A list of puns related to "Transnational Boxing Rankings Board"
What are the Transnational Boxing Rankings? It was created after Golden Boy Promotions purchased Ring Magazine and after the dismissal of the whole editorial board headed by Nigel Collins. After the creation of a controversial ranking policy that hurted the credibility of the Ring Boxing rankings, 3 of the most prominent members of the Ring Advisory Panel left the company and formed the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board (TBRB). Today the TBRB is filled with 51 respected members from 21 countries who are either boxing historians, record keepers, and independent boxing journalists. It's to promote the most unbiased/non-promoter influenced rankings in the fight game. Teddy Atlas, who for a long time had called out the corruption in the boxing sanction organizations, has called the rankings as the most legitimate and hopes fans recognize more down the line.

For the most part fans and pundits have a general idea of how fighters stack up against one another. There's nobody out there claiming that Zhang Zhilei is a better boxer than Deontay Wilder... Except that's what the WBO must think considering one is ranked 8th and the other is ranked outside of the top 15.
What's causing this outside of just blatant corruption? Do boxers have to pay sanctioning fees to any organisation that they want to be ranked by? I understand they have to do that when there's a belt on the line, but surely a belt of any merit would at least try to be realistic.
Also do these organisations not care about the results of fights? A fun example is Hughie Fury being ranked 4th by the WBA while Joseph Parker is 14th! I guess they must have seen things the same way as Mick Hennessy did when he told everyone there were shades of Ali in that ring that night. Robert Helenius is ranked 3rd by the same organisation while Whyte isn't ranked at all. I don't think Helenius won 2 rounds!

This one is a little bit of speculation as there's no good sources for the claims, but I think it's interesting and goes hand-in-hand with what happened to other companies. The full story is on another website (which isn't a great source), but the key part is this:
Anson provided funds to Z e n a b i s so they could complete their development. Then, Anson while taking on a 'visible' long position, they took on a x10 larger short position against the company. This is where it gets juicy. "Anson Funds served as the lead investor for funding Z e n a b i s in the early rounds, influencing Zenabis by appointing their own director, which in this case was Adam Spears, who was still working with Anson in some capacity."
Does this sound familiar? They appointed a plant into the board of directors, Adam Spears, who was an important person at Anson:
You can see Adam Spears on the Board of Directors (poor quality, I apologise)
This is what happened to the company since their "big investment" and the plant:
There's also plenty more that they've done, but Automod keeps deleting my post and I've given up trying to fix it so it gets published...
I donβt have many friends here that have some of these interests and have no clue where to start.

I travel for work every now and then so while subscriptions based activities are not preferred, anything works.
Meet up seems a bit dead in the city from what Iβve seen and I am curious what others have used that arenβt the typical βkc crewβ and meetup.com answers.
Bit of if a rant incoming.
Got out early today looking for a new AV Receiver, mechanical keyboard and mouse, and a few other things.
Good deals? No stock (at 9am).
Have stock? Poor discount.
And retailers wanting me to pay immediately for out of stock items without a guaranteed delivery date? For a 50% discount, maybe. 18%? Yeah⦠nah.
I understand that times are tough for retailers, but 20% discounts or zero stock when we can just buy online donβt cut it, seeing hundreds of people leaving all stores with empty hands, very different to any Boxing Day Iβve ever seen.
Will be interesting to see what the PayMark numbers are on the news tonight.
I have found they generally are pretty close to what ends up getting drafted.
Also, for reference, here is the 2021 board. Interesting.

As part of a project I've been working on, I score draft picks to see who drafts well/poorly. Recently, I'm changing the methodology, but to do so I need historical draft boards/rankings. So far I've been trying to source them from what I can find on Google, but if anyone knows of any resources where I can find some that would be very helpful.
I need boards from 2009 onwards.
Thanks in advance for any help.
I am still doing this despite it being over a month since I've made the last one of these posts lol. This game was kind of harder to rank because of the car mechanic making all of the interesting design choices somewhat luckbased. Also, after thinking about it, I decided I am putting the boss minigames into my rankings here because there are some boards where the boss minigames are required to be that board's bosses. There are also a lot of features in boards I'm not mentioning, because I just don't really care about them, a lot of these features don't change my opinions on the boards much because they are mostly luckbased.
7: DK's Jungle Ruins: This board even despite the mediocre board selection, still manages to be the clear loser. I'm just gonna get the obvious thing out of the way: THIS BOARD TAKES 15 MINUTES TO COMPLETE!! The boards in this game are already way too short with all of the others taking about 30 minutes each, but 15 minutes takes about as much time as the minigame modes in this game. The "boss minigames" are also literally just coin or in this case banana minigames with DK and Diddy. And you also loop around the board twice, meaning you loop around the same board, defeating the purpose of everybody traveling together. The captain event is a fun one but it is kind of easy tracking the barrel with the most bananas.
6: Blooper Beach: Eh I don't really hate this one compared to the others, it just feels the most luckbased out of the bunch imo. I don't like the ending section where the mini stars keep getting replaced with mini ztars (yes mini ztars are actually a thing, it's the minus mini stars) and vise versa. I'm also not huge on the beginning part where the Dolphins and Sushi are both there, switching each other's spots, dolphins give you mini stars, and sushi take your mini stars. I think it's neat but nothing more than that. The captain event is also mostly luckbased, as whether you get to the end of the section or not and get the mini stars is based off of your dice rolls, which are obviously luckbased.
5: Boo's Horror Castle: This one I just don't have much to say about. The Boos chasing you gimmick is mostly luckbased, but there is a slight bit of strategy with trying to sabotage your teammates from it. The ending section can be kind of annoying, because if you are the captain and do not roll high enough to get to the final boss space, then you have to circle around the entire ending part of the board again, and you will pro

7: Banzai Bill's Mad Mountain: This is literally the worst board in the entire series. First of all, this board takes like 10 minutes to complete, which isn't a huge problem considering most of the rest of these boards are less than 30 minutes, but this board has less than 30 spaces total, so yeah that's a problem. And then we come to the main problem of this board, that's right the board taking literally 10 minutes to finish is a minor problem here. The main problem is that the board is literally 100% luckbased. You get to choose if you want to risk your life and continue on the main path, or go to a space that is safe from Banzai Bills. The problem with this is, if someone lands on the Banzai Bill space or rolls a Banzai Bill (which replaces 6 on the dice block which is also a problem) you go back to the beginning of the row. Now this wouldn't be a huge problem, but since this board is so short, THIS LITERALLY TAKES YOU BACK HALF OF THE BOARD, EFFECTIVELY GUARANTEEING YOUR LOSS!! It's so annoying and I hate it, because that makes the only viable strategy to play it safe, making if 100% luckbased just based off of who gets the best dice rolls. Wow I had a lot to say about this board, but I just hate it THAT much.
6: Rocket Road: I actually don't hate this board, (I mean it's a d tier but compared to MP9's boards 6th place was a lot worse than d tier) This board is very close to being amazing, with one big flaw. Thie board is about collecting boosters to boost your way to the end of the board. Every booster multiplies the number that you roll by 1. But here's where the flaw comes in. YOU CAN ROLL A ZERO. And you are allowed to use up to 4 boosters at once, meaning you could potentially win the game by rolling a 20 or 25, or even 15. But if you roll a 0, you likely just lost yourself the game, so have fun with that. Also this is another board where the game usually only takes around 10 minutes, so there's that.
5: Bowser's Peculiar Peak: This board is once again not bad. You're goal is to be the farthest away from Bowser when he literally hammers somebody in the face to end the board off. Unfortunately, this board has a lot of luckbased elements. First of all, there are happening spaces scattered across the board that randomly world you to another happening spaces, which can either make you way more likely to

One of the reasons itβs my favorite is because of the boards, which I think has the best board selection in the series (keep in mind I havenβt played all of Mario Party 7, Mario Party 8 is a mixed bag, Mario Party Superstars is just a collection and Mario Party 10 and Super Mario Partyβs boards are terrible). Even the worst board in this game is still enjoyable, so today I will rank them from worst to best. With that said, letβs dive in!!
#5. Kamekβs Library
This map is above average. It combines two gimmicks that donβt work well together, those being Island Hopping and Mirage Stars. Both gimmicks work well on their own if handled well, look at Spiny Desert and Goombaβs Greedy Gala, but when paired together, itβs like putting pickles in a pudding cup. Well actually Kamekβs Library is not that bad, Iβd say itβs more like mixing peanut butter and grapes. Itβs not great but not horrible, and in a weird way I kinda enjoy it. Something positive I can say about Kamekβs Library is the fact that all of the islands are small and they donβt take a long time to travel around. The shortcut connecting the two islands together for 3 coins is also nice, as it means you donβt always have to land on a Happening Space to travel. So while it isnβt the best Iβd still say itβs alright, itβs definitely better than other worst boards in their respective games like Warioβs Battle Canyon and Mystery Land. Rank: Low B
#4. Wigglerβs Garden
This is your basic starter map, and while there are much better starting boards like Grand Canal, this one still is really solid. The Piranha Plant at the top allows for a good risk/reward situation when you land on the Happening Spaces since the Star can spawn past the Piranha Plant, and the board has a really nice layout and theme overall. But compared to some of the other boards this game has, Wigglerβs Garden felt really underwhelming and not really as exciting. While this board is still good I would have preferred it to have a gimmick to shake things up a bit. But for what it serves its purpose for itβs still really solid. Rank: Low B
#3. Bowserβs Pinball Machine
This is where the boards start to get really good, starting with Bowserβs Pinball Machine. I love the aesthetic and theming of the board, it looks a lot like a casino. But of course thereβs more to a board than a theme, so Iβll talk about itβs layout. Itβs really good, there are loads
... keep reading on reddit β‘8 - Wario's Battle Canyon - Ofc this was gonna be at the bottom, barely any skill involved, you can't really control where you go on the board, you must take the cannons, I don't mind a bit of luck in a board, but this board is just waaaaaaaaayyyy too luck based, very little strategy, and it gets frustrating when you go to a location you don't want to just because you were unlucky. If they ever brought it back it should be an option if you want to use the cannon, and it should have a lot more strategy involved.
7 - DK's Jungle Adventure - Not a bad board, just an underwhelming one, it is a starter board, so obviously it will be basic and easy to traverse, but theres not a lot to remember, I like the junctions and the happening spaces, but this board is just too simple and basic to get a high spot, quite forgettable.
6 - Bowser's Magma Mountain - Pretty underwhelming too, I get it's a Bowser board, but this one is just waaaaaaaaayyyy too punishing, and it's quite luck based too, I like it's setting and idea, but the fact if you take the shortcut or not is already predetermined, makes it so it doesn't have a lot of strategy, the happening spaces that turn every blue space into a red space is unnecessarily punishing too, overall I like a bit of harshness in a Bowser board, but this board just takes the harshness aspect way too far, one mistake which isn't even your fault can really detriment you.
5 - Peach's Birthday Cake - I know, for some it may be quite low, but I still like it a bit, it's quite linear, which isn't a bad thing, I like how many happening spaces it has, and all the traps you can set up on the board, however the Bowser aspect is a bit too punishing, he takes a lot of coins, and then when you get to the star, you may not have enough coins, overall it's a nice board, I'm glad it's remake is less punishing, but the OG is still nice, it's just I like the 4 higher boards more.
4 - Yoshi's Tropical Island - Overall a good board, bit simple to be the best, but I like it's gimmick, can be frustrating, when Toad and Bowser are constantly switching places, and Bowser is way too punishing, it's frustrating to be near the star, then someone switches it at the last second, but it's Mario Party. But I like it's setting, and the 2 islands have something going on in them, overall it's a nice board, I'm glad they made it so Bowser doesn't take as many coins in the remake, but the OG is still fun enough.
3 - Luigi's Engine Room - underrated to me, it's

With the poll that I've ran for MP1's boards, it made me want to rank the boards in my own opinion.
Wario's Battle Canyon. I do love the theme for this board, being a war ground where an epic battle took place. However, anything else about this board is bad in my opinion. I am fine with more RNG dependent boards in Mario Party, however, Wario's Battle Canyon takes it to whole new level, not being able to plan out a route on the board and leave it up to random chance if you get a star isn't fun to me.
Bowser's Magma Mountain. The only reason as to why this board is above WBC for me is because it isn't all that RNG dependent. However, this board still sucks most of the time. Having a 50/50 chance to get a star or with the shortcuts and the chance of losing so many coins to the Happening spaces is really annoying.
Yoshi's Tropical Island. The theme and layout of the board is really good. I love the beach with all the fruit on it, the 2 island idea is pretty fun. However, the happening spaces causing the star Bowser to swap between islands and having to pay just to have another chance at the star isn't all that fun to me.
Eternal Star. A novel concept for a final board with a ton of fun to be had on it. The warp panels bring a fun level of strategy to the board which causes for some fun games. Although, having to pay for a chance to get a star is annoying, even if you do have a good chance at getting it.
Peach's Birthday Cake. A brilliant idea for a Mario Party board. I love the idea of having stations you can buy to steal from other players. The seed lottery is a really neat concept and that losing doesn't mean it sucks as you can get to the star faster. My only problem is that I always have bad luck on this board and constantly get sent to Bowser.
DK's Jungle Adventure. These next 3 were all so difficult for me to rank and will probably switch tomorrow but I do like having a generic Board with nothing really all that special on it, and with being in the first MP game where they were still figuring out how to perfect the gameplay. It makes DK's Jungle Adventure stand out more compared to other basic MP boards.
Luigi's Engine Room. This might be controversial but I really like Luigi's Engine Room. The concept with the opening and closing doors, changing the boards layout is a concept I love, it provides you to think of different strategies to apply to win. And with there barely being any engine themed boards, it causes this one to s
