Your Vehicle is your Ultimate Survival Kit - you can use it to drive yourself out of whatever situation you find yourself in - but self-recovery equipment is key. What possible items should I add to my kit, here?

I've done it at least 10 times now, so I know how to do it efficiently. However, the amount of times I have died and spawned outside of the gates BEHIND the labs, or blown myself up with a sticky bomb, has led me to either find a new session or quit the game when I find out I have to go all the way out there. Anyone else reach this point yet?
Here is a 5 step guide for Rockstar employees on how to make the monkey vehicle recovery more enjoyable for players:
Step 1: give the player a faster vehicle. I can speak for the whole community here and tell you that nobody wants to drive 6 miles(9+kilometers) in a van that drives worse then a cheap whore and has a top speed of 1 millimeter per century.
Step 2: give the dudes in the cars pistols instead of uzi’s. How the fuck am i supposed to stay alive when there is 4 guys in two different cars shooting at me with a shooting rate of dead in one second?
Step 3: give the dudes in cars less health. No joke i shot one of them in the chest 3 or 4 times and he was still driving like nothing happened
Step 4: give us a payphone hit to take out Franklins neighbor. Why does the fucker have to have a monkey as a pet, he probably stole it from a zoo. The zoo wants him dead now.
Step 5: Remove the mission Nobody likes it.

I'm sick and tired of driving to Humane Labs to just rescue a monke.
The best way to get the vehicle and get on with your day (session). Once you eliminate enemies in the lab, mark the vehicle on the mini-map, then open the bay door. Get in the vehicle for the first time and just exit through the bay door. As soon as you see the 2 Mesa vehicles approaching, reverse back in the lab garage. The red circles will disappear on the mini-map and the Mesas will start turning around. Do this process again for the next pair of Mesa vehicles. and wait for the red circles to disappear again. Drive on out of the garage and to your Agency building. The final pair of Mesas never show up and you prevented having a gun fight. If this has been posted on here already, my apologies.
It is well payed but sometimes a pain in the ass, the vehicle revovery. You clean the hangar, get the vehicle and these well shooting lunatics spawn again around you. Its triggered by a timer, i found the bike in the plane, stayed there and they spawned again. But this time i was in a safe position. I shot 4 or 5 who came to the plane door, shot the lazy two who didn`t came to the door and i was ready. It is really hard to flee with the chopper, but i tried to drive out of the streets, so the AI gets confused, maybe that helps a bit. Have fun!
So I was talking to a few veteran friends of mine about mechs and the topic of salvage came up. And someone made an off hand joke about how funny the idea of an Atlas dragging the half blown up Firestarter would be. So does anyone know of any like either purpose made ARV(ARM?)s or modified ones?

I did 2 vehicle recovery contracts - at LSIA and Davis, one just under 100k, second - 105k. After the first one I noticed I didn't get the payment. So I recorded 2nd one for R* Support, and this one I also did for nothing. Currently uploading to YT. Check your bank transaction logs, maybe some of you also work for free.
