A list of puns related to "RoboCop (2014 film)"
The film wasnβt really that well received by the fan base but I personally loved the sleek, black robocop suit in the 2014 remake.
RoboCop's appearance and style in RoboCop (2014 film) is more realistic than RoboCop (1987) because the same people who designed and approved the film's aesthetic are the same type of people who would approve the actual cyborgs aesthetic.
when RoboCop (2014 film) people complained that it didn't look good, it didn't look realistic and so on, it wasn't a great film by any measure.
I argue, while there may not be a priority on aesthetic there would be some consideration, public image, intimidation factor, humanity factor...ect, ect, ect. the same boards and committees that would approve or deny character design in a multi million dollar film production, would be similar to the boards and committees that would approve or deny character design for a multi million dollar military cyborg.
I'm not saying RoboCop (2014 film) was a good film, and I'm not saying RoboCop (2014 film) looked good, all I'm saying is it looked realistic in its design, because no matter how bad it looked, it was designed in a realistic manner, by a committee of out of touch people with little regard for public opinion.

The 2014 movie version of robocop has to run a gauntlet of characters. -He is out to eliminate the enemy as quick as possible. -all facts and feats/abilities from the movie are included -setting is an urban city that neither him or the opponent is familiar with during the daytime. There is a construction site in the middle with equipment. -no other individuals or animals in the area. -he gets to fully resupply and rest between rounds -he only know what his target looks like but not knowledge of their abilities.
-Opponents only know that a robot is hunting them. -All characters are composite of comics, film, and tv where applicable. -Morals are on -win by death or incapacitation
List: (may not be in the right order so let me know who you think would win each round.)

How far does robo cop get or how many does he take out?
Welcome to Sci-Fi Monday. Every Monday I randomly select a film from a list of over 1000 titles. My goal is to watch a large variety of Sci-Fi movies over a long period of time. Not all of the selections are 'great' movies, and I hope you join me each week as I explore the wide universe of Sci-Fi Cinema.
Todayβs selection is RoboCop (2014). If you don't have a physical copy, you can find places to stream it online here. You may also be able to find it at your local library.

#86 - Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013)
Really starting to dig James Wan's style and I think he fundamentally understands horror really well -- it just doesn't land that well. Patrick Wilson is just not a very scary antagonist, and the demon behind him, frankly, has a far more interesting story. Some very horrifying imagery and provocative ideas, although it never amounts to anything greater than cheap jump scares and spooky CGI monsters, many of which are actively funny for all the wrong reasons. Wasn't huge on the first and this is no different.
One Great Thing: I do really respect James Wan's style and direction with horror - a lot of the set-up is very clever and some of it even outright unnerving - the mute girl, for example, was legitimately eerie; and the house of veils legitimately disturbing. As a director, his eye for capturing the horror is exquisite.

#87 The Ritual (2017)
Some good ideas and a generally consistent sense of unease but I also don't think the emotional core and arcs ever truly feel convincing enough to make a punch. Spall is surprisingly good in the lead role and as uninspired as their dialogue is, his comrades all work together very well. The frequent allusions to a specific "tragedy" are well captured if a little straightforward in message; and the climax... well, it certainly happens, and that's the extent of my opinion on it. Treads a lot of familiar ground with some neat twists and turns - direct but certainly not unwatchable.
One Great Thing: The spooky house sequence is very conventional in its aims and ideals but thrillingly effective in the raw, cold-blooded execution - the added decision to omit the event and instead just show the aftermath a brilliant choice that amplifies the mystery alongside the tension.

#88 Back to the Future Part Three (1990)
A frankly tedious rehash of the first two adventures that delivers nothing new on the formula beyond the admittedly cool, if ultimately superficial, Western aesthetic. Doc's arc is the best part and its undoubtedly charming, but everything else - the bulk of the narrative, frankly - just feels like the movie is using its own feet as hurdles to make conflict and drama. Nowhere near as charming; nowhere near as clever; and nowhere near as watchable. To some extent, it's actively frustrating and aggrevating - soulless, bland, generic and sapped of the lightning-in-a-bottle joy of the first two installments.
One Great

Saint Maud (2020) Religious fanaticism and mental illness on display as a live-in nurse tries to save the soul of her terminal patient in a Northern England Beach town. Slow placed, good ending. I would not watch it twice. Is it fair to compare this movie to The Blackcoat's Daughter? Too late, I guess. I prefer Blackcoat by a large margin.
Stray Cat Rock: Delinquent Girl Boss (1970) A tough-chick biker takes sides in a girl-gang dispute and is soon battling yakuza over a boxer who refused to throw a match. They spend a lot of time in a club with a psychedelic rock band. Pretty tame pinky genre entry, but itβs my understanding that this is the movie that kicked off the entire tough girl genre in Japan, including four sequels to this, as well as the rip off (but possibly better) Girl Gang Boss, and Delinquent Girl Boss (yes, those are two separate franchises). With Meiko Kaji, future star of the Female Scorpion and Lady Snowblood movies.
The Beast Within (1982) Ronny Cox (Robocop) and Bibi Beschβs 17 year old son is suddenly terminally ill, so they return to the Mississippi swamp where she got raped by some sort of bigfoot seventeen years ago (theyβd been pretending it never happened) for some answers. They find the town is full of dark secrets, and soon the sick boy follows them hundreds of miles of foot from instinct, then starts drinking the localβs blood, which suddenly makes him better! Director Phillipe Mora employs a WAY over the top rip-off the classic transformation scene from The Howling, using the bladder FX. Perhaps thatβs why he went on to make The Howling 2 and 3. Sound pretty good, itβs actually pretty bad.
The Devilβs Plaything aka Vampire Ecstasy (1973) Descendants of an ancient castle come to claim their inheritance, where a coven of witches reside, waiting to reincarnate the soul of a 400 year-old vampire, the Baroness Varga, into to the body of one of the visitors. A professor of occultism and her brother, who have sexually repressed feelings for each other are along for the ride. Now this comes from mostly-porn director Joseph Sarno, and is pretty much non-stop softcore nudity and simulated sexual acts, with vampire curse wraparound story. At least 10 women bare it, maybe more. The witches do a ritual dance with dick-shaped candles. One of the visiting women gets a cure placed of her that makes her need to fuck constantly. All that and more. I f

It is rumoured that Bhansali offered her completely different lyrics. A part of the lyrics were 'Thappad se dar nahi lagta, pyaar se dar lagta hai.' For those who don't know, this is a popular dialogue from Salman starrer 'Dabangg'.
When Aishwarya heard it, she was reportedly shocked that Bhansali could come to her with such lyrics. But a true professional, the actress asked him to change the lyrics before she would decide on performing to it.
Bhansali is known to approach more than one actor for any project. While he discussed the song with Aishwarya, Priyanka was also kept in the loop and was offered a song in the film for the same situation.
However, it remains unknown why Priyanka, who eventually did the song, was given completely different lyrics.
Bhansali was definitely trying something which didn't go his way.
Okay, I absolutely loved The Rover. For starters, The Rover is set in an Australian wasteland/apocalyptic world, but itβs never stated which type of apocalypse it is. Zombie? Vampire? Low water supply? Since we never find out, I love how the director leaves that entirely up to the viewer. I think that is absolutely genius.
The film is literally just about Guy Pierce trying to get his car back, after a group of men steal it while heβs having a drink in a bar. As he sets off on his journey, he finds Robert Pattinsonβs character, Rey, who is useful for one thing and one thing only. Or at least thatβs how it seems....
Both Pattinson and Pierce give a flawless performance. The setting is so gorgeous, which is shown with long shots. Sometimes of nothing, but thatβs the beauty of this film. Imagine Mad Max but less orange.
Itβs slow, and the shots are long... almost like the movie is BEGGING you to stop watching. The film is daring you to get bored and turn it off. But I just couldnβt! I wanted to know and see how Australian Guy Pierce gets his car back!
There is also a very bold song choice towards the end. Bonus points for that.
I absolutely adored this film. I watched it for the first time on Wednesday and have watched it twice since then. I think it is so daring, but also simple. Iβve tried to talk to co-workers & friends about it but no one else has seen it.
What do you guys think? Did you like it as much as I did? Thoughts?
The theatrical poster for the film 22 Jump Street.
In the poster above, notice that the two protagonists where Red and Blue sunglasses, respectively.
This a common reoccurring symbol of Saturnian duality, found in many other films and other media sources. The sum of both the colors Red and Blue is Purple, and this color is attached to Saturn and found linked to the antagonists of many iconic films, shows, and video games.

In this key scene from the film in the video above, the two protagonists meet the artist Ice Cube, whose headquarters is a perfect cube of glass which is emphasized and lofted up in the center of a church.
If the church already has a ceiling, why does their need to be a cube and especially one with a ceiling? This a very odd spectacle, and is directly signaling the Saturnian Primeval Cube of God.
In the following bizarre moment, an image of Jesus Christ is emphasized and blasphemed, making the connection of Jesus Christ as the Son of God to the Primeval Heavenly Cube as God's headquarters.
In addition to this, the character Ice Cube, is a black man who controls the movements of the protagonists from his command center within the cube. This is further signaling of the man Ice Cube with the Black Cube (of Saturn) as a warped and blasphemous representation of YHWH El.
This black man called Ice Cube is even linked elsewhere by the cabal to Saturn, such as when he was found on a Sega Saturn cover (below) with the rings of Saturn around his head and the phrase "Head for Saturn" - linking him to the Saturnian God for ritual programming of the masses.
In his outstretched left hand, we see a dark cubic Sega Saturn video game console inside of a sphere.

The annual Purge has commenced in Detroit. A group of survivors, about four people, are running for their lives, being chased by purgers.
They eventually manage to escape the purgers upon entering an old police building. They head to the basement and discover RoboCop, deactivated, but still alive. They managed to activate him and RoboCop defends the survivors, since RoboCop's objectives is to serve the public trust, protect the innocent and uphold the law, however, because RoboCop was inactive and forgotten for so long, he's objectives wasn't updated to include the Purge.
RoboCop and the four survivors are up against a city full of purgers. Standard gear for RoboCop and baseball bats for the four survivors.
ROUND 1: 1987 RoboCop
ROUND 2: 2014 RoboCop
Hi, I am looking for the film/movie name, that the plot is within a hotel with thriller/dark-vibe/fantasy with a few lesbian-substance. The film had only two female lead/actor, the 'guest' mostly wore white dress with black-colored hair while the 'owner' wores black with blonde, short hair.
The 'owner' actress look-a-like Aubrey Plaza and Vanessa Kirby combined (I guess?). I have a screenshot but I do not know how to post with image on mobile.
The gamemasters decide that they want to end the hunger games early so they drop Robocop into the hunger games arena with orders to kill every contestant there. Can Robocop kill all of the contestants and return safely or will the number of contestants and guerrilla warfare take him down.
