Hey everyone! So I'm seeing a bunch of people wondering where the setlist thread is and I found it! Tonight starts a double-header down in Pelham AL. Now forgive me but I wasn't planning on running a thread tonight so I'm already a shroom chocolate in, but otherwise let's get this show on the road!

... keep reading on reddit β‘I was just reflecting on my experience at the Monday, September 20th* Khruangbin show at Red Rocks. It's now one of my favorite memories ever. It was a sincerely healing experience. Just being in such a gorgeous space with cool people, dancing to my favorite band under the full moon. It couldn't have been more perfect. Even the rain contributed in the most beautiful way. ~a vibe~
I remember it got a bit cloudy for awhile, but eventually the clouds shifted and the full moon was suddenly in view. People started cheering. I turned to the stranger next to me and asked, "Are we cheering for the full moon?" and he said, "Yeah, I think so!" and then we cheered together.
The fact that the show even happened blows my mind. Of course it makes perfect sense. Khruangbin + Red Rocks = probably the most natural combination imaginable. But I was talking to my fiance about wanting to visit the Red Rocks Amphitheatre earlier in the year and I said, "If I could see any band there, it would be Khruangbin." Within 48 hours they announced their shows! I know I can't actually take credit for anything, but between my fiance and I, we cheekily talk about how we manifested it.
I've dealt with a lot of loss and grief within the last few years, which makes it hard for me to listen to "White Gloves," even though it is an amazing song. I usually skip it just because it's too heavy for me at this point in my grieving process.
It was raining when they played "White Gloves" at the show and it ended up being a very emotionally cleansing experience. Listening to it live kind of forced me to confront some feelings that I've been tucking away. The whole experience of hearing that song live was very "Killing Me Softly." Fortunately, we had made friends with the people standing next to us. When the song started, I immediately said, "Oh, this might be hard" and we actually had a big group hug during this moment?? It was very silly and sweet and changed my experience with the song for the better.
This gorgeous memory reminds me how beautiful life is. I'm so glad I was there to experience it. Khruangbin has been the soundtrack to my healing and I am infinitely grateful for their music. The universe smiles upon us. π
I play on PS4, am I unable to use the San Diego Amphitheater on that map in Sandbox?
Let me sing
in first place
a song of your wretched amphitheatre
let me chant
of your disgrace
let me bring to you
the power of the first race
superior architectural and perform
a rigid fluid solemn blazing dignity
activity repose anger and beauty
let me have you now
as you would be.
It's been quite a while since Caspian last hosted an activity. School has been a bit intense for the son of Thalia, especially when one considers the fact that he also has to help Aput with his own school things. (Aput thinks Cas doesn't know, but the lad is well-aware of how Aput likes to skip school.) Well, he's finally had a chance to breathe, so it's about time that he opens the amphitheatre up for everyone to hang out in.
As with previous activities, the amphitheatre is open for anyone and everyone who needs a space to air out their thoughts, practice their instruments, play their games, or even do some stretching. Cas has laid out the instruments and props, and even set up a few yoga mats if anyone wants to get physical.
It is just an easy day today.
If anyone needs help with the Guild Master, they'll find him experimenting with a new choreography he learned about at school.
Title.
Learned it today while testing out the map for the first time. Its a super cool detail.
Hi all! Iβm looking for a book where all I remember is one scene (helpful, I know!). However I think it was a really popular book so hopefully someone will know!
The two characters break into an ancient theatre (like an amphitheatre) tourist site and make out heavily. They get caught by a security guard but he finds it funny! I also feel like the two characters might have been women?
I realise this is not much to go off, but please let me know if this sounds at all familiar!
First of all, who's going? So excited to check out this venue now that I pretty much live walking distance! Also can't beat amphitheatre acoustics, and an outdoor A&B show just sounds lovely.
I know it's early, and we'll find out more next week, but any ideas on what time shows end at this venue? Any guesses for set times?
See y'all next Friday!
I've googled around and tried listening to the soundtrack (must have missed it?). Can anyone help me? I want to use it for my D&D campaign's creepy moments!

Donβt ask for a miracle in the thread, DM me (I have a link, will send it to you during intermission)
Please donβt award this post. While I appreciate the thought, your money is better spent on a good cause. Some causes near and dear to my heart right now are the Trans Lifeline and the Lilith Fund
