A list of puns related to "Small joint manipulation"
I think it's worse than nothing and I challenged a self defense instructor to apply it against resistance. It wasn't my idea but my training partner who didn't believe in it. I somehow became the guy to try it on
He struggled for at least 30 seconds and even flipped around my back .. I eventually gave in because I thought he would try something crazy and break my arm by accident and I was new to martial arts.
Anyway, the argument they make is that you apply it after a strike, but just get rid of the middle man then and strike to submission...
What style do you recommend to someone interested in throws and joint locks, including small joint manipulation?
Something I discussed with a friend yesterday, what would be the implications of allowing small joint manipulation in MMA.
Bit of context he trains a martial art called Kobudo Taijitsu and I went along to a few trainings, its very much the typical Eastern martial art with a lot of mysticism elements involved and a lot of it focuses around catching opponents limbs and placing them in a position where they can't defend themselves (arm locks, wrist locks etc.) the punches they teach however are very telegraphed.
I've done a bit of training in boxing and muay thai and the part where they actually catch your arms would very rarely work with proper technique at full speed (my friend agrees with me after attempting it a few times with me pulling punches) but the wrist locks themselves definitely work, its very hard to scramble out of or power out of and you have control of the person in the lock with minimal effort.
So I guess what I'm driving at is what effect do you think changing the rules of MMA to allow manipulation of wrists and as a separate question manipulation of fingers would have on MMA?
As I said I don't think we're gonna see people catching strikes and performing wrist locks but in a clinch, on the ground or during a takedown attempt I think there'd be a lot of opportunities to target the smaller joints.
There's many illegal techniques in BJJ or grappling in general. We are told if someone eye gouges an experienced grappler it would be ineffective., but what illegal techniques would change the game? Ive often thought grips might be easier to break if you can break a finger or two in the process. As for head spiking , man the DDT would really hurt like this video shows
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5G5SjFiSvUs
Would BJJ in general change if your allowed to do illegal techniques? or how about self defense scenarios , would nut shots be the king of defense?
A question popped up during BJJ practice this week. In my Japanese Jujitsu class, it was a part of training to stretch joints to try to develop resistance to wrist locks and arm locks. It was also standard practice to try and resist tapping on a joint lock for as long as you could, the idea being that it increases you pain threshold and may give you a split second more time to escape the hold during a real fight. At the same time, the person applying the lock wouldn't necessarily crank it, but gradually apply more and more pressure. To a man, every person at the BJJ class said that it was utterly bullshit, and that you couldn't actually train resistance to joint locks.
What are your thoughts? Is it valid training or was my Japanese Jujitsu instructor incorrect?
This subreddit is not market/stock manipulation.
Saying "we", or "us", or calling this "a movement", or "our stock", or praising DFV ("if he's still in, I'm still in"), or any of the other multitititititude of DD writers since DFV, is not stock manipulation.
You're mad about nothing. Telling people to shut up, to stop using these phrases and to watch what they say here for legal reasons is just priming fear and uncertainty (the F & U of FUD) into this open conversation, which discourages participation here. It does no one any favors.
Look up the definition and legal prerequisites of stock manipulation. It includes 1) penalty for non-compliance and 2) conspiring to share confidential (insider) information in a private/non-public setting or forum for material financial gain.
So stop it. I think you mean well but you're horribly misinformed about what makes people lawsuit targets.
TL;DR: BUY HOLD DRS (and don't set your money on fire with OTM near-dated calls)
Hi, i am a newbie to rust and recently i started creating a library about binary trees as a project for learning purposes. The idea was creating something that is good for learning but not completely useless. I would really appreciate some feedback on the project, what things are good, what are bad, what can be done better and some feature that would be nice to add, and so on...
Here's the link to the github repo, thanks in advance:
Long title, but I am curious as to how other people have done these as well as opinions. I want to hear your stories. I'm considering these options.
As pets get older their joints become a pain point for them just like it is for us. A small heating pad can help them find some comfort and ease minor pains. Couple this with some joint supplements and your companion will be much happier and lively.
I'm trying to tap into a circuit board's I2C bus. The device is really, really small, and the easiest point I've identified for getting the I2C signals are off the pins of a QFN chip (which is also really small, like a 0.4mm and 0.5mm pitch).
My friend has a microscope and is really good at soldering. He was able to attach thin enamel wires to the pads of the chip. As a strain relief (because these joints are so small they'll break if you breathe on them), we drenched the joints in Bondic LED UV Liquid Plastic Welder. This worked for a decent length of time, but with minimal stress, the joints began to fail after outright becoming disconnected.
For really, really small solder joints that (at least during debugging and development) might be moved from time to time (as gingerly and infrequently as possible), what do you use for stress relief on these small joints? Is there a better way altogether to solder them?
Thanks the advice! :)
First i still think my mother is generally a good person, and idk if she intended to manipulate me emotionally...or she just naturally applied her interpersonal work skills to home . Still, the only result left is who I am right now. With a lot of stuff to deal with myself.
Lately I'm near the school break and she asked me what I want to do. When she heard me implying I prefer staying at what i live than travelling, which she suggested, she said something like "really? not try to go out with your friends?" in a voice sounding very much hurted... I felt guilted and nearly wanted to say something to satisfy her. But it may be the first time I captured that feeling right at the moment (than through reflection). And see how I'm manipulated (in a neutral sense) by something not conveyed in words .
My mother, over my childhood and teenage years, appeared a someone who can be hurted by me . I'm not saying it's false. Maybe she truly feel hurted. ( And if so that relationships she considers with me would be dependent..). She has the right to express her feelings . But it also cannot erase the fact, of my deeply traumatic feeling towards her all the years. I've been depressed for very long trying to become who she wants, else, maybe I often unconsciously feel that she will be hurted. "She need to be protected...she is sensitive." Only recently some anger rise to the surface and I began to carry the weight that she can be hurt, and if that is the sacrifice let it be. But then when I talked about some life decisions supposedly not in her favor, she seemed more resilient than I thought. I don't know what to say about that. Is my past trauma just my bad interpretation? it's not. Maybe she has the potential to be a better mother if i was less sensitive and more self-focused. It may even make her more satisfied. This is prob true. But also my upbringing did not bring me disposition of that.
Can be any type of business (restaurant, fashion, goods) etc. Iβd like to say Iβm pretty knowledgeable about small businesses over here but Iβd love to learn about everyoneβs favorites as well as ones I might not have visited yet :)
Personally I would rather do the two *small joints. Itβd make me feel like I have something to look forward to after finishing the firstπ€£π€£

I want to design a table with flexible movements in the space also it should retain its position while holding some weight on it around 2 kg. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you !
I'd appreciate any help...

>Morey helped make small ball a craze and now heβs benefitting bc he has Embiid. This is the real short squeeze. This is market manipulation. @dmorey should be investigated.
Obviously satire/sarcastic for those that have broken detectors.
Thought this was a pretty funny and original take on all the craziness going on right now.
