[ROLEPLAY] Bells Toll at Westminster Abbey as Old Guard Deepens Unprecedented Intervention With Tacit Approval from Church of England

BBC -- Bells Toll at Westminster Abbey as Old Guard Deepens Unprecedented Intervention With Tacit Approval from Church of England

[July/August 2022]

(LONDON) Traditionalists in the United Kingdom have sent a strong signal: when things go wrong, this country has its guardians.

The British Army is in the street, exercising de facto control. The time is ticking according to many political spectators, with everyone in the capital terrified that the necessary but regrettable action will be categorized as a coup d'etat if it is not legitimized soon. A scene which resembles Cold War Turkey more than the advanced democracy that is Great Britain, those who have lived their entire lives with constitutional rule protected by strong norms are absolutely shocked by what is happening. The youth, puzzled by what is to come and how their generation will be affected by this great crisis.

There is a new king, William V. His grandmother and father stepping aside, unable to bare the burden of this symbolic, deeply-constitutional monarchy intervene in the day to day politics of the country. Sources say William V is preparing a series of actions to put the country back on track and return to civilian, lawful rule immediately.

And yet -- buried as a fantasy of royalists like Jeff from New Jersey and thought to be of a bygone era where Kings ruled by decree and Britain possessed an unapologetic empire, the ancestral roots of the United Kingdom have shown themselves.

Without a word spoken or a statement released, the Church of England has sounded its support to the British Army and its intervention. It is a clear ecclesiastical vote of confidence.

The streets of London are largely empty, save for necessary travel. The city -- just like towns and villages across the nation -- quiet.

DON....

What is that sound coming from Inner London?

DON....

The ten bells are slowly ringing out from Westminster Abbey.

DON....

The Church of England has voted in favor of the British Armed Forces, cast in heavy metal.
