and an evil must be chosen, the lesser. I think evil is a part of this world, and we must accept it, but never embrace it.
Gray - I have fought my battles. I have done my goods, and they have been praised. I have done my wrongs, and they have been shunned. I have amended some of the bad things, and I have regretted some of the good things. I have wallowed in misery over my own failures just as I have seethed with righteousness in wrongful vengeance. Whatever comes, I can only promise I will meet it the only way I can, which is with everything I am at the time when it comes.
Darker Gray - I see myself as a normal man, doing what I can, all I can. It happens that there are times when I feel a desire to do wrong, and I do it without remorse, because if I felt such desire I was justified in the deed. The pain of others is necessary for their improvement. This world is not forgiving, not to me nor any person Iβve ever met, and if I can bear that lesson to others I am not so bad as they think I am.
Darkest Gray -

I donβt care if this is unpopular, but this is how I feel:
honestly Chrisβ arc kinda speaks to a lot of us bc considering how a lot of superfans want to play a βperfect gameβ to the end and win bc thats how you picture your game in your head, reality can be a bitch and slap the shit out of you and say shit wont go your way all the time, wake the fuck up and deal with what your given
Itβs an amazing metaphor for lifeβ
When youβre smacked down, its about how you get the fuck back up, itβs not always about being on top
If you think everything will go smooth for you in life I kinda feel bad for ya
Ive grown from my experiences from funcking up more than when Ive had it EZ peezy
Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
Hello everyone, first of all, the game is great. I didn't get to play in a few months and starting now. I'm happy there is so many updates. Unfortunately I discovered a rather weird bug: I cannot switch the angle holding nor the direction my view faces the mouse wheel without the whole screen going bananas. It is incredibly sensitive and cannot be controlled. Its a game of luck at this point. I tried two different mouses as well, so that doesn't seem to be the error. Is there a way to fix this issue? The the buttons are turning to slow...
How much of one's visual field is the object you're tracking supposed to take up, as it moves back and forth?
For example if you're tracking someone's fingers, then the fingers could potentially move back and forth extremely narrowly (at the extreme they wouldn't be moving at all), or they could potentially be moving back and forth very broadly (at the extreme this could be very painful for the eyes). Presumably the optimal amount is somewhere in between
I *think* the proper quantitate answer would be measured in degrees. In particular, what's the angle between where the tracked object is located at the left extreme, and where it is located at the right extreme. The human visual field is 180 degrees (or so), so that would be the max possible. And an angle of 0 degrees would correspond to an object not moving at all. The optimal angle must be somewhere in between.
(Optional Footnote: You might initially think that the answer should be in feet/meters instead of degrees. But I think that's not quite right, because it depends on how far away the object is. If an object is hundreds of feet/meters away, for example, then a side-to-side distance of 5 feet/meters wouldn't amount to much, whereas it'd be much more significant than if the object were almost touching your face.)
