Have a strong, centralized and unified Italian state exist before 1600. Is it possible there could be Italian American colonization? or would the existence of Spain or a multitude of other reasons potentially disqualify it from colonization?
Reposted to fix the error in title.
Like are they a world power #1 or are they getting there in the book.

In my current high school J-term equivalent a group of students and I participated in a simulation game on the lead-up to WW1. I was Italy and certain character background information given to me revealed some vague information on the Balkan peninsula. Throughout the game the Balkans unified, starting off alternative history, but through that alternate history I feel I did not learn the true background to the conflicts there. What factors disallowed a unified Balkan political unit and what role did the Balkan Wars play in the conflicts to come in the region?
Title.
Depending on who the leader of a re-unified Russia is (especially if they aren't quite as fond of worker protections and open to foreign investment) could TNO Russia take the place of OTL China and Japan in terms of the US outsourcing industry and manufacturing? The US would be pretty unlikely to want to outsource to the Co-Prosperity Sphere for obvious geopolitical reasons, but Russia (especially if it's hostile to the sphere) could very well fill this position.
Are there benefits we get from having a federal government overseeing the entire country? Or would things run better if each state was it's own country and ran itself as such?
This is very random but, what if the Nazis make a puppet im the Celtic territories? (Britanny (France), Galicia (Spain), Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Cornwall?
Sykes-Picot agreement doesn't happen so the Brits and French don't backstab Hussain-Bin-Ali and carve up the Middle East amongst themselves.
The time separating the phase of formation of the Cretan palace civilization from the phase of its heyday is considered to be the time around 1700, when all the palace centers of Crete and many small settlements were destroyed as a result of a grand seismic disaster, which affected all the most densely populated areas of the island. The exact duration of the chronological pause that lies between the death of the "old palaces" and the construction of the "new ones" remains unknown. Some authors try to minimize it, believing that the construction of "new palaces" began almost almost immediately after the disaster, which explains their rather close similarity with the "old palaces", despite all the differences, testifying to continuous cultural continuity. Others, on the contrary, believe that the entire period following the catastrophe, i.e. the chronological period between 1700 and 1600/1580 was a kind of "dead", from which no significant structures have been preserved.
The "new palaces" themselves, as well as the "old" ones, were repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt, and the main part of the original building was hidden under later structures, and this makes it very difficult to accurately date it. For example, the history of the "new palace" in Phaistos begins with a rather late date - around 1550, the palaces of Knossos, Malia and Kato Zakro were hardly built much earlier. It couldn't have happened too long before 1600.
It is quite possible that it was within the chronological pause that separated the time of the death of the "old palaces" from the peak of the life cycle of the Minoan civilization, which occurred between 1550 and 1450, that a new style was finally formed with a large central courtyard as an architectural dominant.
Of course, it is now impossible to determine with certainty where and how this first happened. Most likely it happened in Knossos, where the largest and most complex of all currently known architectural complexes of this type was created. The striking uniformity of the basic planning solutions used by the builders of at least four "new palaces" - in Knossos, Phaistos, Malia and Kato Zakro, their close to the same orientation to the cardinal directions, the use of the same building modules (the soโcalled Minoan foot) - all these facts combined make it seem that the emergence of palace ensembles was the result of a broad construction program directed from one center, which, apparently, was the same Knossos.

The Republican Party has held control of Florida's house, senate, and governorship since 1999. It has not lost control of these institutions since that year, with a brief exception in 2010 when the state's governor was an independent.
How has this situation come about, and what could the Democratic party do, and say, concretely, to achieve control of Florida's legislature in the future?
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 66%. (I'm a bot)
